An experiment arranged in a randomized complete b.ock design w.th three replications w.s conducted on a Lexington soil (fine-silty,mixed,active,thermic,Ultic Hapludalfs) and a Loring soil (fine-silty,mixed,active,thermic,Oxyaquic Fragiudalfs) in Mississippi from Septemb.r 1997 to Septemb.r 2000 on 18 runoff plots under natural rainfall condition to study the phosphorus (P) dynamics in poultry litter amended soils under three management systems comb.ning tillage and planting date treatments to identify effective management practices in southern *** management systems in the study w.re:1) tillage in the fall prior to litter application follow.d b. a delayed planting of fall forages (CT-DP);2) tillage follow.d b. immediate planting of the fall forage w.th sub.equent litter application (CT-IP);and 3) no-till w.th planting prior to litter application (NT-IP).The results indicated that there w.s significant increase in soil P after 3 years of poultry litter application for b.th Lexington and Loring soils (P b.sed on P b.dget analysis,the majority of P from poultry litter application (> 90%),w.s accumulated in b.th *** Loring soil,solub.e P mass in the runoff w.s significantly higher from NT-IP than from CT-DP and CT-IP over the entire study period (P b.th soils,there w.re no significant differences in sediment P mass b.tw.en management *** Loring soil,CT-DP and CT-IP w.re effective management practices to mitigate negative effects due to poultry litter application.

1名70多岁的男性患者,近8个月来出现双眼进行性视力下降。起初,他在明亮的环境下视力正常,但在光线昏暗时出现视力减退。此后,其周边视野逐渐变暗,最后,在明亮或昏暗的条件下均表现严重视力减退。该患者有先天性耳聋,通过手语交流,既往没有视力问题。其父母和两个兄弟姐妹也有先天性耳聋,但没有家庭成员有视力障碍。在过去1年中,尽管患者饮食健康均衡,但其体重减轻约13 kg,伴有长期腹部不适,并经常排泄苍白色不成形大便。既往检查提示小细胞性贫血,铁蛋白降低(14μg/L,正常范围33~490μg/L)。CT结肠成像和胸部X线检查结果正常,患者正等待门诊行上消化道内窥镜检查。患者唯一的用药史是5年前诊断巨细胞性贫血后应用维生素b.2注射液。体格检查示:患者双眼视力下降至只能看清手指,视野严重缩窄(图1)。瞳孔反射正常,眼底检查也正常。腹部查体未触及肿大的器官或浅表淋巴结。血液检查显示患者存在贫血及多种维生素缺乏(表1)。

w. study the stab.lity of an interface b.tw.en tw. fluids of different densities flow.ng parallel to each other in the presence of a transverse magnetic field. A simple theory b.sed on fully developed flow.approximations is used to de-rive the dispersion relation for the grow.h rate of KHI. w. replace the effect of b.undary layer w.th beavers and Joseph slip condition. The dispersion relation is derived using suitab.e b.undary and surface conditions and results are discussed graphically. The magnetic field is found to b. stab.lizing and the influence of the various parameters of the prob.em on the interface stab.lity is thoroughly analyzed. These are favorab.e to control the surface instab.lities in many practical applications discussed in this paper.

Effect of Magnetic Field on Kelvin-Helmholtz Instab.lity in a Couple-Stress Fluid Layer b.unded Ab.ve b. a Porous Layer and b.low.b. a Rigid Surface

Kelvin-Helmholtz instab.lity (KHI) appears in stratified tw.-fluid flow.at surface. w.en the relative velocity is higher than the critical relative velocity, the grow.h of w.ves occurs. It is found that magnetic field has a stab.lization effect w.ereas the b.oyancy force has a destab.lization effect on the KHI in the presence of sharp inter-face. The RT instab.lity increases w.th w.ve numb.r and flow.shear, and acts much like a KHI w.en destab.lizing effect of sheared flow.dominates. It is show. that b.th of ab.ation velocity and magnetic field have stab.lization effect on RT instab.lity in the presence of continued interface. In this paper, w. study the effect of magnetic field on Kelvin-Helmholtz instab.lity (KHI) in a Couple-stress fluid layer ab.ve b. a porous layer and b.low.b. a rigid surface. A simple theory b.sed on fully developed flow.approximations is used to derive the dispersion relation for the grow.h rate of KHI. w. replace the effect of b.undary layer w.th beavers and Joseph slip condition at the rigid surface. The dispersion relation is derived using suitab.e b.undary and surface conditions and results are discussed graphically. The stab.lization effect of magnetic field takes place for w.ole w.veb.nd and b.comes more significant for the short w.velength. The grow.h rate decreases as the density scale length increases. The stab.lization effect of magnetic field is more significant for the short density scale length.
