Calculation and Analysis of Velocity and Viscous Drag in an Artery with a Periodic Pressure Gradient

Blood as a fluid that human and other living creatures are dependent on has been always considered by scientists and *** changes in blood pressure and its normal velocity can be a sign of a *** significant in blood fluid＇s mechanics is Constitutive equations and finding some relations for analysis and description of drag,velocity and periodic blood pressure in *** this paper,by considering available experimental quantities,for blood pressure and velocity in periodic time of a thigh artery of a living dog,at first it is written into Fourier series,then by solving Navier-stokes equations,a relation for curve drawing of vessel blood pressure with rigid wall is *** in another part of this paper,vessel wall is taken in to consideration that vessel wall is elastic and its pressure and velocity are written into complex Fourier *** this case,by solving Navier-stokes equations,some relations for blood velocity,viscous drag on vessel wall and blood pressure are *** this study by noting that vessel diameter is almost is large（3.7 mm）,and blood is considered as a Newtonian ***,available experimental quantities of pressure with obtained curve of solving Navier-stokes equations are *** blood analysis in rigid vessel,existence of 48% variance in pressure curve systole peak caused vessel blood flow analysis with elastic wall,results in new relations for blood flow *** Resultant curve is obtained from new relations holding 10% variance in systole peak.

Assessment of rehabilitation strategies for lakes affected by anthropogenic and climatic changes: A case study of the Urmia Lake, Iran

Over the last three decades,more than half of the world's large lakes and wetlands have experienced significant shrinkage,primarily due to climate change and extensive water consumption for agriculture and other human *** desiccation of lakes leads to severe environmental,economic,and social *** Lake,located in northwestern Iran and representing a vital natural ecosystem,has experienced a volume reduction of over 90.0%.Our research evaluated diverse water management strategies within the Urmia Lake basin and prospects of inter-basin water *** study focused on strategies to safeguard the environmental water rights of the Urmia Lake by utilizing the modeling and simulating(MODsIM)*** model simulated changes in the lake's water volume under various *** included diverting water from incoming rivers,cutting agricultural water use by 40.0%,releasing dam water in non-agricultural seasons,treated wastewater utilization,and inter-basin *** hierarchy process(AHP)was utilized to analyze the simulation *** opinions with AHP analysis,acted as a multi-criteria decision-making tool to evaluate the simulation and determine the optimal water supply source priority for the Urmia *** findings underscore the critical importance of reducing agricultural water consumption as the foremost step in preserving the *** this,inter-basin water transfers are suggested,with a detailed consideration of the inherent challenges and limitations faced by the source *** is imperative to conduct assessments on the impacts of these transfers on the downstream users and the potential environmental risks,advocating for a diplomatic and cooperative approach with adjacent *** study also aims to forecast the volumes of water that can be transferred under different climatic conditions—drought,normal,and wet years—to inform strategic water management planning for the Urmia *** to our proj

The current global warming,coupled with the growing demand for energy in our daily lives,necessitates the development of more efficient and reliable energy storage *** batteries(LBs)are at the forefront of emerging power sources addressing these *** studies have shown that integrating hexagonal boron nitride(h-BN)nanomaterials into LBs enhances the safety,longevity,and electrochemical performance of all LB components,including electrodes,electrolytes,and separators,thereby suggesting their potential value in advancing eco-friendly energy *** review provides an overview of the most recent applications of h-BN nanomaterials in *** begins with an informative introduction to h-BN nanomaterials and their relevant properties in the context of LB ***,it addresses the challenges posed by h-BN and discusses existing strategies to overcome these limitations,offering valuable insights into the potential of BN *** review then proceeds to outline the functions of h-BN in LB components,emphasizing the molecular-level mechanisms responsible for performance ***,the review concludes by presenting the current challenges and prospects of integrating h-BN nanomaterials into battery research.

The light curve analyses and orbital period variations for two contact binary stars,Ls Del and V997 Cyg,are presented in this work which was conducted in the frame of the Binary systems of south and North project Ground-based photometric observations were performed at two observatories in *** used the Transiting Exoplanet survey satellite(TEss)data for extracting times of minima and light curve analysis of the targe *** O-C diagram for both systems displays a parabolic *** Del and V997 Cyg’s orbital periods are increasing at rates of dP/dt=7.20×10^(-08)days yr^(-1)and dP/dt=2.54×10^(-08)days yr^(-1),respectively Therefore,it can be concluded that mass is being transferred from the less massive star to the more massive component with a rate of dM/dt=-1.96×10^(-7)M_(⊙)yr^(-1)for the Ls Del system,and dM/dt=-3.83×10^(-7)M_(⊙)yr-1for V997 *** parameters of a third possible object in the system are also *** PHysics Of Eclipsing BinariEs Python code was used to analyze the light *** light curve solutions needed a cold starspot due to the asymmetry in the Ls Del system’s light curve *** mass ratio fill-out factor,and star temperature all indicate that both systems are contact binary types in this *** methods were applied to estimate the absolute parameters of the systems:one method relied on the parallax of Gaia DR3,and the other used a P-M *** positions of the systems are also depicted on the M-L,M-R q-L_(ratio),and logM_(tot)-logJ_(0)*** recommend that further observations and investigations be done on the existence of a fourth body in this system.

Effect of Oxygenates Blending with Gasoline to Improve Fuel Properties

The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of oxygenate additives into gasoline for the improvement of physicochemical properties of *** Tertiary Butyl Ether（MTBE）,Methanol,Tertiary butyl alcohol（TBA）,and Tertiary amyl alcohol（TAA） blend into unleaded gasoline with various blended rates of 2.5%,5%,7.5%,10%,15%,and 20%.Physicochemical properties of blends are analyzed by the standard American society of Testing and Materials（AsTM） ***,TBA,and TAA increase density of the mixtures,but MTBE decreases *** addition of oxygenates lead to a distortion of the base gasoline＇s distillation *** Reid vapor pressure（RVP） of gasoline is found to increase with the addition of the oxygenated *** oxygenates improve both motor and research octane *** these four additives,TBA shows the best fuel properties.
