Mobile broadband(MBB)networks are expanding rapidly to deliver higher data *** fifth-generation cellular network promises enhanced-MBB with high-speed data rates,low power connectivity,and ultralow latency video ***,existing cellular networks are unable to perform well due to high latency and low bandwidth,which degrades the performance of various *** a result,monitoring and evaluation of the performance of these network-supported services is *** network providers optimize and monitor their network performance to ensure the highest quality of service to their *** paper proposes a Bayesian model to estimate the minimum opinion score(MOS)of video streaming services for any particular cellular *** MOS is the most commonly used metric to assess the quality of *** proposed Bayesian model consists of several input data,na.ely,round-trip time,stalling load,and bite *** was examined and evaluated using several test data sizes with various performance *** results show the proposed Bayesian network achieved higher accuracy overall test data sizes than a neural *** proposed Bayesian network obtained a remarkable overall accuracy of 90.36%and outperformed the neural network.

Fifth-generation(5G)cellular networks offer high transmission rates in dense urban ***,a massive deployment of small cells will be required to provide wide-area coverage,which leads to an increase in the number of handovers(HOs).Mobility management is an important issue that requires considerable attention in heterogeneous networks,where 5G ultra-dense small cells coexist with current fourth-generation(4G)*** mobility robustness optimization(MRO)and load balancing optimization(LBO)functions have been introduced in the 3GPP standard to address HO problems,non-robust and nonoptimal algorithms for selecting appropriate HO control parameters(HCPs)still exist,and an optimal solution is subjected to compromise between LBO and MRO ***,HO decision algorithms become *** paper proposes a conflict resolution technique to address the contradiction between MRO and LBO *** proposed technique exploits received signal reference power(RSRP),cell load and user speed to adapt HO margin(HM)and time to trigger(TTT).Estimated HM and TTT depend on a weighting function and HO type which is represented by user status during *** proposed technique is validated with other existing algorithms from the *** results demonstrate that the proposed technique outperforms existing algorithms overall performance *** proposed technique reduces the overall average HO ping-pong probability,HO failure rate and interruption time by more than 90%,46%and 58%,respectively,compared with the other schemes overall speed scenarios and simulation time.

Air renewal times and ventilation rate calculations for underground workings using radioactive measurement

Potential alpha emitters are of prime concern to the ventilation engineer due to their rapid concentration increasing once radon released in the mine atmosphere, causing tissue irradiation and lung *** of the time based variations of the natural ventilation in tunnels and their relationship to the external parameters contribute to the air circulation assessment. Due to the continuous and high fluctuation of the meteorological conditions affecting the air circulation and intensity through the underground workings, there is a difficulty in the natural ventilation assessment by only the ordinary meteorological measurements. So, in this paper, the possibility of using the radioactive measurements, allowing for the air aging and ventilation quality to be qualified, is investigated through three different underground structures. Referring to the most confined structure of them, results show that one structure has a better exchange rate by a factor 1.8 and the other has the best rate by a factor 2.1. This parameter can be linked to the operating costs and size of a future ventilation system.

Airstacknet: A Stacking Ensemble-Based Approach for Air Quality Prediction

The quality of the airwe breathe during the courses of our daily lives has a significant impact on our health and well-being as ***,personal air quality measurement remains *** this study,we investigate the use of first-person photos for the prediction of air *** main idea is to harness the power of a generalized stacking approach and the importance of haze features extracted from first-person images to create an efficient new stacking model called AirStackNet for air pollution *** consists of two layers and four regression models,where the first layer generates meta-data fromLight Gradient Boosting Machine(Light-GBM),Extreme Gradient Boosting Regression(XGBoost)and CatBoost Regression(CatBoost),whereas the second layer computes the final prediction from the meta-data of the first layer using Extra Tree Regression(ET).The performance of the proposed AirStackNet model is validated using public Personal Air Quality Dataset(PAQD).Our experiments are evaluated using Mean Absolute Error(MAE),Root Mean Square Error(RMSE),Coefficient of Determination(R2),Mean Squared Error(MSE),Root Mean Squared Logarithmic Error(RMSLE),and Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE).Experimental Results indicate that the proposed AirStackNet model not only can effectively improve air pollution prediction performance by overcoming the Bias-Variance tradeoff,but also outperforms ba.eline and state of the art models.

Information security is one of the most important methods of protecting the confidentiality and privacy of internet *** greater the volume of data,the more the need to increase the security methods for protecting data from *** task can be challenging for researchers in terms of managing enormous data and maintaining their safety and *** of digital content is a major issue in maintaining the privacy and secrecy of *** this end,digital watermarking is based on the concept of information security through the insertion and detection of an embedded watermark in an efficient *** methodologies in the research on digital watermarking result in data distortion after embedding the *** scenario can reduce the efficiency of detecting watermarks as well as violate data *** study adapts a robust reversible histogram shifting(HS)technique for textual data in relational ***,the study presents a digital watermarking scheme intended for document copyright protection and proof of *** major advantage of the proposed watermarking scheme is that it can protect digital data and preserve data *** the best of our knowledge,this research methodology is promising for use in the HS expansion model for watermarking data on nonnumeric *** addition,the results showed that despite exposing the database to an insertion attacks at 50%and 75%of the watermark,the proposed algorithm can recovermore than half of the embedded watermark in all addition and alteration attacks *** a result,the watermark information can be retained and restored completely.

Ca-,Al-rich refractory inclusions and Pt-metal nuggets in the Ningqiang carbonaceous chondrite

Petrography and mineral chemistry of Ca, Al-rich inclusions of Ningqiang carbonaceous chondrite are studied and the highly Re-Os fractionated Pt-metal nuggets in it is discovered. The refractory inclusions are classified into melilite-spinel-rich, and spinel-pyroxene-rich types. The former probably crystallized from melts, while the latter could be aggregates of the nebular condensates. The strong f ractionation between Re and Os suggests a pre-solar origin of the Pt-metal nuggets, which probably experienced various processes of formation and evolution before being captured by the refractory inclusions as indicated by the depletions of W and Mo.

Modeling environmental sensitivity and risk assessment of PAHs in sediments along two marine coastal areas in Egypt

Modeling the environmental sensitivity index(ESI)is vital in the planning and management processes,especially along the coastal *** main objectives of the study were to define the main sources of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs),establish an ESI model,and measure the risk of PAHs on humans and the environment using various *** methodology of the research involved analyzing PAHs according to the EPA 550 methodology in sediments of the coastline in two important coastline areas in Egypt,na.ely the Gulf of Suez and the Mediterranean Sea,modeling the sensitivity of PAHs using ArcGIS 10.5 by integrating different physical,biological,and land use/cover factors,identifying the sources,and performing a risk *** sediment samples were collected from each *** produced sensitivity map could explain the highly sensitive areas along the Mediterranean Sea and Gulf of Suez coastlines(especially areas that were near drains'outlets,industrial sites,and sea ports).The highest mean PAH concentrations were Acenaphthylene and Fluorine in the Mediterranean Sea and Suez Gulf,***'s obvious that the individual PAH concentrations were within the ERL,ERM,and Pel threshold limits,indicating no adverse biological *** ratios of BaA/BaA+Chy,Flu/Flu+Py,and Ant/Ant+Phe gave an indication that most PAH sources were petrogenic(63.64%)and others(36.36%)were from petroleum *** principle component analysis(PCA)indicated a diverse correlation among the isomer ratios and LU/LC *** carcinogenic risk values were in the very low category(elines and seawater free of oil spillage act

Naringenin suppresses NLRP3 inflammasome activation via the mRNA-208a signaling pathway in isoproterenol-induced myocardial infarction

Objective:To investigate the cardioprotective effect of naringenin against isoproterenol(ISO)-induced cardiotoxicity in ***:Rats were divided into five groups:the normal group,the ISO group(85 mg/kg b.w.);the ISO+naringenin(50 mg/kg b.w.)group,the ISO+naringenin(100 mg/kg b.w.)group and the ISO+propranolol(10 mg/kg b.w.)*** creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB),cardiac troponin T,lactate dehydrogenase,brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),and IL-10,as well as cardiac transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and malondialdehyde(MDA)were *** addition,NLRP3 and mRNA-208a expressions were evaluated by RT-PCR *** examination was also performed to assess cardiac ***:Naringenin treatment significantly decreased plasma lactate dehydrogenase,CK-MB,cardiac troponin T,BNP,and IL-10,as well as cardiac TGF-β1,VEGF,and MDA while increasing p-Akt and superoxide dismutase in ISO-administered *** also reduced NLRP3 and mRNA-208a gene expression ***,naringenin improved ISO-induced cardiac ***:Naringenin attenuates myocardial dysfunction in ISO-treated rats by decreasing oxidative stress and increasing cardiac endogenous antioxidant system,which may be modulated partly by improvement of NLRP3 and mRNA-208a gene expression.

Enhancing optical absorption in visible light of ZnO co-doped with europium and promethium by first-principles study through modified Becke and Johnson potential scheme

By using first-principles calculations we studied the electronic, optical and magnetic properties of ZnO co-doped with Eu and Pm. In this calculation, we used Wien2 k code based on full potential linearized augmented plane waves(FP-LAPW) method with the modified Becke-Johnson(mBJ) approximation. This correction gives good band gap compared to experimental band gap. The introduction of Eu and Pm codoping leads to an increase in the band gap. electrons can transit easily from the valence band to the conduction band, which results in an enhancement of visible light absorption in a wider absorption range. Absorption spectra reach a high value in visible and infrared light regions. With the significance of the obtained results, the studied compounds may potentially find spintronic and optoelectronic applications.
