Plastic crystal neopentyl glycol(NPG)exhib.ts colossal b.rocaloric effect with high entropy ***,their application is restricted in several aspects,such as low thermal conductivity,sub.tantial supercooling effect,and poor springb.ck *** this work,multi-walled carb.n nanotub.s(MWCNTs)with ultra-high thermal conductivity and high mechanical strength were selected for performance enhancement of *** optimal mixing ratio was determined to b. NPG with 3 wt%MWCNTs composites,which showed a 6K reduction in supercooling without affecting the phase change ***,comprehensive performance of the composites with optimal mixing ratio was compared with pure NPG At 40 MPa,390J·K^(-1)·kg^(-1)change in entropy and 9.9 K change in temperature were ***,the minimum driving pressure required to achieve reversib.e b.rocaloric effect was reduced b. 19.2%.In addition,the thermal conductivity of the composite was increased b. approximately 28%,significantly reducing the heat exchange time during a b.rocaloric refrigeration *** importantly,ultra-high pressure release rate resulted in a73.7%reduction in the springb.ck time of the composites,offering new opportunities for the recovery of expansion work.

The realization of high‐efficiency,reversib.e,stab.e,and safe Li‐O2 b.tteries is severely hindered b. the large overpotential and side reactions,especially at high rate ***,rational design of cathode catalysts with high activity and stab.lity is crucial to overcome the terrib.e issues at high current ***,we report a surface engineering strategy to adjust the surface electron structure of b.ron(b.‐doped PtNi nanoalloy on carb.n nanotub.s(PtNib.CNTs)as an efficient b.functional cathodic catalyst for high‐rate and long‐life Li‐O2 ***,the Li‐O2 b.tteries assemb.ed with as‐prepared PtNib.CNT catalyst exhib.t ultrahigh discharge capacity of 20510 mA·h/g and extremely low overpotential of 0.48 V at a high current density of 1000 mA/g,b.th of which outperform the most reported Pt‐b.sed catalysts ***,our Li‐O2 b.tteries offer excellent rate capab.lity and ultra‐long cycling life of up to 210 cycles at 1000 mA/g under a fixed capacity of 1000 mA·h/g,which is two times longer than those of Pt@CNTs and PtNi@***,it is revealed that surface engineering of PtNi nanoalloy via b.doping can efficiently tailor the electron structure of nanoalloy and optimize the adsorption of oxygen species,consequently delivering excellent Li‐O2 b.ttery ***,this strategy of regulating the nanoalloy b. doping nonmetallic elements will pave an avenue for the design of high‐performance catalysts for metal‐oxygen b.tteries.

With the emergence of pre-trained models,current neural networks are ab.e to give task performance that is comparab.e to ***,we know little ab.ut the fundamental working mechanism of pre-trained models in which we do not know how they approach such performance and how the task is solved b. the *** example,given a task,human learns from easy to hard,whereas the model learns ***,difficulty-insensitive learning leads to great success in natural language processing(NLP),b.t little attention has b.en paid to the effect of text difficulty in *** propose a human learning matching index(HLM Index)to investigate the effect of text *** results show:1)LSTM gives more human-like learning b.havior than ***,UID-SuperLinear gives the b.st evaluation of text difficulty among four text difficulty *** nine tasks,some tasks’performance is related to text difficulty,whereas others are not.2)Model trained on easy data performs b.st in b.th easy and medium test data,whereas trained on hard data only performs well on hard test data.3)Train the model from easy to hard,leading to quicker convergence.

The deployab.e telescopic b.om,whose mass and stiffness play crucial roles,is extensively used in the design of space-deployab.e ***,the most existing optimal design that neglects the influence of the locking mechanisms in b.om joints cannot raise the whole stiffness while reducing the b.om *** tackle this challenge,a novel optimization model,which utilizes the arrangement of the locking mechanisms to achieve synchronous improvement of the stiffness and mass,is *** proposed optimization model incorporates a novel joint stiffness model developed b.sed on an equivalent parallel mechanism that enab.es the consideration of multiple internal stiffness factors of the locking mechanisms and tub.s,resulting in more accurate representations of the joint stiffness *** analysis shows that the proposed stiffness model achieves more than at least 11% improved accuracy compared with existing ***,case verification shows that the proposed optimization model can improve stiffness while effectively reducing mass,and it is applied in b.om optimization design.

b.ron−nitrogen doped multiple resonance(b.-MR)emitters,characterized b. b.N covalent b.nds,offer distinctive advantages as pivotal b.ilding b.ocks for facile access to novel MR emitters featuring narrowb.nd spectra and high ***,there remains a scarcity of exploration concerning synthetic methods and structural derivations to expand the lib.ary of novel b.-MR ***,we present the synthesis of a b.-MR emitter,tCz[b.N]N,through a one-pot b.rylation reaction directed b. the amine group,achieving an impressive yield of 94%.The emitter is decorated b. incorporating two 3,6-di-tb.tylcarb.zole(tCz)units into a b.N covalent b.nd doped b.-MR parent molecule via para-C−π−D and para-N−π−D *** peripheral decoration strategy enhances the reverse intersystem crossing process and shifts the emission b.nd towards the pure green region,peaking at 526 nm with a narrowb.nd full-width at half maximum(FWHM)of 41 ***,organic light emitting diodes(OLEDs)employing this emitter achieved a maximum external quantum efficiency(EQEmax)value of 27.7%,with minimal efficiency *** at a practical luminance of 1000 cd·m^(−2),the device maintains a high EQE value of 24.6%.

Association of Hypertension and Plant-b.sed Dietary Patterns on Cognitive Impairment: A Nationwide Cohort Study in China

This study investigated the association of hypertension with cognitive impairment and determined whether b.tter adherence to plant-b.sed diet (Pb.) patterns may modify the association. We analyzed 4485 elderly individuals with normal cognition at b.seline from the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (2011-2018). Cognitive function was assessed b. the Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE)， and cognitive impairment was defined as an MMSE score b.low 18 points. Diet patterns were assessed using the overall plant-b.sed diet index (PDI)， healthful plant-b.sed diet index (hPDI)， and unhealthful plant-b.sed diet index (uPDI) derived from a simplified food frequency questionnaire (FFQ). b.ood pressure was measured through physical examination. Cox proportional hazard regression and restricted cub.c spline were performed. Participants with hypertension had an increased risk of cognitive impairment compared with normal group. The associations b.tween hypertension and cognitive impairment were more pronounced among participants with lower PDI than those with higher PDI， among participants with lower hPDI than those with higher hPDI， and among participants with higher uPDI than those with lower uPDI. A healthful Pb. pattern may attenuate hypertension-induced cognitive impairment， while an unhealthful Pb. pattern may exacerb.te hypertension-induced cognitive impairment in elderly. Adherence to healthful Pb. pattern could b. used to prevent or mitigate adverse neurological effects in the hypertensive population.

Inspired b. b.llpoint pen, an optical b.osensor is developed for detection of Salmonellausing a mechanical step rotator with a dropper to greatly simplify operation, a high gradient magnetic field with immune magnetic nanob.ads to specifically separate b.cteria, and immune gold@platinum nanozymes with a smartphone to sensitively detect b.cteria. First, the preloaded b.cterial sample is drawn b. the dropper to react with the immune magnetic nanob.ads through repeated squeezing and releasing of the dropper, and the rotator is successively rotated and the dropper is repeatedly squeezed and released to achieve mixing of the b.cteria, magnetic nanob.ads and gold@platinum nanozymes, followed b. magnetic separation to remove the b.ckground. Then, the conjugates are eff ectively washed with skim milk and ultrapure water, and the sub.trate are rapidly catalyzed into the product. Finally, the b.ue product is photographed and analyzed using a smartphone to ob.ain the Salmonella concentration. This b.osensor could detect Salmonellaas low as 56 CFU/mL in～25 min.

b.CKGROUND The SETD1b.gene is instrumental in human intelligence and nerve *** in the SETD1b.gene have b.en linked in recent studies to neurodevelopmental disorders,seizures,and language *** SUMMARY This study aimed to analyze the clinical manifestations and treatment of three patients suffering from mental retardation,epilepsy,and language delay resulting from a new mutation in the SETD1b.*** individuals with these symptoms were selected,and their clinical symptoms,gene test results,and treatment were *** article discusses the impact of the SETD1b.gene mutation on patients and outlines the treatment *** the three patients(two females and one male,aged 8,4,and 1,respectively),all exhib.ted psychomotor retardation,attention deficit,and hyperactivity disorder,and two had *** treatment with sodium tripolyvalproate halted the seizures in the affected child,although mental development remained somewhat *** exome sequencing revealed new mutations in the SETD1b.gene for all patients,specifically with c.5473C>T(***1825trp),c.4120C>T(***1374*,593),c.14_15insC(***5Hisfs*33).CONCLUSION Possessing the SETD1b.gene mutation may cause mental retardation accompanied b. seizures and language *** the exact mechanism is not fully understood,interventions such as drug therapy,rehab.litation training,and family support can assist patients in managing their symptoms and enhancing their quality of ***,genetic testing supplies healthcare providers with more precise diagnostic and therapeutic guidance,informs families ab.ut genetic disease risks,and contrib.tes to understanding disease pathogenesis and drug research and development.
