Accurate software cost estimation in Glob.l Software Development(GSD)remains challenging due to reliance on historical data and expert *** models,such as the Constructive Cost Model(COCOMO II),rely heavily on historical and accurate *** addition,expert judgment is required to set many input parameters,which can introduce sub.ectivity and variab.lity in the estimation ***,there is a need to improve the current GSD models to mitigate reliance on historical data,sub.ectivity in expert judgment,inadequate consideration of GSD-b.sed cost drivers and limited integration of modern technologies with cost *** study introduces a novel hyb.id model that synergizes the COCOMO II with Artificial Neural Networks(ANN)to address these *** proposed hyb.id model integrates additional GSD-b.sed cost drivers identified through a systematic literature review and further vetted b. industry *** article compares the effectiveness of the proposedmodelwith state-of-the-artmachine learning-b.sedmodels for software cost *** the NASA 93 dataset b. adopting twenty-six GSD-b.sed cost drivers reveals that our hyb.id model achieves superior accuracy,outperforming existing *** findings indicate the potential of comb.ning COCOMO II,ANN,and additional GSD-b.sed cost drivers to transform cost estimation in GSD.

b.ckground: b.thermal caloric irrigation, video head impulse test(vHIT), and rotational testing are commonly used to assess peripheral vestib.lar function, b.t the relative clinical utility of each test in differentiating patients with peripheral vestib.lopathy is ***: To determine whether(1) the comb.nation of two or more vestib.lar tests enhances diagnostic utility over a single test;(2) ab.ormal test results on vestib.lar tests correlate with one ***: Retrospective analysis of data collected from multidisciplinary vestib.lar clinics at two academic medical centers from 2016 to ***: 150 patients(54.10 ± 15.09 years, 88 females) were included. No individual test was significantly b.tter at predicting the presence of peripheral vestib.lar damage(p > 0.05). vHIT test results improved significantly when comb.ned with either the caloric test(p = 0.007) or rotary chair test(p = 0.039). Caloric and rotational testing had high sensitivity(74.65% and 76.06%, respectively) and specificity(83.54% and 78.48%, respectively). vHIT demonstrated excellent specificity(89.87%) b.t poor sensitivity(47.89%). Caloric, vHIT, and rotary chair tests results did not correlate with one another(p > 0.05).Conclusions: Vestib.lar function tests have comparab.e diagnostic utility, yet each offers unique advantages. Caloric and rotational testing may b. b.st suited for screening peripheral damage and vHIT may function ideally as a confirmatory test.

Ob.ective:To evaluate the anti-ulcer activity and acute toxicity ofFicus religiosa(F. religiosa)leaf ethanolic extract in animal ***:Anti-ulcer activity ofF. religiosaethanolicextract(250 and 500 mg/kg b.dy weight) was studied on stress induced ulcer animal *** was used as standard. The anti-ulcer activity ofF. religiosawas evaluated with thehelp of ulcer area and histopatholgical examination. Preliminary phyto-chemical screeningand acute toxicity studies ofF. religiosaalso carried ***:Results showed that theextract treatments prevented ulcer area and gastric secretion in a dose-dependent *** of 2000 mg/kg extract did not show any acute toxicity in alb.no mice. Preliminaryphytochemical analysis identified the presence of flavonoids in the ethanolic extract ofF. ***:The extract is non-toxic even at relatively high concentrations. The anti-ulceractivity is prob.b.y due to the presence of flavanoids.

We propose to investigate the THz field generation using nonlinear mixing mechanism of laser b.at wave with inclined rippled density *** laser pulses with frequencies(ω_(1),ω_(2)) and wave vectors(k_(1),k_(2)) co-propagate and resultant laser b.at wave forms at b.at frequency(ω_(1)-ω_(2)).Laser b.at wave imparts a nonlinear force on the amb.ent electrons and pushes them outward with nonlinear velocity v_(NL).Coupling of induced density perturb.tion and nonlinear velocity v_(NL)generates nonlinear currents at laser b.at frequency that further generates electromagnetic field E_((ω_(1)-ω_(2))) in terahertz(THz)*** the present scheme,density ripples are introduced at an angle with respect to laser propagation and flat Gaussian index(f) is introduced in laser field profile that transform curved top of Gaussian field envelope into flat top field *** comb.ned effect of flat laser pulses with inclined density ripples in plasmas shows 10-fold enhancement in THz field amplitude when flat-Gaussian index(f) varies from 1 to ***,the THz field intensifies when density ripples inclination increases upto a certain angle and then decreases.

In this study, hyb.id composites b.sed on carb.n fab.ic and epoxy (C/Ep) were fab.icated b. hand lay-up method followed b. compression moulding. The C/Ep with optimum carb.n fib.r (60 wt%) was chosen as a reference material, and to it, the metallic nanoparticles like aluminum (Al) and zinc (Zn) of different wt% (0.5 and 1.0) were included as secondary fillers. To understand the synergism effect of these hyb.id reinforcements, mechanical properties and trib.logical b.havior of composites were studied. From the test results, it was proved that hyb.idization improved the mechanical and trib.logical properties. The C/Ep consisting of 0.5 wt% Zn and Al showed higher tensile properties in comparison with all other fab.icated composites. Increase in flexural strength and flexural modulus also ob.erved as the filler content increased in C/Ep composite. Higher impact strength is noted at 1 wt% Zn filled C/Ep composite. Wear test data revealed that 0.5 wt% Zn in C/Ep has got superior wear resistance. Wear mechanisms were discussed using scanning electron micrographs of selected worn surfaces of the composites.

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of different levels of dietary phytase supplementation in the layer feed on egg production performance,egg shell quality and expression of osteopontin(OPN) and calb.ndin(CALb.) ***-five White Leghorn layers at 23 weeks of age were randomly divided into 5 groups consisting of a control diet with 0.33% non-phytate phosphorus(NPP) and 4 low phosphorus(P) diets: 2 diets(T1 and T2) with 0.24% NPP t 250 FTU/kg lab.ratory produced phytase or commercial phytase and another 2 diets(T3 and T4) with 0.16% NPP t 500 FTU/kg lab.ratory produced phytase or commercial phytase with complete replacement of inorganic *** results indicated that there were no significant differences(P > 0.05) in egg production performance and quality of egg during the first 2 months of ***,in next 2 months,a significant drop in egg production and feed intake was ob.erved in b.rds fed diets with low P and 500 FTU/kg supplementation of lab.ratory produced *** gene was up-regulated whereas the CALb. gene was down regulated in all phytase treatment groups irrespective of the source of *** current data demonstrated that250 FTU/kg supplementation of lab.ratory produced phytase with 50% less NPP supplementation and500 FTU/kg supplementation of commercial phytase even without NPP in diet can maintain the egg *** up-regulation of OPN and down regulation of CALb. in egg shell gland in the entire phytase treated group b.rds irrespective of the source of enzymes is indicative of the changes in P b.oavailab.lity at this site.
