The linear characteristics of the unstable mode of ion-acoustic waves are examined in an electrostatic electron-ion plasma composed of streaming hot electrons,non-streaming cold electrons and dynamical positive ions.The plasma under consideration is modeled by using a non-gyrotropic nonextensive q-distribution function in which the free energy source for wave excitation is provided by the relative directed motion of streaming hot electrons with respect to the other plasma species.In the frame work of kinetic model,a linearized set of Vlasov-Poisson's equations are solved to obtain the analytical expressions for dispersion relation and Landau damping rate.The threshold condition for the unstable ion-acoustic wave is derived to assess the stability of the wave in the presence of nonextensive effects.Growth in the wave spectrum and nontrivial effects of q-nonextensive parameter on the ion-acoustic waves can be of interest for the readers in the regions of Saturns's magnetosphere.

The outcrop investigations provide a better comprehension to interrelate facies-diagenesis and fracture networks for the evaluation of reservoir potential of the carbonate rocks.In this paper,we targeted Kahi-Section(Nizampur Basin)and Peeran Tangai-Section(Kalachitta Range)to analyze structural-kinematics,Discrete Fracture Network Modelling,microfacies identification and diagenesis to interpret their impact on reservoir potential of Lockhart Limestone(Paleocene).The structural grain within the study area mostly represents the typical east-west trending tight to overturned folds and north-dipping thrust faults that mimic the north-south Indo-Eurasian collision.However,a second phase of deformation related to east-west compressions also identified which rotated the axes of preexisting structures.Fracture analysis revealed that extensional fractures are oriented at high angle to bedding and are differentiated into three orthogonal sets trending northeast-southwest,northwest-southeast and east-west,whereas,the shear fractures formed two conjugate sets trending northeastsouthwest.The Lockhart Limestone was deposited in the inner ramp setting and microfacies types are packstone,wackestone and wacke-packstone with seven sub-microfacies types.It has been identified that the Lockhart Limestone has the heterogeneous distribution of diagenetic and tectonic features throughout its extent.The observed diagenetic sequence is micritization,calcite cementation,dissolution,neomorphism,pyritization and compaction.The results highlight that open and partially filled fractures may provide an interconnected network to promote fluid mobility,leading to higher values of fracture permeability.The porosity values of the pore matrix were greater than fracture,resulting a significant impact on reservoir storage capacity.In contrast,a negative impact on reservoir potential has been shown by stylolites,veins and dissolution seams.However,based on the overall studies,the Lockhart Limestone revealed the prospect of a good reservoir unit in th

Recently, Wardowski [Fixed Point Theory Appl., 2012: 94, 2012] introduced and studied a new contraction called F-contraction to prove a fixed point result as a generalization of the Banach contraction principle. In this paper, we introduce an α-β-FG-contraction and generalize the Wardowski fixed point result in b-metric and ordered b-metric spaces. As an application of our results we deduce Suzuki type fixed point results for β-FG-contractions.Moreover, we discuss some illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements.

The present study concerns the modelization and numerical simulation for the heat and flow exchange characteristics in a novel configuration saturated with a nonNewtonian Ag-MgO hybrid nanofluid.The wavy shaped enclosure is equipped with onequarter of a conducting solid cylinder.The system of equations resulting from the mathematical modeling of the physical problem in its dimensionless form is discretized via the higher-order Galerkin-based finite element method(GFEM).The dependency of various factors and their interrelationships affecting the hydro-thermal behavior and heat exchange rate are delineated.The numerical experiments reveal that the best heat transfer rate is achieved for the pseudo-plastic hybrid nanoliquid with high Rayleigh number and thermal conductivity ratio and low Hartmann number.Besides,the power-law index has a major effect in deteriorating the heat convection at high Rayleigh number.

This paper examines the potential of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor for shared prosperity and economic development through enhanced regional connectivity.It argues that CPEC can act as a regional connector for South Asian and Middle Eastern states by bringing enormous economic and trade opportunities.Having examined the potential utilisation of CPEC as a regional connector in contextualising the Pakistan-China shared consensus for the inclusion of new partners,this paper investigates the areas of regional connectivity cooperation and cross-border linkages with India,Afghanistan,Iran,and Saudi Arabia,and highlights the prospects and challenges to CPEC for mutual collaboration and expanded regionalisation.

A novel technique for the optimal tuning of power system stabilizer (PSS) was proposed,by integrating the modified particle swarm optimization (MPSO) with the chaos (MPSOC).Firstly,a modification in the particle swarm optimization (PSO) was made by introducing passive congregation (PC).It helps each swarm member in receiving a multitude of information from other members and thus decreases the possibility of a failed attempt at detection or a meaningless search.Secondly,the MPSO and chaos were hybridized (MPSOC) to improve the global searching capability and prevent the premature convergence due to local minima.The robustness of the proposed PSS tuning technique was verified on a multi-machine power system under different operating conditions.The performance of the proposed MPSOC was compared to the MPSO,PSO and GA through eigenvalue analysis,nonlinear time-domain simulation and statistical tests.Eigenvalue analysis shows acceptable damping of the low-frequency modes and time domain simulations also show that the oscillations of synchronous machines can be rapidly damped for power systems with the proposed PSSs.The results show that the presented algorithm has a faster convergence rate with higher degree of accuracy than the GA,PSO and MPSO.

This study is designed to develop Artificial Intelligence(AI)based analysis tool that could accurately detect COVID-19 lung infections based on portable chest x-rays(CXRs).The frontline physicians and radiologists suffer from grand challenges for COVID-19 pandemic due to the suboptimal image quality and the large volume of CXRs.In this study,AI-based analysis tools were developed that can precisely classify COVID-19 lung infection.Publicly available datasets of COVID-19(N=1525),non-COVID-19 normal(N=1525),viral pneumonia(N=1342)and bacterial pneumonia(N=2521)from the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology(SIRM),Radiopaedia,The Cancer Imaging Archive(TCIA)and Kaggle repositories were taken.A multi-approach utilizing deep learning ResNet101 with and without hyperparameters optimization was employed.Additionally,the fea-tures extracted from the average pooling layer of ResNet101 were used as input to machine learning(ML)algorithms,which twice trained the learning algorithms.The ResNet101 with optimized parameters yielded improved performance to default parameters.The extracted features from ResNet101 are fed to the k-nearest neighbor(KNN)and support vector machine(SVM)yielded the highest 3-class classification performance of 99.86%and 99.46%,respectively.The results indicate that the proposed approach can be bet-ter utilized for improving the accuracy and diagnostic efficiency of CXRs.The proposed deep learning model has the potential to improve further the efficiency of the healthcare systems for proper diagnosis and prognosis of COVID-19 lung infection.
