In this study,we give a new proposal to measure the temperature of the spin in a sample in a magnetic resonance force microscopy system by using postselected weak measurement,and investigating the Fisher information to estimate the precision of the *** show that in a high temperature regime the temperature of the spin can be measured via a weak measurement technique with proper postselection and our scheme is able to increase the precision of temperature estimation.

During the lifetime of AR 12673,its magnetic field evolved drastically and produced numerous large *** this study,using full maps of the Sun observed by the Solar Dynamics Observatory and the Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory,we identified that AR 12673 emerged in decayed AR 12665,which had survived for two solar *** both ARs emerged at the same location,they possessed different characteristics and different flare ***,it is important to study the long-term magnetic evolution of both ARs to identify the distinguishing characteristics of an AR that can produce large solar *** used the Space-weather Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager Active Region Patch data to investigate the evolution of the photospheric magnetic field and other physical properties of the recurring ARs during five Carrington *** these investigated parameters dynamically evolved through a series of solar *** compared the long-term evolution of AR 12665 and AR 12673 to understand the differences in their flare-producing *** also studied the relation of the long-term evolution of these ARs with the presence of active *** found that the magnetic flux and complexity of AR12673 developed much faster than those of AR *** results confirmed that a strong emerging flux that emerged in the pre-existing AR near the active longitude created a very strong and complex AR that produced large flares.

The demand for tree height derivation is increasing year by year,especially for large plantation and forest *** conventional method needs a long time to complete tree measurement for large forest area,especially when using a pole,measuring tape,rangefinder,clinometer,and tree *** study aims to evaluate the height of oil palm tree based on crown diameter by using a multi-rotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV).Digital Elevation Model(DEM)and orthophoto were generated by using Agisoft software,while oil palm tree crown diameter was delineated by using seed generation with Quantum Geographic Information System(QGIS)and Seeded Region Growing(SRG)segmentation methods in the System for Automated Geoscientific Analysis(SAGA).The study validates the results between the actual tree height and tree height estimated from *** results showed that the orthophoto was successfully generated with a Ground Sampling Distance(GSD)of 2.95 cm and 129 tree crowns were successfully *** accuracy of the tree height as compared to the actual measurement was 57.7 *** conclusion,UAV images are capable of determining the tree height after going through the correct procedure to help foresters in their daily task.

Ab initio calculations of the orbital and the ground state energies of some open- and closed-shell atoms over Slater type orbitals with quantum numbers integer and Slater type orbitals with quantum numbers noninteger have been performed. In order to increase the efficiency of these calculations the atomic two-electron integrals were expressed in terms of incomplete beta function. Results were observed to be in good agreement with the literature.

Carboxymethyl cellulose(CMC)has emerged in oil and gas industries as a superior substitution to the conventional HPAM and xanthan gum(XG)for high viscosity polymer flooding *** this study,the combined effect of conventional surfactant,sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate(SDBS)and CMC for potential surfactant-polymer(SP)flooding in enhanced oil recovery(EOR)has been ***,SDBS–CMC interaction and the functional groups present in CMC were appropriately *** presence of various C–O bonds signifies the existence of carboxymethyl group which greatly influence the rheological properties of CMC *** behaviour of SDBS–CMC was characterized by their viscosity,shear rate,solubilization,wettability,and surface *** flooding utilizing SDBS-CMC was performed and compared to commercial SDBS-XG SP *** results indicate several SDBS-CMC combinations are favourable for EOR *** viscosity shows direct relationship with CMC ***,at any given SDBS concentrations,significant increment was observed at 0.3 wt%and ***,the trend displayed inconclusive relation to SDBS *** of the SDBS-CMC combinations generate Winsor III emulsions particularly at CMC of 0.2 and 0.3 wt%,while Type II were observed in few *** CMC concentrations increased the contact angle,while gradual reductions were observed with SDBS *** gradual reduction in surface tension was highly influenced by the addition of CMC rather than SDBS.A novel combination of 0.3 wt%SDBS and 0.4 wt%CMC possessed an encouraging criterion in term of viscosity,solubilization,and surface tension reduction for EOR *** experiment from several SDBS-CMC combinations proved to recover additional oil ranging 16.4–20.2%of oil initially in place(OIIP).The trend in incremental oil recovery is similar to that of when utilising SDBS-XG.

By means of the effective-field theory （EFT） with correlations, the thermodynamic and magnetic quantities （such as magnetization, susceptibility, internal energy, specific heat, free energy, hysteresis curves, and compensation behaviors） of the spin-l/2 hexagonal Ising nanowire （HIN） system with core/shell structure have been presented. The hysteresis curves are obtained for different values of the system parameters, in both ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic cases. It has been shown that the system only undergoes a second-order phase transition. Moreover, from the thermal variations of the total magnetization, the five compensation types can be found under certain conditions, namely the Q-, R-, S-, P-, and N-types.
