Comparison of clinical characteristics and prognostic factors in two site-specific categories of ampullary cancer

Molecular mechanism of hypoxia and alpha-ketoglutaric acid on collagen expression in scleral fibroblasts

Exploring the material basis and mechanism of Moringa oleifera in alleviating slow transit constipation based on network pharmacology and animal models

Moringa oleifera(M. oleifera) have laxative effects， but their active compositions and mechanisms are not very clear thus far. To this end， we systematically explored the active components and mechanism of M. oleifera leaves in relieving constipation by using the slow transit constipation (STC) mouse model and network pharmacology. The results of animal experiments showed that M. oleifera aqueous extract (MOA) had good laxative activity， and its 70% alcohol soluble part (ASP) also showed significant laxative activity(P lin and the mRNA and protein expression of myosin light chain 9 (MYL9) in the ileum， thereby activating the GPCR-MLC signaling pathway. These results lay a foundation for the application of M. oleifera and Phe in constipation.

Background There is no appropriate tool to predict recombinant human growth hormone(rhGH)response before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late *** current study aimed to explore the associations between magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)stages of the knee growth plates and rhGH response in short-stature children in late *** In this prospective cohort study,short-stature children in late puberty were treated with rhGH and followed up for 6 *** proposed a novel knee MRI staging system according to the growth plate states of distal femurs or proximal tibias and divided the participants into three groups:unclosed growth plate group,marginally closed growth plate group,and nearly closed growth plate *** primary outcomes were height gain and growth velocity(GV),which were assessed three months *** Fifty participants were enrolled,including 23 boys and 27 *** and height gain after 6 months of rhGH therapy decreased successively in the three groups with an increased degree of growth plate fusion,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(GV_(1-3 mon)from 9.38 to 6.08 to 4.56 cm/year,GV_(4-6 mon)from 6.75 to 4.92 to 3.25 cm/year,and height gain from 4.03 to 2.75 to 1.95 cm,all P<0.001).Moreover,the MRI stages of growth plates independently served as a significant variable for GV and height gain after therapy,especially when grouped by proximal tibias(all P<0.01).Conclusion The MRI staging method is expected to be an effective tool for predicting rhGH response before therapy initiation in short-stature children in late puberty.

Evaluation and attribution of trends in compound dry-hot events for major river basins in China

Concurrent compound dry and hot events(CDHEs)amplified more damange on the ecosystems and human society than individual *** climate change,compound dry and hot events become more frequent on a global *** paper proposes a mathematical method to quantitatively attribute changes of CDHEs to changes of precipitation,change in temperature and change in the dependence between precipitation and *** attribution is achieved by formulating the total differential equation of the return period of CDHEs among Meta-gaussian model.A case study of China is devised based on monthly precipitation and temperature data during the period from 1921 to 2020 for 80 major river *** is found that temperature is the main driving factor of increases in CDHEs for 49 major river basins in China,except for the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze *** West China,precipitation changes drove the increase in CDHEs in 18 river basins(23%),particularly in parts of North Xinjiang,Qinghai and *** the other hand,dependence between precipitation and temperature dominated changes of CDHEs in 13 river basins(16%)of China with other factors,including parts of South China,East China and Northwestern ***,changes in both the mean and spread of precipitation and temperature can also contribute to changes in CDHEs.

Positioning and mapping technology is a difficult and hot topic in autonomous driving environment sensing *** a complex traffic environment,the signal of the Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)will be blocked,leading to inaccurate vehicle *** ensure the security of automatic electric campus vehicles,this study is based on the Lightweight and Ground-Optimized Lidar Odometry and Mapping on Variable Terrain(LEGO-LOAM)algorithm with a monocular vision system *** algorithm framework based on Lidar-IMU-Camera(Lidar means light detection and ranging)fusion was proposed.A lightweight monocular vision odometer model was used,and the LEGO-LOAM system was employed to initialize monocular *** visual odometer information was taken as the initial value of the laser *** the back-end opti9mization phase error state,the Kalman filtering fusion algorithm was employed to fuse the visual odometer and LEGO-LOAM system for *** visual word bag model was applied to perform loopback *** the test results into account,the laser radar loopback detection was further optimized,reducing the accumulated positioning *** real car experiment results showed that our algorithm could improve the mapping quality and positioning accuracy in the campus *** Lidar-IMU-Camera algorithm framework was verified on the hong Kong city dataset *** with the LEGO-LOAM algorithm,the results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce map drift,improve map resolution,and output more accurate driving trajectory information.
