The complete fusion channel of two approaching nuclei,including the interaction potential and fusion cross section,is systematically analyzed using the face-center-cubic(FCC)*** this purpose,we assume that the initial distribution of the nucleons in target and projectile nuclei is formed based on the FCC lattice ***,the density-dependent nucleon-nucleon interaction(CdM3Y6)is employed to parameterize the nuclear interactions between the participant *** obtained results for 45 fusion reactions reveal that the FCC+CdM3Y6 model is able to reproduce the corresponding experimental data of the barrier heights and positions within±10%,on *** analytical calculations of the fusion cross section are performed by employing the coupled-channel approach which includes couplings to the low-lying2^(+) and 3^(-) states in target and projectile *** is shown that the theoretical values of the fusion excitation functions based on the selected microscopic framework are consistent with the experimental data.

The Internet of Things(IoT)is converting today’s physical world into a complex and sophisticated network of connected devices on an enormous *** existing malicious node detection mechanism in traditional approaches lacks in transparency,availability,or traceability of the detection *** overcome these concerns,we provide a decentralized technique using blockchain *** the fact that blockchain technology is applicable to create that type of models,existing harmony set of instructions are susceptible to do violence to such as doS and Sybil,making blockchain systems ***,a new Proof-of-Improved-Participation(PoIP)harmony instruction was suggested that benefits the participation rules to select honest peers for mining while limiting malicious *** an evaluation the PoIP outperforms the Proof-of-Work(PoW)instructions are demonstrated,Proof of Stake(PoS)instructions in terms of energy consumption,accuracy,and *** compare the three consensus protocols with respect to efficiency,we build a lightweight mining model andfind that PoIP consensus has greater efficiency than PoW and *** has 25%lower attack risk than existing *** a consequence,our suggested methodology can provide the needed security with minimal attack risk and high accuracy,according to the analysis *** a result,suggested consensus is more efficient than existing methods in terms of block generation *** we suggest that suggested consensus is very suitable for IoT-based applications especially in healthcare.

In this paper, an efficient technique for optimal design of digital infinite impulse response （IIR） filter with minimum passband error （ep）, minimum stopband error （es）, high stopband attenuation （As）, and also free from limit cycle effect is proposed using cuckoo search （CS） algorithm. In the proposed method, error function, which is multi-model and non-differentiable in the heuristic surface, is constructed as the mean squared difference between the designed and desired response in frequency domain, and is optimized using CS algorithm. Computational efficiency of the proposed technique for exploration in search space is examined, and during exploration, stability of filter is maintained by considering lattice representation of the denominator polynomials, which requires less computational complexity as well as it improves the exploration ability in search space for designing higher filter taps. A comparative study of the proposed method with other algorithms is made, and the obtained results show that 90% reduction in errors is achieved using the proposed method. However, computational complexity in term of CPU time is increased as compared to other existing algorithms.

Investigation of Charge Transport in Percolating network of PdCu nanoclusters

Transport of charge carriers in percolating nanocluster devices based on bimetallic PdCu nanoclusters was investigated in this work. The device was fabricated by self-assembly of the nanoclusters between electrical electrodes inside an ultra-high vacuum compatible system. The average size of the produced nanoclusters was 7.3 nm, and the composition was Pdo.77Cuo.23. Systematic in situ current-voltage measurements as a function of temperature were per- formed which provide a conductance-temperature profile. The results are explained in terms of the charge carriers＇ tunneling through small potential barriers at the junctions between nanoclusters. The results predict the size of the nanoclusters as well as the magnitude of the potential difference of the tunneling barriers. This investigation helps understanding the nature of the interface between the nanoclusters and the charge carrier transport within those devices to be utilized for optimizing gas sensing properties of PdCu nanocluster devices.

The microwave electrothermal thruster （MET） is an electric propulsion device that uses an electromagnetic resonant cavity within which free-floating plasma is ignited and sustained in a propellant *** thrust is generated when the heated propellant gas is exhausted out of a gas-dynamic *** an empty cavity without any perturbing regions—e.g.,dielectric regions or antenna regions—it is fairly straightforward to accurately calculate the cavity＇s resonant frequency and describe the electric field intensity distribution within the ***,actual METs do contain perturbing regions,which means that analytical solutions are no longer possible to fully characterize the ***,the numerical methods to simulate the electric field intensity and distribution within the resonant cavity were *** simulation results are that with the cap height increasing,the resonant frequency and electric field strength decrease,also increasing the permittivity of dielectric material causes decreasing the resonant frequency and electric field strength.A decrease in resonant frequency and maximum electric field strength,and an increase in resonant bandwidth,were observed with increasing antenna *** an antenna of a given depth equals decreasing the depth.

Earth has lately been suffering from unforeseen catastrophic phenomena related to the consequences of the greenhouse *** is therefore essential not only that sustainability criteria be incorporated into the everyday lifestyle,but also that energy-saving procedures be *** to the number of wind farms installed annually,wind energy is among the most promising sustainable-energy *** into account the last statement for energy-saving methods,it is essential to value the contribution of wind energy not only in eliminating CO_(2) emissions when producing electricity from wind,but also in assessing the total environmental impact associated with the entire lifetime of all the processes related with this energy-production *** order to quantify such environmental impacts,life-cycle analysis(LCA)is *** a matter of fact,there are a very limited number of studies devoted to LCA of onshore wind-energy-converter supporting towers-a fact that constitutes a first-class opportunity to perform high-end *** the present work,the life-cycle performance of two types of tall onshore wind-turbine towers has been investigated:a lattice tower and a tubular *** comparison reasons,both tower configurations have been designed to sustain the same loads,although they have been manufactured by different production methods,different amounts of material were used and different mounting procedures have been applied;all the aforementioned items diversify in their overall life-cycle performance as well as their performance in all LCA phases examined *** life-cycle performance of the two different wind-turbine-tower systems is calculated with the use of efficient open LCA software and valuable conclusions have been drawn when combining structural and LCA results in terms of comparing alternative configurations of the supporting systems for wind-energy converters.

noise characteristics of a Read Avalanche diode are analyzed by incorporating the tunneling mechanism of the electron into the avalanche *** expressions are presented for the mean square noise voltage and noise measure in MITATT（mixed tunneling and avalanche transit time） mode operation.A wide band gap semiconductor（4H-SiC） based MITATT diode is considered to study the effect of tunneling on the noise characteristics and negative *** exhibiting enough potential for 4H-SiC to be used as a terahertz source of power in the MITATT mode,our results record a noise measure of 35.18 dB at a frequency of 1.5 THz.
