N6-methyladenosine methylation(m6A)is a common type of epigenetic alteration that prominently affects the prognosis of tumor ***,it is unknown how the m6A regulator affects the tumor microenvironment(TmE)cell infiltration in adrenocortical carcinoma(ACC)and how it affects the prognosis of ACC patients *** m6A alteration patterns of 112 ACC patients were evaluated,furthermore,the association with immune infiltration cell features was *** unsupervised clustering method was applied to typify the m6A alteration patterns of ACC *** principal component analysis(PCA)technique was taken to create the m6A score to assess the alteration pattern in specific *** found two independent patterns of m6A alteration in ACC *** TmE cell infiltration features were significantly in accordance with phenotypes of tumor immune-inflamed and immune desert in both *** m6Ascore also served as an independent predictive factor in ACC *** somatic copy number variation(CNV)and patients prognosis can be predicted by m6A alteration ***,the ACC patients with high m6A scores had better overall survival(OS)and higher efficiency in immune checkpoint blockade *** work demonstrated the significance of m6A alteration to the ACC patients *** individual m6A alteration patterns analysis might contribute to ACC patients prognosis prediction and immunotherapy choice.

The effect of a machine feeding rate(FR;1,1.5 and 2 mg/h)and/or three levels of selected fineness degree(FD;3,5 and 7 mm)on machine performance,pellet physical parameters,required energy and production cost of three main types of broilers diets were examined in this *** examined broiler diets were formulated to meet the Ross 308 strain requirements.A complete factorial design(3×3×3)was used to identify the effects of studied factors on the pellet mill machine and pellet *** obtained results indicated that the pellet mill productivity significantly(p˂0.001)improved through increased pellet mill feeding rate *** addition,the machine pelleting efficiency was found to be significantly affected by all studied variables and their *** the total power consumption of the machine showed no variations under the impact of the tested factors or with any of their *** the pellet physical quality indices,all broiler diets with all selected FD and lower FR had the maximum durability and bulk density ***,lower feeding rates were associated with higher hardness *** lowest production costs were substantially correlated with high FR and intermediate FD(5 mm).Furthermore,production costs were determined to be reduced in finisher broiler diets under different feeding ***,manufacturing costs of finisher broiler meals were observed to decrease in several feeding ***,these findings indicate the capabilities of producing high-quality pellets and reducing the needed production costs by optimizing feeding rates to 2 mg/h and 2 mm fineness in broiler diets.

Controlling hyperchaotic complex systems with unknown parameters based on adaptive passive method

The aim of this paper is to study the control of hyperchaofic complex nonlinear systems with unknown parameters using passive control theory. An approach is stated to design the passive controller and estimate the unknown parameters based on the property of the passive system. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach is demonstrated through its application to the hyperchaotic complex Lu system, as an example. The estimated values of the unknown parameters are calculated. The analytical form of the complex controller is derived and used in the numerical simulation to control the hyperchaotic attractors of this example. Block diagrams of this example using matlab/Simulink are constructed after and before the control to ensure the validity of the analytical results. Other examples of hyperchaotic complex nonlinear systems can be similarly treated.

Investigation into the effect of silica nanoparticles on the rheological characteristics of water-in-heavy oil emulsions

The effect of silica nanoparticles on the rheological characteristics of water-in-heavy oil emulsions has been *** oil recovery methods for heavy oil production(most especially,thermal fluid injection)usually result in the formation of water-in-oil(W/O)*** reality,the emulsion produced also contains some fine solid mineral particles such as silica,which,depending on its quantity,may alter the viscosity and/or rheological properties of the fluid.A series of binary-component emulsions were separately prepared by dispersing silica nanoparticles[phase fraction,βs,=0.5%–5.75%(wt/v)]in heavy oil(S/O suspension)and by dispersing water[water cut,θw=10%–53%(v/v)]in heavy oil(W/O emulsion).Ternary-component emulsions comprising heavy oil,water droplets and suspended silica nanoparticles(S/W/O)were also prepared with similar ranges ofθw andβ*** viscosity was measured at different shear rates(5.1–1021.4 s-1)and temperatures(30–70°C).Both binary-component and ternary-component emulsion systems were observed to exhibit nonNewtonian shear thinning *** viscosity of the heavy oil and W/O emulsions increased in the presence of silica *** effect was,however,less signifi cant belowβs=2%(wt/v).moreover,a generalized correlation has been proposed to predict the viscosity of both binary-component and ternary-component emulsions.

Kinetic spectrophotometric method for determination of amlodipine besylate in its pharmaceutical tablets

A simple and sensitive kinetic spectrophotometric method has been developed and validated for determination of amlodipine besylate （AmL）. The method was based on the condensation reaction of AmL with 7-chloro-4-nitro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole in an alkaline buffer （pH 8.6） producing a highly colored product. The color development was monitored spectrophometrically at the maximum absorption λmax 470 nm. The factors affecting the reaction were studied and the conditions were optimized. The stoichiometry of the reaction was determined, and the reaction pathway was postulated. moreover, both the activation energy and the specific rate constant （at 70 ℃） of the reaction were found to be 6.74 kcal mole-1 and 3.58 s -1, respectively. The initial rate and fixed time methods were utilized for constructing the calibration graphs lbr the determination of AmL concentration. Under the optimum reaction conditions, the limits of detection and quantification were 0.35 and 1.05 ug/mL, respectively. The precision of the method was satisfactory; the relative standard deviations were 0.85-1.76%. The proposed method was successfully applied to the analysis of AmL in its pure form and tablets with good accuracy; the recovery percentages ranged from 99.55 ± 1.69% to 100.65 ±1.48%. The results were compared with that of the reported method.

Objective:To study genetic variation in buffalo follicle stimulating hormone beta-subunit (FSHB) gene and its association with ***: In this experimental study, blood samples were collected by standard methods using EDTA anticoagulant and transrectal ultrasound examination was conducted on fertile (n=74) and infertile buffaloes with a history of anestrum (n=30) or repeat breeding (n=12). The genomic DNA was extracted for PCR followed by single strand conformation polymorphism analysis. DNA sequencing was performed for the determination of single nucleotide polymorphism ofFSHB ***:The study results showed that there was genetic polymorphism with two different single strand conformation polymorphism patterns, AA and AB. The former pattern was associated with fertility in Egyptian buffaloes. Pair wise alignment of the two patterns sequences revealed that FSHB pattern II (AB) has C nucleotide insertion as SNP at the site of 208 bp of sequenced ***:FSHB is polymorphic in the infertile Egyptian buffaloes, suggesting its practicability as a candidate marker for female fertility.

Complex damped nonlinear systems have been introduced and studied in our previous *** systems appear in many important applications in engineering, physics and mechanics,for example,in rotor dynamics,robots,shells and in high energy *** the aim of this paper is to continue our investigations by studying these systems with random *** effect of random phase for these systems is *** interested system demonstrates unstable periodic attractors when the intensity of random noise equals zero,and we show that the unstable dynamical behavior will be stabilized as the intensity of random noise properly *** phase plot and the time evolution are carried out to confirm the obtained results of Poincar(?) map analysis and top Lyapunov exponent on dynamical behavior of *** agreement is found between these results.

A Transfer Learning Approach Based on Ultrasound Images for Liver Cancer Detection

The convolutional neural network(CNN)is one of the main algorithms that is applied to deep transfer learning for classifying two essential types of liver lesions;Hemangioma and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Ultrasound images,which are commonly available and have low cost and low risk compared to computerized tomography(CT)scan images,will be used as input for the model.A total of 350 ultrasound images belonging to 59 patients are *** number of images with HCC is 202 and 148,*** images were collected from ultrasound ***(28 Hemangiomas patients and 11 HCC patients),the department of radiology,the University of Washington(7 HCC patients),the Atlas of ultrasound Germany(3 HCC patients),and Radiopedia and others(10 HCC patients).The ultrasound images are divided into 225,52,and 73 for training,validation,and testing.A data augmentation technique is used to enhance the validation *** proposed an approach based on ensembles of the best-selected deep transfer models from the on-the-shelf models:VGG16,VGG19,DenseNet,Inception,InceptionResNet,ResNet,and *** tuning both the feature extraction and the classification layers,the best models are *** accuracy is used for model tuning and *** accuracy,sensitivity,specificity and AUROC are used to evaluate the *** experiments are concluded in five *** first stage aims to evaluate the base model performance by training the on-the-shelf *** best accu-racy obtained in the first stage is 83.5%.In the second stage,we augmented the data and retrained the on-the-shelf models with the augmented *** best accuracy we obtained in the second stage was 86.3%.In the third stage,we tuned the feature extraction layers of the on-the-shelf *** best accuracy obtained in the third stage is 89%.In the fourth stage,we fine-tuned the classification layer and obtained an accuracy of 93%as the best *** the fifth stage,we applied the en
