The ability to make accurate energy predictions while considering all related energy factors allows production plants,regulatory bodies,and governments to meet energy demand and assess the effects of energy-saving *** energy consumption falls within normal parameters,it will be possible to use the developed model to predict energy consumption and develop improvements and mitigating measures for energy *** objective of this model is to accurately predict energy consumption without data limitations and provide results that are easily *** proposed model is an implementation of the stacked long Short-Term Memory(lSTM)snapshot ensemble combined with the Fast Fourier Transform(FFT)and *** and berard’s Individual Household Electric-Power Consumption(IHEPC)dataset incorporated with weather data are used to analyse the model’s accuracy with predicting energy *** model is trained,and the results measured using Root Mean Square Error(RMSE),Mean Absolute Error(MAE),Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE),and coefficient of determination(R^(2))metrics are 0.020,0.013,0.017,and 0.999,*** stacked lSTM snapshot ensemble performs better than the compared models based on prediction accuracy and minimized *** results of this study show that prediction accuracy is high,and the model’s stability is high as *** model shows that high levels of accuracy prove accurate predictive ability,and together with high levels of stability,the model has good interpretability,which is not typically accounted for in ***,this study shows that it can be inferred.

RNF26 up-regulates PD-l1 to regulate the cancer immune response in ccRCC

background: Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) stands as the most prevalent form of kidney cancer, accounting for a significant proportion of malignancies affecting the kidneys. ccRCC is well known as a type of tumour with immunogenicity. Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) aim to enhance the anticancer immune response in ccRCC by blocking programmed cell death 1 ligand 1/programmed death 1 (PD-l1/PD-1) pathways. In a previous study, we showed that RING finger protein 26 (RNF26) degrades chromobox 7 (CbX7) to activate the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) in ccRCC. Methods: We analyzed The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database using the R package ESTIMATE and found that RNF26 was significantly associated with ccRCC immune infiltration. The relationship between RNF26 and the PD1 checkpoint signaling pathway was detected by enrichment analysis. In addition, the molecular mechanism of RNF26 up-regulation of PD-l1 was detected by transcriptome sequencing, RT-qPCR, and Western blot in ccRCC cell lineages 786-O and A498 cells. The transplantation tumor experiments in C57bl/6 mice were used to test the efficacy of anti-PD1 and knockdown of RNF26 in vivo. Results: We showed that RNF26 suppressed the immune response to ccRCC. Next, we revealed that RNF26 activated the PD-1 checkpoint pathway to suppress the immune response to ccRCC, possibly via the CbX7/PD-l1 axis. Conclusion: The suggestion derived from our results is that targeting RNF26 holds the potential to amplify the efficacy of anticancer immunotherapies in the treatment of ccRCC.

Digital Social Connectedness as a lifeline for Older People: Use and Non-use of VinclesbCN During the Pandemic

This article presents the results of a study that evaluated VinclesbCN during COVID-19. This digital-based public social service aims to prevent loneliness and isolation in +65-year-old adults living in barcelona. Through service user(N = 12) and professional(N = 6) interviews and a questionnaire with service users(N = 255), we demonstrate the pivotal role of digital connectedness in transforming VinclesbCN into a lifeline during the pandemic. The analysis revealed the importance of sociability, social support, and, especially, entertainment in coping with pandemic fatigue and facilitating social connectivity and support among users. Users engaged in activities such as sharing images, songs, memes, and daily greetings to provide proximity, sociability, and care among users, whether they belonged to preexisting groups or were newly introduced to the platform. It also facilitated the identification of individuals who needed companionship, comfort, or more specialized support. The findings emphasize the significance of entertainment as a resilience-building strategy during times of uncertainty. Despite the positive impact, not all users equally used the platform. Non-use was strongly associated with being a woman, having a low educational level, having preexisting social relationships, less time of enrolment in the platform, as well as a high perception of loneliness, poor self-reported health, and low mood. The article underscores the need for further research into older adults' digital engagement during crises, its role in building resilience, and advocating for inclusive digital interventions that take into account diverse older adults' needs and experiences in crisis contexts.

breast cancer is a type of cancer responsible for higher mortality rates among women. The cruelty of breast cancer always requires a promising approach for its earlier detection. In light of this, the proposed research leverages the representation ability of pretrained EfficientNet-b0 model and the classification ability of the XGboost model for the binary classification of breast tumors. In addition, the above transfer learning model is modified in such a way that it will focus more on tumor cells in the input mammogram. Accordingly, the work proposed an EfficientNetb0 having a Spatial Attention layer with XGboost (ESA-XGbNet) for binary classification of mammograms. For this, the work is trained, tested, and validated using original and augmented mammogram images of three public datasets namely CbIS-DDSM, INbreast, and MIAS databases. Maximum classification accuracy of 97.585% (CbIS-DDSM), 98.255% (INbreast), and 98.91% (MIAS) is obtained using the proposed ESA-XGbNet architecture as compared with the existing models. Furthermore, the decision-making of the proposed ESA-XGbNet architecture is visualized and validated using the Attention Guided GradCAM-based Explainable AI technique. © 2024 The Authors.

To solve the problems of pulse broadening and channel fading caused by atmospheric scattering and turbulence,multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)technology is a valid way.A wireless ultraviolet(UV)MIMO channel estimation approach based on deep learning is provided in this *** deep learning is used to convert the channel estimation into the image *** combining convolutional neural network(CNN)and attention mechanism(AM),the learning model is designed to extract the depth features of channel state information(CSI).The simulation results show that the approach proposed in this paper can perform channel estimation effectively for UV MIMO communication and can better suppress the fading caused by scattering and turbulence in the MIMO scattering channel.
