Assessing the behaviour and concentration of waste pollutants deposited between two parallel plates is essential for effective environmental *** the effectiveness of treatment methods in reducing pollution scales is made easier by analysing waste discharge *** waste discharge concentration analysis is useful for assessing how effectively wastewater treatment techniques reduce pollution *** study aims to explore the Casson micropolar fluid flow through two parallel plates with the influence of pollutant concentration and thermophoretic particle *** explore the mass and heat transport features,thermophoretic particle deposition and thermal radiation are *** governing equations are transformed into ordinary differential equations with the help of suitable similarity *** Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg’s fourthfifth order technique and shooting procedure are used to solve the reduced set of equations and boundary *** integration of a neural network model based on the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm serves to improve the accuracy of predictions and optimize the analysis of *** outcomes are displayed to analyze the characteristics of the relevant dimensionless parameters in the current *** reveal that concentration upsurges as the micropolar parameter *** concentration reduces with an upsurge in the thermophoretic *** upsurge in the external pollutant source variation and the local pollutant external source parameters enhances mass *** surface drag force declines for improved values of porosity and micropolar parameters.

Heat transport has been significantly enhanced by the widespread usage of extended surfaces in various engi-neering *** turbine blade cooling,refrigeration,and electronic equipment cooling are a few prevalent ***,the thermal analysis of extended surfaces has been the subject of a significant assessment by *** by this,the present study describes the unsteady thermal dispersal phenomena in a wavy fin with the presence of convection heat *** analysis also emphasizes a novel mathematical model in accordance with transient thermal change in a wavy profiled fin resulting from convection using the finite difference method(FDM)and physics informed neural network(PINN).the time and space-dependent governing partial differential equation(PDE)for the suggested heat problem has been translated into a dimensionless form using the relevant dimensionless *** graph depicts the effect of thermal parameters on the fin’s thermal *** temperature dispersion in the fin decreases as the dimensionless convection-conduction variable *** heat dispersion in the fin is decreased by increasing the aspect ratio,whereas the reverse behavior is seen with the time ***,FDM-PINN results are validated against the outcomes of the FDM.

testosterone induced apoptosis in colon cancer cells is regulated by PI3K/Racl signaling

Recently, it has been reported that testosterone membrane signaling regulates actin reorganization and induces pro-apoptotic responses in colon tumor cells. In the present study the membrane androgen receptors （mARs）-induced activation of Rac I GtPase and the involvement of PI3K/Racl signaling in controlling the apoptotic responses in testosterone treated Caco2 colon cancer cells has been analyzed. In line with previous findings, activation of mAR by testosterone conjugates triggered early and transient actin reorganization as indicated by the significant decrease of the G/total actin ratio after 15- and 30-min treatment of the cells. Interestingly, stimulation of mAR rapidly activated the Racl GtPase. this effect was evident after 15 min and persisted for at least 24 h. testosterone induced Rac I activation was fully blocked in Caco2 cells pre-treated with the PI3K inhibitor wortmannin, indicating that Racl signaling is acting downstream of the PI3K pathway. Remarkably, when cells were pre-treated with wortmannin that blocks the PI3K/Racl signaling, apoptotic response was almost fully inhibited. these finding suggest that Racl activation, triggering actin redistribution, is involved in testosterone induced pro-apoptotic responses governed by mAR activation and emphasize the regulatory role of PI3K/Racl signaling in colon tumors.

Phytochemical profiling and anticancer potential of Cymbopogon citratus extract

Objective:to evaluate the anticancer potential of Cymbopogon citratus ***:GC-MS analysis was used to identify phytocomponents in the methanolic extract of Cymbopogon citratus.A fractionation method was employed to isolate and assess the bioactivity of different fractions and their cytotoxic activities against cancer cell lines HCt116,LoVo,Caco-2,and Ht-29 were investigated.A dual staining method with acridine orange and ethidium bromide was used to assess the effect of the extract on cell ***,the expression levels of Bax and tP53 were quantified using real-time PCR in Caco-2 cells treated with the ethyl acetate fraction of Cymbopogon citratus extract.A protein array was employed to profile key pro-and anti-apoptotic proteins in Caco-2 ***,molecular docking studies were conducted to investigate the interactions between key compounds of Cymbopogon citratus extract and specific apoptosis-related protein domains(PDB IDs:7wql and 4bkx).Results:A significant growth inhibition was observed in Caco-2 cells treated with Cymbopogon citratus *** the seven fractions of the plant extract,the ethyl acetate fraction showed the highest cytotoxicity against Caco-2 cells with an IC50 value of(6.16±0.01)μg/*** immunofluorescence assay showed that the ethyl acetate fraction could induce apoptosis of Caco-2 ***,the fraction upregulated the gene expressions of Bax and tP53 in a dose-dependent *** docking analysis demonstrated the interaction of five compounds isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction with key proteins in Caco-2 cells,indicating their anticancer ***:Cymbopogon citratus extract shows anticancer activity against Caco-2 cells by inducing *** may be a promising candidate for the treatment of colon cancer,which needs further investigation.

Detection of oxidative stress and DNA damage in freshwater snail Lymnea leuteola exposed to profenofos

Extensive production and use of organophosphate pesticide in agriculture,has risen concerned about its ecotoxicity and risk assessment of insecticides,which are more ***,the present investigation was aimed to study the induction of oxidative stress and DNA damage by organophosphate insecticide profenofos(PFF)in freshwater snail Lymnea luteola(***).the median lethal value(96 h LC50)of PFF was estimated as 1.26 mg/L for *** in a semi-static system and on the basis of LC50 value three concentrations viz.,0.126(1/10 of LC50,Sublethal I),0.63(1/2 of LC50,Sublethal II)and 0.84 mg/L(2/3 of LC50,Sublethal III)were *** were exposed to above-mentioned concentrations of PFF along with solvent control(acetone)and negative control for 96 *** haemolymph was collected at 24 and 96 h of after *** heamolymph of PFF exposed snail,lipid peroxide,glutathione reduced glutathione S transferase and superoxide dismutase activities at the tested concentrations significantly differ from those in the *** genotoxicity induced in hemocytes of treated snails was measured by alkaline single cell gel electrophoresis *** data of this experiment demonstrated significantly enhancement of oxidative stress and DNA damage in the treated snails as compared to ***,we observed statistically significant correlations of ROS with DNA damage(%tail DNA)(R^(2)=0.9708)for 24 h and DNA damage(R^(2)=0.9665)for 96 *** of the current experiment can be useful in risk evaluation of PFF among aquatic *** study confirmed the use of comet assay for in vivo laboratory experiments using freshwater snail for selecting the toxic potential of industrial chemicals and environmental contaminants.

the aim of the current research was to clone and to characterize the partial 66 kDa streptavidin-binding peptide(SBP)found in the germinated embryos of Pisum sativum *** pea(*** ***)embryos possess prominent 66 kDa SBPs that gradually disappeared after few hours of germination in germinated embryos,but not in the *** total RNA was isolated from embryos of *** but could not be isolated from the *** partial nucleotides sequences of 66 kDa SBPs of embryonic stalk(*** ***)were cloned and identified using pMOSBlue vector.66 kDa(SBP)gene from the embryos of *** *** possesses 327 bp having an open reading frame(ORF)region in a part of the gene that encoded for 108 amino *** showed similarity among 66 kDa SBPs *** ***,with *** seed biotinylated protein(SBP65)and *** sbp65a mRNA with DNA distance matrix between 0.0094 to ***-tOF mass spectrometry analysis of 66 kDa(SBP)proteins showed it had similar short peptides to 19 proteins found in different organisms,especially Convicilin precursor,and the seed biotinylated protein in *** alignment results of both nucleotide sequences and amino acid residues either from cloning or MALDI-tOF-MS showed differences with related species,especially *** mRNA was found in the cotyledons during seeds germination,which means no metabolic activities and this part may act only as food reservoirs for growing newly embryos.

the present research reports of quick and marked changes induced by plant extract of Euryops arabicus in the gene expression of 49-kDa apyrases,cytoskeletal proteins,AtPases,ADPase and amount of amino acid of pea(Pisum sativum ***).Pellets of cytoskeletals proteins(27000 xg)were probed with anti-apyrase antibody,biotinylated anti-rat,actin and alpha and beta-tubulin for Western *** and ADPase activities were determined based on the hydrolytic efficacy of adenine triphosphate and adenine *** 72 hours,the abundance of apyrases,cytoskeletal proteins and amount of amino acid in pellets of 27000 xg of germinated pea seeds in *** extracts were sharply increased than those sown in distilled *** the samples exhibited that the stems had more amount from apyrases,cytoskeletal proteins,amino acids and AtPase and ADPase activities than primary leaves and primary roots that were germinated either on *** water extract or in distilled *** on the enzyme’s capability to hydrolyse nucleotide triphosphate and nucleotide diphosphate as well as the direct association between expression of 49-kDa apyrase and cytoskeletal proteins,*** water extract had an important effect on plant germinations.

Environmental Isotopic Characterization of Groundwater and Surface Water in Northeast Missan Province,South Iraq

the present work studies the environmental isotopes assess groundwater characteristics of the different parts of the main aquifer in the northeast Missan Province in south of Iraq. Water samples of groundwater and surface water were collected for two dry and wet seasons during the water year of 2011-2012. the study shows that most of the groundwater in the aquifer falls above the global meteoric water line, and all the samples fall below the Mediterranean meteoric water line, indicating that these samples are a mixture of two water types. the tritium content of these samples supports this conclusion. the overall conclusion of this study indicates that there are two sources of groundwater recharge in the studied area： the ephemeral streams （teeb and Dewerge） and major precipitation sources. According to the tritium levels at or below one tritium unit （tU） obtained from the water, supply wells are highly confined or ＂not vulnerable＂. Overall, the 3^H results imply that recent recharge has taken place during the last four to five decades. In the recharge area, the high tritium content in the southern part of the teeb area suggests that the recharge originates from rapid infiltration of surface runoff. therefore, the groundwater resources in the study area should be protected from contamination, because it will influence the aquifer in a relatively short period of time if any contamination enters the recharge areas of the aquifer.
