The effect of annealing on vertically aligned TiO2 NWs deposited by glancing angle deposition（GLAD）method on Si substrate using pressed and sintered TiO2 pellets as source material is *** FE-SEM images reveal the retention of vertically aligned NWs on Si substrate after annealing *** EDS analysis of TiO2NWs sample annealed at 600 ℃ in air for 1 h shows the higher weight percentage ratio of ～2.6（i.e.,72.27%oxygen and 27.73%titanium）.The XRD pattern reveals that the polycrystalline nature of anatase TiO2 dominates the annealed NWs *** electrical characteristics of Al/TiO2-NWs/TiO2-TF/p-Si（NW device） and Al/TiO2-TF/p-Si（TF device） based on annealed samples are *** is riveting to observe a lower leakage current of ～1.32 × 10^-7 A/cm^2 at ＋1 V with interface trap density of-6.71 × 10^11eV^-1cm^-2 in NW device compared to ～2.23 × 10^-2 A/cm^2 in TF *** dominant leakage mechanism is investigated to be generally Schottky emission;however Poole-Frenkel emission also takes place during high reverse bias beyond 4 V for NWs and 3 V for TF device.

A pseudo-alloy PS45/CuAl8 composite coating was sprayed on steel substrate by high-velocity activated arc spraying (HVAA) process. Its sliding wear behavior at room temperature was evaluated by M-2000 wear tester. For comparison, a single CuAl8 coating was also prepared and tested under the same conditions. It is found that the pseudo-alloy composite coating consists of α-Cu and γ-Ni metallic matrix phases together with homogenously distributed minor Al 2 O 3 , Cr 2 O 3 oxide phases. Moreover, pseudo-alloy coating possesses much better sliding wear resistance than CuAl8 coating due to the enhanced hardness and microstructural homogenization. Fatigue wear and abrasive wear are responsible for the wear-down mechanism of the pseudo-alloy coating.

The CuInGeSe_4 thin film was deposited onto n-type single crystal silicon wafers by the electron beam deposition technique. The Au/CuInGeSe_4/n-Si/Al heterojunction device has been fabricated. The structure of the CuInGeSe_4 thin film was characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscope(SEM), and energy dispersive X-ray analysis(EDX). The dark current-voltage characteristics of the Au/CuInGeSe_4/n-Si/Al heterojunction diode have been studied at a temperature range of 303-383 K. Also, the photovoltaic properties were examined at different illumination intensities. The capacitance-voltage characteristics of the CuInGeSe_4/n-Si heterojunction were studied at different temperatures in the dark.

The ab initio generalized gradient approximation (GGA)+U study of multiferroic (La bi )b>2b>FeCrOb>6b> in pnma structure and ferri-magnetic order, including Hubbard corrections ( eV) for transition metal/rare earth d-electrons with 20 atoms cell, shows optimum local magnetic moments of (Cr , Fe equal to (−2.56, 4.14) μb and an ideal spin-down band gap of 1.54 eV. Tuned-band gap La-substituted double oxide perovskites bFCO should exhibit enhanced visible-light absorption and carrier mobility, thus could be convenient light absorbers and then efficient alternatives to wide-gap chalcopyrite absorber-based solar cells failing to achieve highest power conversion efficiencies, and even compete with their metal-organic halide perovskites counterparts.

AIM:To estimate the characteristics of Color Doppler findings and the results of hepatic radionuclide angiography (HRA) in secondary Hodgkin's hepatic ***:The research included patients with a diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma with metastatic focal lesions in the liver and *** characteristics of focal liver lesions and hemodynamic parameters were examined by pulsed and Color Doppler in the portal,hepatic and splenic veins were *** perfusion index (HPI) estimated by HRA was ***:In the majority of patients,hepatomegaly was *** were mostly hypoechoic and mixed,solitary or *** of the patients presented with dilated splenic veins and hepatofugal blood flow.A pulse wave was registered in the centre and at the margins of *** average velocity of the pulse wave was higher at the margins (P>0.05).A continuous venous wave was found only at the margins of *** was no linear correlation between lymphoma size and velocity of pulse and continuous wave (r=390,P<0.01).HPI was significantly lower in patients with lymphomas than in controls (P<0.05),pointing out increased arterial perfusion in comparison to portal ***:Color Doppler ultrasonography is a sensitive method for the detection of neovascularization in Hodgkin's hepatic lymphoma and estimation of its *** radionuclide angiography can additionally help in the assesment of vascularisation of liver lesions.

Unit commitment （UC） is one of the most important aspect of power generation in the world today. Though, there is no method to find the exact optimized solution, there exists several meta-heuristic algorithms to determine the close to exact solution. This paper proposes a novel solution to effectively determine UC and generation cost using the technique of invasive weed optimization （IWO）. The existing technique distributes the load demand among all the generating units. The method proposed here utilizes the output of UC obtained by using the Lagrangian relaxation （LR） method and calculates the required generation from only the plants that are ON discarding the OFF generator units and thereby giving a faster and more accurate response. Moreover, the results show the comparison between the LR-particle swarm optimization （PSO） and LR-IWO, and prove that the cost of generation for a 4 unit, 8 hour schedule is much less in the case of IWO when compared to PSO.

目的胰岛素/胰岛素样生长因子(IGF)信号通路(IIS)是神经细胞对过量锰的反应中的重要一环,且通路中多个信号转导激酶利用锰离子作为催化反应辅助因子。目前,尚不清楚IIS信号通路活性在锰的神经毒性发生发展过程中如何变化。本课题组研究表明,生理水平IGF与高剂量锰共同刺激能够协同增强IIS通路中的激酶活性,表现为蛋白激酶b (PKb,又称AKT)磷酸化水平显著升高。AKT磷酸化是IIS活性的一个关键指标,同时,为哺乳动物雷帕霉素靶蛋白复合体1(mTORC1)及其下游靶蛋白核糖体蛋白S6 (S6)提供激活信号。然而,大剂量急性暴露并不能完整反映锰的神经毒性在人体中的形成机制。锰暴露引起的人脑神经退行是在低剂量阈值水平长期积累的结果。因此,为了更好地确定低剂量锰暴露对IIS功能的影响,我们评估了IIS通路中各激酶活性在系列锰暴露剂量和时间下的变化。材料方法及结果在神经元细胞系STHdh中,短期(3-30小时)低剂量锰和生理剂量IGF共同处理可诱导S6 Ser235/236位点磷酸化,且在5μM浓度下即有显著升高。同时,S6相比于其上游调节因子AKT对于低浓度急性锰暴露更为敏感,表明亚毒性水平的锰对IIS和mTORC1信号转导有协同激活作用。在此基础上,我们在人源SH-SY5Y细胞系中进行了长期(40天)低剂量锰暴露实验,并通过RNA测序分析信号通路的改变。mRNA表达和通路分析结果证实,在长期暴露条件下,亚毒性浓度的锰(5ιM)仍可以显著改变AKT信号通路的mRNA表达水平。结论:综合以上结果,我们认为在低剂量锰暴露中,IIS通路是神经细胞中过量锰累积的高度敏感靶标,该通路在环境浓度相关的锰暴露引起的神经毒理机制中发挥核心作用。

In humans, specific patterns of killer immunoglobulin-like receptors （KIRs） expressed by uterine natural killer （uNK） cells are linked through HLA-C with pregnancy complications （infertility, recurrent spontaneous abortion, intrauterine growth restriction and preeclampsia）. To identify mechanisms underpinning the associations between NK cell activation and pregnancy success, pregnancies were studied in mice with genetic knockdown （KD） of the MHC-activated Ly49 receptor gene family. ***49KD pregnancies were compared to normal control ***49z29 and C57bL/6 （b6） pregnancies. At mid-pregnancy （gestation day （gd9.5））, overall uNK cell （TCRI^-CD122＋DbA＋DX5- （DbA＋DX5-）） and TCRIβ-CD122＋DbA-DX5＋（DbA-DX5＋）） frequencies in pregnant uterus were similar between genotypes. Ly49KD lowered the normal frequencies of Ly49＋ uNK cells from 90.3% to 47.8% in DbA-DX5＋ and 78.8% to 6.3% in DbA＋DX5- uNK cell subtypes. ***49KD matings frequently resulted in expanded blastocysts that did not implant （subfertility）. ***49KD mice that established pregnancy had gestational lengths and litter sizes similar to controls. ***49KD neonates, however, were heavier than controls. ***49KD implantation sites lagged in early （gd6.5） decidual angiogenesis and were deficient in mid-pregnancy （gd 10.5） spiral arterial remodelling. Ultrastructural analyses revealed that ***49KD uNK cells had impaired granulogenesis, while immunocytochemistry revealed deficient vascular endothelial cell growth factor （VEGFA） production. Perforin and IFNG expression were normal in ***49KD uNK cells. Thus, in normal mouse pregnancies, Ly49 receptor signaling must promote implantation, early decidual angiogenesis and mid-pregnancy vascular remodelling. Disturbances in these functions may underlie the reported genetic associations between human pregnancy complications and the inability of specific conceptus MHCs to engage activating KIR on uNK cells.
