Owing to the increasing demand for harvesting energy from environmental vibration for use in self-powered electronic applications, cantilever-based vibration energy harvesting has attracted considerable interest from various parties and has become one of the most common approaches to converting redundant mechanical energy into electrical energy. As the output voltage produced from a piezoelectric material depends largely on the geometric shape and the size of the beam, there is a need to model and compare the performance of cantilever beams of differing *** paper presents the study of strain distribution in various shapes of cantilever beams, including a convex and concave edge profile elliptical beam that have not yet been discussed in any prior literature. both analytical and finite-element models are derived and the resultant strain distributions in the beam are computed based on a MATLAb solver and ANSYS finite-element analysis tools. An optimum geometry for a vibration-based energy harvesting system is ***, experimental results comparing the power density for triangular and rectangular piezoelectric beams are also presented to validate the findings of the study, and the claim, as suggested in the literature, is verified.

The structure and thermal parameters of Ni20Pd80 alloy were studied by X-ray diffraction（XRD）. The diffraction experiments performed in the temperature range of 308-1100 K revealed that the alloy formed a face centered cubic （fcc） Al-type structure. The temperature dependence of the lattice parameters was investigated by using the bragg line displacement method showing that the lattice parameter increases with the increase of temperature. The mean linear thermal expansion （MLTE（%））, coefficient of thermal expansion （CTE, α）, the characteristic Debye temperature （（θD） and mean square amplitudes of vibration were determined from XRD data. The value of Debye temperature was found to be 253 K. It was found that temperature factor was independent of the static displacements.

We report, for the first time, binary ZnO/MnW04 nanocomposites with p-n heterojunction fabricated by a simple ultrasonic-calcination route. The phase structure, morphology, and optical along with tex- tural properties were comprehensively characterized. The photocatalytic performance was studied via degradations of rhodamine b, methyl blue and methyl orange （Rhb, Mb, MO）, and fuchsine pollutants under visible-light illumination. The ZnO/MnW04 nanocomposites exhibited better photocatalytic per-formance than their single components and the nanocomposite with 30 wt% MnW04 showed the highest activity. Photocatalytic performance of this nanocomposite is 22.5, 17.7, 26.8, and 23.9 times higher than that of the ZnO sample in degradations of Rhb, Mb, MO, and fuchsine dyes, respectively. The improved photocatalytic performance was ascribed to the formation ofp-n heterojunction between ZnO and MnW04 with high charge separation efficiency as well as strong visible-light absorption ability. The possible mechanism for the improved photocatalytic performance was proposed. This study revealed that the novel ZnO/MnW04 p-n heterojunction can act as a promising visible-light-active photocatalyst for environmental applications.

Novel graphitic carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))nanosheet/bi_(5)O_(7)br/NH_(2)-MIL-88b(Fe)photocatalysts(denoted as GCN-NSh/bi_(5)O_(7)br/FeMOF,in which MOF is metal–organic framework)with double S-scheme heterojunctions were synthesized by a facile solvothermal *** resultant materials were examined by X-ray photoelectron spectrometer(XPS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),photoluminescence spectroscopy(PL),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),UV-Vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy(UV-vis DRS),photocurrent density,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),and brunauer–Emmett–Teller(bET)*** the integration of Fe-MOF with GCN-NSh/bi_(5)O_(7)br,the removal constant of tetracycline over the optimal GCN-NSh/bi_(5)O_(7)br/Fe-MOF(15wt%)nanocomposite was promoted 33 times compared with that of the pristine *** GCN-NSh/bi_(5)O_(7)br/Fe-MOF(15wt%)nanocomposite showed superior photoactivity to azithromycin,metronidazole,and cephalexin removal that was 36.4,20.2,and 14.6 times higher than that of pure GCN,*** quenching tests showed that·O_(2)-and h+mainly contributed to the elimination *** addition,the nanocomposite maintained excellent activity after 4 successive *** on the developed n–n heterojunctions among n-GCN-NSh,n-bi_(5)O_(7)br,and n-Fe-MOF semiconductors,the double S-scheme charge transfer mechanism was proposed for the destruction of the selected antibiotics.

The g-C3 N4/Fe3 O4/MnWO4 nanocomposites were prepared by a refluxing-calcination procedure. Visiblelight-induced photocatalytic experiments showed that the g-C3 N4/Fe3 O4/MnWO4（10%） nanocomposite has excellent ability to degrade a range of contaminants including rhodamine b, methylene blue, methyl orange, and fuchsine, which is about 7, 10, 25, and 31 times of the g-C3 N4 photocatalyst, *** species trapping experiments revealed that superoxide anion radicals play major role in the photodegradation reaction of rhodamine b（Rhb）. After the treatment process, the utilized photocatalyst was magnetically recovered and reused with negligible loss in the photocatalytic activity, which is vital in the photocatalytic processes. Finally, a mechanism was proposed for the enhanced interfacial carrier separation and transfer and the improved photocatalytic performance.

The paper studies Sard's problem on construction of optimal quadrature formulas in the space W_(2)^((m,0))by Sobolev's *** problem consists of two parts:first calculating the norm of the error functional and then finding the minimum of this norm by coefficients of quadrature *** the norm of the error functional is calculated with the help of the extremal *** using the method of Lagrange multipliers the system of linear equations for coefficients of the optimal quadrature formulas in the space W_(2)^((m,0)) is obtained,moreover the existence and uniqueness of the solution of this system are ***,the discrete analogue D_(m)(hβ)of the differential operatord^(2m)/dx^(2m)-1 is ***,Sobolev's method of construction of optimal quadrature formulas in the space W_(2)^((m,0)),which based on the discrete analogue D_(m)(hβ),is ***,for m=1 and m=3 the optimal quadrature formulas which are exact to exponential-trigonometric functions are ***,at the end of the paper the rate of convergence of the optimal quadrature formulas in the space W_(2)^((3,0))for the cases m=1 and m=3 are presented.

The treatment of hepatitis c virus (HCV) infection in children is difficult as few options are available. The standard therapy is combination pegylated interferon (PEG–IFN) α-2a or 2b and ribavirin, and the duration of therapy depends on HCV genotype. New oral drug therapies available for adults have stil not been approved for treatment in children. Here, we review the causes of HCV infection in children, the therapeutic options for children, and the side effects of these treatments. The problems faced by physicians managing HCV infection in children less than 12 years of age in a developing country are also discussed.

The effects of aggressive peat nature (pH) on the strength of peat treated by cement and cement-sodium silicate grout were investigated by evaluating the changes in unconfined compressive strength,moisture content,and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) of samples with time in different pH *** results indicate that peats treated by cement-silicate have higher strength than peats treated by cement,due to an increase in pH value of the ***,cement and cement-silicate are highly effective in reducing the moisture content and void ratio of the treated *** microstructures of treated peats support the laboratory test results.
