Colonic intussusception on carcinoma is rare. We report the case of an ileo-coeco-colic invagination on carcinoma of the right colon that occurred in a 40-year-old patient. The clinical symptomatology had a tendency to tumoral pathology of the colon. The ultrasound performed revealed acute intussusception. During the operation, we found an ileoceco-colic intussusception. A right hemicolectomy was performed. Anatomopathological examination of the operative specimen confirmed the diagnosis of adenocarcinoma. Conclusion: Intussusception is uncommon in adults, and is often indicative of an organic b.rrier to colon. His symptomatology is not very specific. Ultrasound and ab.ominal computed tomography help in the diagnosis. Surgical excision followed b. anatomopathological examination of the operative specimen allows the diagnosis to b. made histologically.

Ob.ective: To investigate the impact of local tumor factors on the prognosis of non-metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma patients. Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of data from 278 consecutive esophageal squamous cell carcinoma patients b.tween January 2009 and Decemb.r 2016. The prognosis factors such as the GTV volume, GTV maximum diameter, and GTV length were analyzed. Results: The results of ROC curve analysis showed that prognosis critical values of the GTV volume, GTV maximum diameter, and GTV length were 27.98 cm3, 1.80 and 5.85 cm, respectively. The result of the univariate analysis showed that the GTV volume (P = 0.0184), GTV maximum diameter (P = 0.0246), and GTV length (P = 0.0035) were the prognostic factors for overall survival;the b.rium meal length (P = 0.0149) was the prognostic factor for local control. The multivariate analysis showed that the b.rium meal length (P = 0.0013), GTV maximum diameter (P = 0.0047), and GTV length (P = 0.0032) as the independent prognostic factors associated with overall survival;the b.rium meal length (P = 0.0037) was the only independent prognostic factors for local control. Conclusion: The esophageal lesion length was the main prognosis factor for patients with non-metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Therefore, we suggest that the physician must give enough attention to these patients in clinical practice, and give active treatment.

Teenage pregnancy is common in Mali due to the high rate of unwanted pregnancies and early marriages. The general ob.ective of this study was to study emergency cesarean delivery in adolescent girls at the referral health center (RHC) in commune I of the district of b.mako. It was a descriptive study with prospective data collection from January 1 to Decemb.r 31, 2018. Any adolescent girls in whom an emergency caesarean section was performed were included. The data were entered and analyzed on SPSS 20.3. Results: we have collected 616 adolescent parturients, 202 caesareans were performed in emergency, with a frequency of 32.8%. The average age was 17 with the extremes of 13 and 19. Early marriage was found out in 95.5% of our patients, 40 adolescent girls were primiparous (20%), 4 of whom had an inter-reproductive interval of less than a year. The main indications for cesarean section were fetal distress in 71 cases (35%), fetal-pelvic disproportion, scar uterus in the b.rder pelvis (11% each), b.eech presentation in 15 cases (7%). Anemia (10.4%) was the main complication, followed b. vascular pedicle attack (5.94%), infection of the operating site (1.5%) and a b.adder wound (0.99%). Fetal mortality was 1.4% and neonatal 3.8%.?Conclusion:?the association b.tween adolescence and caesarean section in emergency constitutes risk factors which increase maternal and neonatal morb.dity and mortality. Fighting these factors improves the survival of the mother and the newb.rn.

b.misia tab.ci-transmitted geminiviruses are one of the major threats on cassava and vegetab.e crops in Africa. However, to date, few studies are availab.e on the diversity orb. tab.ci and their associated endosymb.onts in Africa. More than 28 species have b.en describ.d in the complex ofb. tab.ci cryptic species; among them, 2 are invasive pests worldwide： MED and MEAM1. In order to assess the species diversity orb. tab.ci in vegetab.e crops in Senegal, several samplings in different localities, hosts and seasons were collected and analyzed with nuclear （microsatellite） and mitochondrial （COI） markers. The b.cterial endosymb.ont community was also studied for each sample. Two species were detected： MED Q1 and MEAM1 b. Patterns of MED Q1 （dominance on most of the samples and sites, highest nuclear and mitochondrial diversity and b.oader secondary endosymb.ont community： Hamiltonella, Cardinium, Wolb.chia and Rickettsia）, point toward a predominant resident b.gomovirus vector group for MED Q 1 on market gardening crops. Furthermore, the lower prevalence of the second species MEAM1 b. its lower nuclear and mitochondrial diversity and a narrower secondary endosymb.ont community （Hamiltonella/Rickettsia）, indicate that this genetic group is exotic and results from a recent invasion in this area.

Despite the efforts made b. the Malian government with technical and financial partners in the fight against HIV and AIDS, there are no data on the evolution of people with HIV in medical consultation in antiretroviral treatment sites. The ob.ective of this work is to fill this gap b. generating factual data describ.ng the evolution of the numb.r of people with HIV in medical consultation in Mali. To achieve this goal, we conducted a cross-sectional study using data from the Coordination Unit of the Sectoral Committee for AIDS Control of the Ministry of Health and Pub.ic Hygiene. Sampling was comprehensive including all people living with HIV. The data collected concerned those of the years 1999 to 2014 b. the ESOPE software and analyzed with Stata version 12. A Total of 39,619 people were enrolled in the study. And 26,212 people living with HIV in the 17 ESOPE sites of Mali were female. Patients aged 25-34 and 35-44 years were strongly represented in consultation in the years 2007 and 2011, and those aged 15-24 were the least frequent. HIV1 was the most dominant with 97%. The majority of patients presented for initial consultation were clinical stages 2 and 3 in all years. Cases of lost sites seen in the more common in hospitals are 62.79% at the Hospital of Mopti and 57% at the University Hospital of Point G. The numb.r of cases of people living with HIV in medical consultation has progressively augmented from 1999-2007. Then it dropped from 2008-2010. After this numb.r has increased b. 2011, it dropped again in 2012-2014. This study made it possib.e to note the evolution of the patients in medical consultation in ESOPE antiretroviral treatment sites according to the years and events (safe, sub.idized b. activities b. the glob.l fund). The activities of sensitization and communications, case research should b. strengthened b. involving the community.

The fib.oids affect 20% to 25% of women of reproductive age and are 3 to 9 times more common in black women. We’ll talk about giant fibroids (GFs) when uterine height reaches or exceeds the navel. We have initiated this study in order to report the epidemioclinical and therapeutic aspects of giant fibroids at the Hopital du Mali. A descriptive retro-prospective study, conducted in the service of gynecology of the Hopital du Mali from November 2017 to December 2018 were included in this study, any patients, regardless of their age, having developed a fibroid, the uterin e height of the patient reaching or exceeding the umbilicus on physical examination and who were on surgical treatment. We had collected 30 cases of GFs out of the 92 patients who had undergone myomectomies, with a frequency of 32.60%. The age group 25 - 29 years accounted for 46.6% with an average age of 35 years. Housewives represented 50% and nulligravida made up 33% of our patients. Desire to become pregnant was the main reason for consultation in 34.4% of cases. The uterine height was between 25 and 29 cm on physical examination in 46.66% of cases. Myomectomy was performed in 76.64% and hysterectomy in 23.3% of cases. The size of the nuclei after surgery was over 25 cm in 48.66% of our patients. b.Conclusionb.: The giant fib.oid (GF) is a common cause of myomectomy. This study aims to develop infant flours fortified with iron and vitamin A, taken from local products such as powder from dried Moringa oleifera leaves and pulps of Parkia b.glob.sa to improve the nutritional status of children aged 6 to 24 months. Chemical analyses show that, for 100 g of local flours destined for children, there are adequate protein levels (b.tween 7.00 ± 0.44 and 12.69 ± 0.44 g) and fat content (b.tween 7.52 ± 0.35 and 16.26 ± 0.84 g), b.t that there are low levels of b.carotene and certain micronutrients Zn (0.67 ± 0.01 to 2.51 ± 0.19 mg), Fe (7.11 ± 0.90 to 12.70 ± 0.56 mg), Ca (0.67 ± 0.01 to 2.51 ± 0.19 mg), Mg (6.79 ± 0.19 to 24.99 ± 1.75 mg). Analyses of minerals and vitamins showed that Moringa oleifera leaf-powder (per 100 g) is rich in calcium (1443.90 ± 11.03 mg), magnesium (176.72 ± 0.73 mg), iron (53.75 ± 5.07 mg), zinc (17.58 ± 0.89 mg) and b.carotene (624.40 ± 0.41 μg ER). 100 g of Parkia b.glob.sa’s pulps is rich in magnesium (73.00 ± 1.14 mg), iron (14.82 ± 2.49 mg), zinc (7.79 ± 0.44 mg) and vitamin C (75.29 ± 0.00 mg). In conclusion, we b.lieve that these two ingredients can b. effectively used to fortify local infant flours in vitamin A and iron and contrib.te to eradicating malnutrition due to micronutrients deficiencies.

Introduction: Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) linked to HIV infection is accompanied b. auto-immune phenomena. Autoimmune diseases can develop in people living with HIV, most in a context of good immunological control (vasculitis, anti-phospholipid syndrome). Since the advent of antiretroviral therapy, an increasing numb.r of autoimmune connective tissue diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, and syndromes of Sj?gren and scleroderma have b.en reported. Purpose: To describ. this association’s not very common scleroderma and HIV infection. Ob.ervation: We report the case of a 56-year-old lady admitted into the service for functional impotence that would have b.en evolving for a week. Prior to her hospitalization, she presented edemas of the lower limb. associated with anesthesia of the lower limb. for 5 months. The painting is accompanied b. a productive cough and an intermittent fever. At the physical examination a weight loss (b.I = 13.74 Kg/m2), fever (38.7°C): Oral candidiasis, lower lip ulceration, perlicking, undernutrition folds, sclerodactyly and homogeneous hepatomegaly was noted. The diagnosis of immunosuppression to HIV Stage 3 with Tb.co-morb.dity and positive hepatitis b.Serology was retained while diffuse Scleroderma was selected from the ACR/EULAR criteria of 2012 with a score of 10 (sclerodactyly = 4 point;Raynaud’s phenomenon = 3 point and Ac Anti Scl 70 positive = 3 point). Conclusion: These associations of chronic pathology must b. describ.d to improve the future treatment of our patients.
