Collaborative work on increasingly complex hydroclimatic investigations often crosses disciplinary boundaries. Elements of scientific inquiry, such as data or the results of analyses can become objectified, or capable of being adopted and/or adapted by users from multiple disciplinary realms. These objects often provide a bridge for collaborative endeavors, or are used as tools by individuals pursuing multi-disciplinary work. boundary object terminology was first formalized and applied by social scientists. However, few examples of the application of this useful framework are found in the hydrologic literature. The construct is applied here to identify and discuss how common researcb products and processes are used both internally and externally through providing examples from a project examining the historical and paleo proxy-based hydroclimatology of a headwaters region of Mongolia. The boundary object concept is valuable to consider when conducting and critiquing basic research, collaborating across multiple disciplinary teams as when studying climate change issues, as an individual researcher working in a cross boundary sense using methods from differing disciplines to answer questions, and/or when one group adapts the work of another to their own research problems or interpretive needs, as occurred with selected products of this project.

The angular distributions of elastic scattering of^14n ions on^10b targets have been measured at incident beam energies of 21.0 and 24.5 *** distributions at higher energies 38–94.0 MeV(previously measured)were also included in the *** data were analyzed within the framework of the optical model and the distorted waves born approximation *** observed rise in cross sections at large angles was interpreted as a possible contribution of theα-cluster exchange *** amplitudes SA2 and SA4 for the configuration^14n→^10b+αwere *** average values are 0.58±0.10 and 0.81±0.12 for SA2 and SA4,respectively,suggesting that the exchange mechanism is a major component of the elastic scattering for this *** energy dependence of the depths for the real and imaginary potentials was found.

We reconstruct the cosmological background evolution under the scenario of dynamical dark energy through the Gaussian process approach,using the latest Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument(DESI)baryon acoustic oscillations(bAO)combined with other *** results reveal that the reconstructed dark-energy equation-of-state(EoS)parameter w(z)exhibits the so-called quintom-b behavior,crossing-1 from phantom to quintessence regime as the universe *** investigate under what situation this type of evolution could be achieved from the perspectives of field theories and modified *** particular,we reconstruct the corresponding actions for f(R),f(T),and f(Q)gravity,*** explicitly show that,certain modified gravity can exhibit the quintom dynamics and fit the recent DESI data efficiently,and for all cases the quadratic deviation from theΛCDM scenario is mildly favored.

The critical behaviour of the three-dimensional blume-Emery-Griffiths （bEG） model ＆ investigated at D/ J = O, -0.25 and -1 in the range of-1 ≤ K/J ≤ 0 for J -- 100. The simulations are carried out on a simple cubic lattice using the heating algorithm improved from the Creutz cellular automaton （CCA ） under periodic boundary conditions. The universality of the model are obtained for re-entrant and double re-entrant phase transitions which occur at certain D/J and K/J parameters, with J and K representing the nearest-neighbour bilinear and biquadratic interactions, and D being the single-ion anisotropy parameter. The values of static critical exponents β, γ and v are estimated within the framework of the finite-size scaling theory. The results are compatible with the universal Ising critical behaviour for all continuous phase transitions in these ranges.

We investigate a double cavity optomechanical system generating single and double Fano resonance(multi-Fano). by altering a single parameter, the tunnelling rate g of the middle mirror, we are able to switch between single and double Fano line shapes. The first spectral line shape is stronger in the case of multi-Fano than in the case of single Fano. Also the behaviour of the steady state value of the displacement of the middle mirror, with respect to g, heavily influences the behaviour of double Fano lines in our scheme. This tunability along with using a single pump and signal/probe laser has an added advantage in situations where only low power consumption is available.

The aim of this study was to evaluate groundwater fitness for domestic and irrigational use in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh,*** this study,block wise(n=16)groundwater samples were collected,and measured parameters were analyzed using the pollution index of groundwater(PIG),various irrigational indices,and graphical *** results of this study suggested that most of the parameters were within the prescribed limits of WHO and bIS,excluding F-(0.4 to 2.6 mg L^(-1))and Fe^(2+)(0.1 to 1.7 mg L^(-1)).Concentrations of total dissolved solids(TDS)were exceeded the desirable limit(>500 mg L^(-1))in 43.75%of samples at some *** Gibbs plot revealed that groundwater chemistry was governed by rock-water interaction in the region,especially silicate *** Piper plot suggested that Ca^(2+)-HCO3-is dominant hydrochemical facies in the area followed by mixed Ca^(2+)-na^(+)-HCO_(3)^(-)type,na^(+)-Cl^(-)type,and na^(+)-HCO_(3)^(-)*** evaluation revealed that the contribution of F-and Fe2+in groundwater degradation is high in comparison to other elements in the region,about 18.75%samples showed low pollution,while about 6.25%samples shows moderate pollution,and 6.25%samples reflected high *** human health risk(HHR)assessment finding suggested that children(mean:1.36)are more vulnerable than adults(mean:1.01).Sodium absorption ration(SAR),Residual sodium carbonate(RSC),and Permeability index(PI)indicated that most of the groundwater was suitable for irrigation,whereas,Magnesium hazard ration(MHR)and Potential salinity(PS)indices suggested that only 37.5%and 56.25%of the samples were suitable for irrigational use,*** regional study would help in decision making for stakeholders and relevant authorities in the execution of groundwater management and remediation plans in the area.

Aim:The aim of this study was to compare and investigate the tissue thickness at the maxillary and mandibular central incisors utilizing the probe visibility method and traditional way of measuring gingival thickness(GT)by endodontic ***:In 200 selected patients,the GT was measured at both the maxillary and mandibular anterior using an endodontic file after local infiltration at the mid-distance from the gingival margin to the mucogingival *** checkpoint of transition from thin to thick periodontal phenotype was determined by probe visibility method in the following age groups:Group A:21-30 years;Group b:31-40 years;Group C:41-50 years;and Group D:51-60 ***:GT varied from 0.3 to 1.9 *** translucency was observed up to the thickness of 0.7 *** 0.8 mm of GT,there was no probe ***:According to the present research,the gingiva appears transparent up to a thickness of around 0.7 *** checkpoint of transition between thin and thick periodontal phenotypes at both the maxillary and mandibular anterior was associated with a GT of 0.8 mm.

The recovery of rare earth elements(REEs) is a global challenge and the mining of rare earths has serious environmental implications due to the toxic waste released post ***,the rising demand for rare earths and their far reaching electronic applications necessitates an effective strategy to recover the REEs from more viable *** this work,the graphene oxide-Aspergillus niger spores(*** spores) blend was utilized for adsorptive recovery of a precious rare earth Eu(Ⅲ) and the adsorption variables like pH of the medium,adsorbent dosage,sorption kinetics,thermodynamics,and isotherm were optimized for the developed bioso *** adsorption process suits the Langmuir isotherm model with a maximum adsorption capacity of 147.3 mg/*** pseudo-second-order kinetics is a perfect fit to describe the adsorption *** results obtained through the Van’t Hoff plot show negative free energy change(ΔG^(0)) which implies the spontaneity of the adsorption *** negative standard enthalpy change(ΔH^(0)) values show that the nature of the adsorption process is *** analytical characterizations including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),Raman,X-ray diffraction(XRD),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),brunauer-Emmett-Teller(bET),thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA),and scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(SEM-EDX) were employed to study the *** features of *** spores biosorbent were applied to recover Eu(Ⅲ) from real samples such as fluorescent lamp phosphor,red phosphor powder,and a simulated radioactive waste solution.

The Schrodinger equation is solved with general molecular potential via the improved quantization *** for bound state energy eigenvalues,radial eigenfunctions,mean kinetic energy,and potential energy are obtained in compact *** modeling the centrifugal term of the effective potential,a Pekeris-like approximation scheme is ***,we use the Hellmann–Feynman theorem to derive the relation for expectation *** state energy eigenvalues,wave functions and meanenergies of Woods–Saxon potential,Morse potential,Mobius squared and Tietz–Hua oscillators are deduced from the general molecular *** addition,we use our equations to compute the bound state energy eigenvalues and expectation values for four diatomic molecules viz.H_(2),CO,HF,and O_(2).Results obtained are in perfect agreement with the data available from the literature for the potentials and *** also show that as the vibrational quantum number increases,the mean kinetic energy for the system in a Tietz–Hua potential increases slowly to a threshold value and then *** in a Morse potential,the mean kinetic energy increases linearly with vibrational quantum number increasing.

The prevalence of obesity has increased and is a health concern *** to the concerns regarding synthetic anti-obesity treatments,nowadays natural products become a *** studies proved that there is a potential to use marine algae as anti-obesity ***,in this study,the lipid inhibitory effect of crude polysaccharide of amyloglucosidase-assisted hydrolysate from Sargassum thunbergii(STAC)and its fucoidan fractions(STAFs)on 3T3-L1 cells and high-fat diet(HFD)-induced obese mice were *** to the results,the STAF3,showed the highest xylose content and exhibited significant inhibitory effects on lipid accumulation by downregulating adipogenic and lipogenic proteins in 3T3-L1 ***,oral supplementation with STAC significantly declined gain in body weight and fat weight,and serum lipid contents in an HFD-induced obesity mouse *** and chemical characterizations demonstrated that puritied STAF3 has consistent surface morphology and small particle size,with similar structural characteristics as commercial ***,these results indicate that STAC and purified STAF3 from Sargassum thunbergia is a potent source to develop as ananti-obesity agents or functional food products to counter obesity.
