Pattern Analysis and Regressive Linear Measure for botnet Detection

Capturing the distributed platform with remotely controlled compromised machines using botnet is extensively analyzed by various ***,certain limitations need to be addressed *** provisioning of detection mechanism with learning approaches provides a better solution more broadly by saluting multi-objective *** bots’patterns or features over the network have to be analyzed in both linear and non-linear *** linear and non-linear features are composed of high-level and low-level *** collected features are maintained over the bag of Features(boF)where the most influencing features are collected and provided into the classifier ***,the linearity and non-linearity of the threat are evaluated with Support Vector Machine(SVM).Next,with the collected boF,the redundant features are eliminated as it triggers overhead towards the predictor ***,a novel Incoming data Redundancy Elimination-based learning model(RedE-L)is built to classify the network features to provide robustness towards botNets *** simulation is carried out in MATLAb environment,and the evaluation of proposed RedE-L model is performed with various online accessible network traffic dataset(benchmark dataset).The proposed model intends to show better tradeoff compared to the existing approaches like conventional SVM,C4.5,RepTree and so ***,various metrics like Accuracy,detection rate,Mathews Correlation Coefficient(MCC),and some other statistical analysis are performed to show the proposed RedE-L model's *** F1-measure is 99.98%,precision is 99.93%,Accuracy is 99.84%,TPR is 99.92%,TNR is 99.94%,FNR is 0.06 and FPR is 0.06 respectively.

bot detection is considered a crucial security issue that is extensively analysed in various existingapproaches. Machine Learning is an efficient way of botnet attack detection. bot detectionis the major issue faced by the existing system. This research concentrates on adopting a graphbasedfeature learning process to reduce feature dimensionality. The incoming samples arecorrectly classified and optimised using an Adaboost classifier with an improved grey wolfoptimiser (g-AGWO). The proposed IGWO optimisation approach is adopted to fulfil the multiconstraintissues related to bot detection and provide better local and global solutions (to satisfyexploration and exploitation). The extensive results show that the proposed g-AGWO model outperformsexisting approaches to reduce feature dimensionality, under-fitting/over-fitting andexecution time. The error rate prediction shows the feasibility of the given model to work over thechallenging environment. This model also works efficiently towards the unseen data to achievebetter generalization.

Haplotyping of Rice Genotypes Using Simple Sequence Repeat Markers Associated with Salt Tolerance

Salt stress is a major problem in most of the rice growing areas in the world. A major QTLSaltol associated with salt tolerance at the seedling stage has been mapped on chromosome 1 in *** study aimed to characterize the haplotype diversity at Saltol and additional QTLs associated withsalt tolerance. Salt tolerance at the seedling stage was assessed in 54 rice genotypes in the scale of 1to 9 score at EC = 10 dSm^-1 under controlled environmental conditions. Seven new breeding linesincluding three KMR3/O. rufipogon introgression lines showed similar salt tolerant ability as FL478 andcan be good sources of new genes/alleles for salt tolerance. Simple sequence repeat （SSR） markerRM289 showed only two alleles and RM8094 showed seven alleles. Polymorphic information contentvalue varied from 0.55 for RM289 to 0.99 for RM8094 and RM493. based on 14 SSR markers, the 54lines were clearly separated into two major clusters. Fourteen haplotypes were identified based onSaltol linked markers with FL478 as the reference. Alleles of RM8094 and RM3412 can discriminatebetween the salt tolerant and susceptible genotypes clearly and hence can be useful in marker-assistedselection at the seedling stage. Other markers RM10720 on chromosome 1 and RM149 and RM264 onchromosome 8 can also distinguish tolerant and susceptible lines but with lesser stringency.

Anti-ulcer activity of Ficus religiosa leaf ethanolic extract

Objective:To evaluate the anti-ulcer activity and acute toxicity ofFicus religiosa(F. religiosa)leaf ethanolic extract in animal ***:Anti-ulcer activity ofF. religiosaethanolicextract(250 and 500 mg/kg body weight) was studied on stress induced ulcer animal *** was used as standard. The anti-ulcer activity ofF. religiosawas evaluated with thehelp of ulcer area and histopatholgical examination. Preliminary phyto-chemical screeningand acute toxicity studies ofF. religiosaalso carried ***:Results showed that theextract treatments prevented ulcer area and gastric secretion in a dose-dependent *** of 2000 mg/kg extract did not show any acute toxicity in albino mice. Preliminaryphytochemical analysis identified the presence of flavonoids in the ethanolic extract ofF. ***:The extract is non-toxic even at relatively high concentrations. The anti-ulceractivity is probably due to the presence of flavanoids.
