The superτ-charm facility(sTCf)is an electron–positron collider proposed by the Chinese particle physics *** is designed to operate in a center-of-mass energy range from 2 to 7 GeV with a peak luminosity of 0.5×10^(35) cm^(–2)·s^(–1) or *** sTCf will produce a data sample about a factor of 100 larger than that of the presentτ-charm factory—the bEpCII,providing a unique platform for exploring the asymmetry of matter-antimatter(charge-parity violation),in-depth studies of the internal structure of hadrons and the nature of non-perturbative strong interactions,as well as searching for exotic hadrons and physics beyond the standard *** sTCf project in China is under development with an extensive r&D *** document presents the physics opportunities at the sTCf,describes conceptual designs of the sTCf detector system,and discusses future plans for detector r&D and physics case studies.

respiratory disease caused by coronavirus infection remains a global health *** several sArs-CoV-2-specific vaccines and direct-acting antivirals are available,their effcacy on emerging coronaviruses in the future,including sArs-CoV-2 variants,might be ***-targeting antivirals provide preventive and therapeutic strategies to overcome resistance and manage future outbreak of emerging *** l(CTsl)and calpain-1(CApN1)are host cysteine proteases which play crucial roles in coronaviral entrance into cells and infection-related immune ***,two peptidomimetic a-ketoamide compounds,14a and 14b,were identified as potent dual target inhibitors against CTsl and *** x-ray crystal structures of human CTsl and CApN1 in complex with 14a and 14b revealed the covalent binding of a-ketoamide groups of 14a and 14b to C25 of CTsl and C115 of *** showed potent and broad-spectrum anticoronaviral activities in vitro,and it is worth noting that they exhibited low nanomolar potency against sArs-CoV-2 and its variants of concern(VOCs)with ECso values ranging from 0.80 to 161.7 nm in various *** mechanistic exploration indicated that they exhibited anticoronaviral activity through blocking viral ***,14a and 14b exhibited good oral pharmacokinetic properties in mice,rats and dogs,and favorable safety in *** addition,both 14a and 14b treatments demonstrated potent antiviral potency against sArs-CoV-2 xbb 1.16 variant infection in a K18-hACE2 transgenic mouse *** 14b also showed effective antiviral activity against hCoV-OC43 infection in a mouse model with a final survival rate of 60%.further evaluation showed that 14a and 14b exhibited excellent antiinflammatory effects in raw 264.7 mouse macrophages and in mice with acute *** together,these results suggested that 14a and 14b are promising drug candidates,providing novel insight into developing pan-coronavirus inhibitors with anti

Through-space conjugation(TsC)is a noncovalently electronic interaction that is emerging as a potential complement to through-bond conjugation(TbC)-based strategies for constructing luminescent ***,the design of efficient luminogens based on TsC is currently challenging due to a lack of established structure-property *** is particularly true in the case of luminogens displaying aggregation-induced emission(AIE)*** this work,three terphenyl derivatives were prepared,and their photophysical properties were systemically *** was found that relative to the corresponding m-and p-linked analogues,the electronic interaction of TbC is weakened while the strength of TsC is commensurately enhanced in the constitutional isomer containing an o-linked fjordtype *** this set of luminogens,the presence of a fjord-type arrangement promotes a transformation from aggregation-caused quenching to *** investigations involving congeneric quaterphenyl and pentphenyl isomers support the universality of the fjord-type unit as a framework for synthesizing AIE-active luminogens(AIEgens)with inherent *** work not only provides a novel set of AIEgens but also establishes the utility of TsC in controlling the photophysical properties of nonconventional and twisted luminogens.

Dermatomyositis, an idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, is characterized by distinctive skin manifestations, proximal muscle weakness, and multiple organ involvement and can be accompanied by malignancies. To provide a reference for dermatologists and clinicians in other relevant fields of clinical practice, experts from the Dermatology branch of the China International Exchange and promotion Association for medical and health Care and the National Clinical research Center for Dermatologic and Immunologic Diseases developed this consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of adult dermatomyositis using Chinese and international literature and expert advice. © 2024 wolters Kluwer health. Using e^(+)e^(−)annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb^(−1)taken at the center-of-mass energy√s=3.773 GeV with the bEsIII detector,a joint amplitude analysis is performed on the decays D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η).The fit fractions of individual components are obtained,and large interferences among the dominant components of the decays D^(0)→a_(1)(1260)π,D^(0)→π(1300)π,D^(0)→ρ(770)ρ(770),and D^(0)→2(ππ)_(s)are observed in both *** the obtained amplitude model,the Cp-even fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are determined to be(75.2±1.1_(stat).±1.5_(syst.))%and(68.9±1.5_(stat).±2.4_(syst.))%,*** branching fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are measured to be(0.688±0.010_(stat.)±0.010_(syst.))%and(0.951±0.025_(stat.)±0.021_(syst.))%,*** amplitude analysis provides an important model for the binning strategy in measuring the strong phase parameters of D^(0)→4πwhen used to determine the CKm angleγ(ϕ_(3))via the b^(−)→DK^(−)decay.

The number ofψ(3686)events collected by the bEsⅢdetector during the 2021 run period is determined to be(2259.3±11.1)×10~6 by counting inclusiveψ(3686)hadronic *** uncertainty is systematic and the statistical uncertainty is ***,the numbers ofψ(3686)events collected during the 2009 and 2012run periods are updated to be(107.7±0.6)×10~6 and(345.4±2.6)×10~6,*** numbers are consistent with the previous measurements within one standard *** total number ofψ(3686)events in the three data samples is(2712.4±14.3)×10~6.

Theγ-ray emission from the w51 complex is widely acknowledged to be attributed to the interaction between the cosmic rays(Crs)accelerated by the shock of supernova remnant(sNr)w51C and the dense molecular clouds in the adjacent star-forming region,***,the maximum acceleration capability of w51C for Crs remains *** on observations conducted with the large high Altitude Air shower Observatory(lhAAsO),we report a significant detection ofγrays emanating from the w51 complex,with energies from 2 to 200 *** lhAAsO measurements,for the first time,extend theγ-ray emission from the w51 complex beyond 100 TeV and reveal a significant spectrum bending at tens of *** combining the"π^(0)-decay bump"featured data from fermi-lAT,the broadbandγ-ray spectrum of the w51 region can be well-characterized by a simple pp-collision *** observed spectral bending feature suggests an exponential cutoff at~400 TeV or a power-law break at~200 TeV in the Cr proton spectrum,most likely providing the first evidence of sNrs serving as Cr accelerators approaching the peV ***,two young star clusters within w51b could also be theoretically viable to produce the most energeticγrays observed by *** findings strongly support the presence of extreme Cr accelerators within the w51 complex and provide new insights into the origin of Galactic Crs.

polarized electron beam production via laser wakefield acceleration in pre-polarized plasma is investigated by particlein-cell *** evolution of the electron beam polarization is studied based on the Thomas±bargmann±michel±Telegdi equation for the transverse and longitudinal self-injection,and the depolarization process is found to be influenced by the injection *** the case of transverse self-injection,as found typically in the bubble regime,the spin precession of the accelerated electrons is mainly influenced by the ***,in the case of longitudinal injection in the quasi-1D regime(for example,*** et al.,***.110,135002(2013)),the direction of electron spin oscillates in the laser *** the electrons move around the laser axis,the net influence of the laser field is nearly zero and the contribution of the wakefield can be ***,an ultra-short electron beam with polarization of 99%can be obtained using longitudinal self-injection.

we report the detection of aγ-ray bubble spanning at least 100deg2 in ultra-high energy(UhE)up to a few peV in the direction of the star-forming region Cygnus x,implying the presence super peVatron(s)accelerating protons to at least 10 peV.A log-parabola form with the photon indexΓ(E)=(2.71±0.02)+(0.11±0.02)×log10(E/10 TeV)is found fitting the gamma-ray energy spectrum of the bubble *** sources,“hot spots”correlated with very massive molecular clouds,and a quasi-spherical amorphousγ-ray emitter with a sharp central brightening are observed in the *** the core of~0.5°,spatially associating with a region containing massive Ob association(Cygnus Ob2)and a microquasar(Cygnus x-3),as well as previously reported multi-TeV sources,an enhanced concentration of UhEγ-rays is observed with 2 photons at energies above 1 *** general feature of the bubble,the morphology,and the energy spectrum,are reasonably reproduced by the assumption of a particle accelerator in the core,continuously injecting protons into the ambient medium.

The microbial synthesis of sulfonolipids within the human body is likely involved in maintaining human health or causing ***,the enzymes responsible for their biosynthesis remain largely *** this study,we identified and verified the role of 3-ketocapnine reductase,the third-step enzyme,in the four-step conversion of l-phosphoserine into sulfobacin b both in vivo and in *** finding builds upon our previous research into sulfonolipid biosynthesis,which focused on the vaginal bacterium Chryseobacterium gleum Dsm 16776 and the gut bacterium Alistipes finegoldii Dsm *** comprehensive gene mapping,we demonstrate the widespread presence of potential sulfonolipid biosynthetic genes across diverse bacterial species inhabiting various regions of the human *** findings shed light on the prevalence of sulfonolipid-like metabolites within the human microbiota,suggesting a potential role for these lipid molecules in influencing the intricate biointeractions within the complex microbial ecosystem of the human body.
