The current study was perf.rmed to evaluate the liver f.nction status as well as molecular characterization of.the recovered worms in rats experimentally inf.cted with f. hepatica. Sixteen male Wister rats aged 30 days were randomly allocated into two groups (n = 8). The f.rst group was inf.cted orally with 15 viab.e encysted metacercaria of.f. hepatica per animal. The other group was kept non-inf.cted (control group). At zero time (b.f.re inf.ction), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th weeks post-inf.ction (WPI), b.ood and serum samples were collected via puncture of.retro-orb.tal plexus of.veins f.om each rat. Serum enzyme level (AST and ALT) and total protein were measured, and the serum protein prof.le was carried out using agarose gel electrophoresis. During the period of.the experiment, serum ALT and AST activities and serum total glob.lins signif.cantly increased while serum total proteins and alb.min markedly decreased in the inf.cted group. On the 14th WPI, the data of.the electropherogram showed that glob.lin f.actions (α1-, β- and γ-glob.lin) levels were signif.cantly increased while α2-glob.lin was markedly decreased in the inf.cted group. The molecular analysis conf.rmed the amplif.cation of.the ITS1, ITS2 and NDI genes of.f. hepatica recovered f.om the inf.cted liver of.rats with amplicon sizes of.630, 510 and 560 b., respectively. Sequencing of.the amplif.ed ITS gene resulted in the determination of.3 strains (PP108836, PP108837, and PP108838). Also, analysis of.the ITS2 gene resulted in ob.aining 3 isolates under the accession numb.rs (PP109065, PP109066, and PP109067). In conclusion, f.sciolosis in the rat model is suitab.e f.r routine experimental inf.ctions and caused a pronounced liver dysf.nction with discharging of.the f.sciola eggs in the f.eces and the development of.adult stages in the b.le ducts. f.rthermore, molecular techniques are a sensitive

The a.m.of.the present study was to determine the prevalence of.b.vine cysticercosis in b.th cattle and b.f.loas, in Egypt and to assess the cysticidal ef.icacy of.b.lanites aegyptiaca f.uits (b. aegyptiaca) and moringa oleif.ra seeds (m. oleif.ra) extracts in experimentally inf.cted mice. The study detected the level of.tumor necrosis f.ctor (TNf.α) to monitor the immune and inf.a.m.tory responses of.experimentally inf.cted mice. Through meat inspection, a total numb.r of.2125 male b.vine, 2 to 5 years old, (1125 cattle and 1000 b.f.loes) were examined under the authority of.Alb.atine and Alwaraq of.icial ab.ttoirs in Cairo Governorate, Egypt covering the period extended f.om march 2022 to April 2023. The overall prevalence of.the disease among b.vine was 7.8% (6.31% of.cattle and 9.5% of.b.f.loes). b.sides, b. aegyptiaca and m. oleif.ra extracts showed cysticidal activity in experimentally inf.cted mice. A decrease in the numb.rs of.cysticerci was f.und in all treated mice groups, and up to 88% reduction was achieved in the b. aegyptiaca-treated group;higher than that was recorded in b.th m. oleif.ra (72.23%) and alb.ndazole-treated ones (80.56%). Postmortem f.ndings proved that m. oleif.ra and b. aegyptiaca reduced cysticerci numb.rs comparab.e to a commercial anthelmintic. The study showed a signif.cant decrease (P 0.001) in TNf.α levels af.er trea.m.nt with b.lanites and moringa extracts, compared with the untreated control and the alb.ndazole-treated groups.

The identif.cation of.jets originating f.om quarks and gluons,of.en ref.rred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses perf.rmed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard model measurements and searches f.r new particles decaying to quarks of.en rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describ.s the measurement of.the ef.iciencies of.quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collab.ration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of.140 f.0}(-1) collected b. the ATLAS *** taggers with high perf.rmances in rejecting jets f.om gluon over jets f.om quarks are studied:one tagger is b.sed on requirements on the numb.r of.inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other comb.nes several jet sub.tructure ob.ervab.es using a b.osted decision tree.a.m.thod is estab.ished to determine the quark/gluon f.action in data,b. using quark/gluon-enriched sub.amples def.ned b. the jet *** in tagging ef.iciency b.tween data and simulation are provided f.r jets with transverse momentum b.tween 500 GeV and 2 TeV and f.r multiple tagger working points.

Olive productivity should b. improved through stimulating nutrition,particularly under poor f.rtility ***,the ob.ective of.this study was to assess the ef.icacy of.applying organic and b.o-f.rtilizers on the physiological growth,yield and f.uit quality of.olive trees under newly recla.m.d poor-f.rtility sandy soil in an arid *** a f.eld experiment carried out at El-Qantara,North Sinai,Egypt over two consecutive seasons(2019-2020 and 2020-2021),olive Kalamata trees were evaluated under three organic f.rtilizer trea.m.nts alone or in comb.nation with three b.o-f.rtilizers *** f.rtilizer was applied as goat manure(16.8 kg/tree/year),or olive pomace(8.5 kg/tree/year)in mid-Decemb.r of.each season *** *** b.o-f.rtilizers were applied as N-f.xing b.cteria(150 g/tree)was inculated in early march of.each season,or amino acid mixture(1.5%)was applied three times,at 70%of.f.ll b.oom,21 days af.er f.ll b.oom,and a.m.nth later in comparison to a non-f.rtilized trees(control).The cultivar used was Kalamata,a dual-purpose cultivar f.r oil and tab.e olives whose value increases when processed as tab.e *** results indicated that the goat manure f.llowed b. olive pomace signif.cantly enhanced photosynthetic pigments(chlorophyll a,b.and carotenoids),leaf.mineral contents(N,P,K,Ca.m. and f.),tree canopy volume,numb.r of.f.owers per inf.orescence,numb.r of.inf.orescences per shoot,initial f.uit set,f.uit *** f.uit quality,f.uit length and width,f.uit weight,and total f.uit yield was increased compared to the non-f.rtilized ***,The b.o-f.rtilizer N-f.xing b.cteria f.llowed b. the amino acid mixture signif.cantly improved all of.the af.rementioned ***,it is recommended,b.th environmentally and economically to utilize organic and b.o-f.rtizers,particularly goat manure comb.ned with N-f.xing b.cteria,in low-f.rtility soil to sustain olive production as well as reducing mineral f.rti

This study a.m.d to evaluate the anti-hyperglycemic and antioxidant role of.Actinidia deliciosa(kiwif.uits)aqueous extract in streptozotocin-treated *** were distrib.ted into;control,*** aqueous extract(ADAE;1 g/kg orally),streptozotocin(STZ;50 mg/kg,i.p,single dose),and STZ plus ADAE,*** showed that ADAE had high antioxidant and radical scavenging *** in b.ood sugar level,lipid peroxidation(LPO),kidney f.nction b.omarkers,and perturb.tions in hematological parameters were ob.erved in diab.tic ***,enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants,protein content,and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)activity ***,histological,immunohistochemical alpha-smooth muscle actin immunoreactivity(α-SmA-ir)and histochemical(collagen,total protein,DNA,and RNA)alterations were ob.erved in rat ***,STZ produced upregulation of.inf.a.m.tory associated genes(tumor necrosis f.ctor-alpha;TNf.αand transf.rming growth f.ctorβ1;TGf.β1)and triggered apoptosis b. upregulating apoptotic related gene[b.l2-associated X protein(b.x)]and downregulating anti-apoptotic related gene b.cell lymphoma-2(b.l-2)b.sed on real-time PCR ***,diab.tic rats a.m.nistered with ADAE showed signif.cant restoration in LPO,antioxidant status,and b.ochemical indices b.sides tissue architecture,and genes improvement regarding STZ ***,*** has a valuab.e ameliorative inf. uence and can restore glucose levels and improve kidney dysf.nction in diab.tic rats.

The a.m.of.the study was to evaluate the b.havioral signs of.diab.tic rats af.er trea.m.nt b. Artemisia herb.-alb. (AHA) and insulin. method: b.sed on the induction of.diab.tes in wistar rats b. intraperitoneal (I/P) injection of.60 mg/kg streptozotocin (STZ), then treated b. AHA as 20 mg (I/P) and insulin sub.utaneously (S/C). The samples of.rats were: 1) Diab.tic control, 2) Injected with insulin, 3) Injected with AHA, 4) Non diab.tic rats, which were f.stered f.r 21 day;then weighted and the b.havioral tests were conducted. Results: The b.ard hole tests (b.T) showed that: the induced diab.tes reduced the cognition of.the rats in view of.Latency of.the f.rst Head Dipping (Lf.D) in seconds, numb.r of.head dipping (NHD) and duration of.head dipping (DHD) b. 49.3%, while it’s improved in AHA and insulin treated rats b. 52% and 69% in average respectively. The exploratory activity reduced in diab.tic rats b. 36%, while AHA and Insulin treated rats increased b. 53% and 72% respectively. The rearing test showed an increase of.anxiety among diab.tic in f.rm of.duration of.rearing, numb.r of.rearing and time spend in center b. 51.7% in average respectively, while the anxiety reduced af.er trea.m.nt b. AHA and insulin b. 39% and 47.3% in average respectively. Also the diab.tes increased the depression state b. 106%, while the trea.m.nt b. AHA and insulin reduced the depression state b. 77% and 88% respectively. And VPT showed that: motor impairment occurred in diab.tic cases and improved af.er AHA and insulin trea.m.nt.

Chickpea yield is decreasing day b. day due to drought stress,which could b. an immense risk f.r f.ture f.od security in developing *** practices could b. the most excellent approach to diminish loss due to this ab.otic *** current research work was designed to explore the tolerance reaction of.chickpea genotypes against management practices,through morphological and b.ochemical parameters and evaluate yield perf.rmance across drought prone location of.*** genotypes b.-6048,b.-6045,b.-6090,b.-6092 and eight management practices,e.g.,severe water stress(SWS),i.e.,without irrigation,10 cm thick mulching with rice straw(mRS),10 cm thick mulching with water hyacinth(mWH),organic amendment through compost(OAC)@3 t ha−1,organic amendment through cow dung@5 t ha−1(OACD),organic amendment through poultry manure@2 t ha−1(Oa.m.,inorganic amendment through proline application(IAPA)as f.liar spray and 16 h hydro-priming(HP).The study revealed that the genotypes b.-6048 showed excellent perf.rmance b.cause of.the highest chlorophyll,carotenoids,phosphorus,potassium,proline and protein *** highest pod numb.r plant−1 also increased seed yield in *** management practices,IAPA increased relative water content,carotenoids,leaf.phosphorus and potassium compared to other management practices and severe water ***,b.-6084 was selected as b.st genotype b.cause of.a signif.cant increase in chlorophyll a and b.carotenoids,and relative water content with *** top perf.rming genotypes can b. used f.r releasing variety and cultivated f.r sustainab.e production in drought prone area of.b.ngladesh.
