Axonal regeneration after injuries to the nervous system has been extensively studied due to its implication in motor and sensory functional recovery. Distinct types of regeneration has been identified, such as canonical axonal regeneration, defined as the growth of axons from the transected axonal stump to reinnervate the original target, or regenerative sprouting, in which the growth occurs from a region of the damaged axon either close or far from the injury site(Tuszynski and Steward, 2012).

During the course of a hypothetical severe accident in a nuclear Pressurized Water Reactor （PWR）, containment reactor is pressurized by steam and hydrogen released from a primary circuit breach and distributed into the containment according to convective flows and steam wall condensation. In addition, core degradation leads to fission products released into the containment. Water spraying is used in the containment as mitigation means in order to reduce pressure, to remove fission products and to enhance the gas mixing in case of presence of hydrogen. This paper presents results of the TOSQAN aerosol program undertaken by the Institute de Radioprotection et de Sfiret6 Nucl6aire （IRSN） devoted to study the aerosol removal by a spray, for typical accidental thermal hydraulic conditions in PWR containment. The TOSQAN facility is a large enclosure devoted to simulate typical accidental thermal hydraulic flow conditions in nuclear PWR containment.

多重解析多普勒（ＭＡＮＤＯＰ）方法是用解析表达式进行三维风场反演。它成功地应用于处理地基多普勒雷达资料，获取对流系统层状降水区域的风场结构。本文将ＭＡＮ－ＤＯＰ方法在机载雷达情况下的进行推广并通过模拟研究径向速度测量中信号噪声、雨滴降落速度估计误差、平流速度估计误差、尤其是由于机载特性的引入产生的雷达束定位误差等对方法的影响。模拟结果显示，在机载雷达的技术参数下，ＭＡＮＤＯＰ方法能够提供误差可以接受的三维风场反演。

Experience with Porcine Acellular Dermal Collagen Mesh (Permacol™Surgical Implant) in Chest Wall Reconstruction after Resection for Rib Osteomyelitis

Chest wall reconstruction after rib resection is essential to ensuring chest wall stability, avoiding flail chest and pulmonary hernia, and improving pulmonary function. Traditionally, a synthetic mesh and a musculocutaneous flap have been used to bridge the chest wall defect. However, a risk of secondary prosthesis infection exists. Acellular dermal collagen mesh implants (Permacol™) are indicated for the reconstruction and reformation of human soft connective tissue. A case of a complex chest wall reconstruction after rib resection for osteomyelitis due to staphylococcus aureus infection in a malnourished, immunosuppressed, and methadone-addicted patient is presented. The patient underwent a left posterolateral thoracotomy and chest wall resection, involving three ribs and the soft tissues overlying an infected cutaneous fistula. The chest wall was reconstructed using a 28 × 18 cm piece of porcine sterile acellular dermal collagen mesh. A successful chest wall repair was achieved with no incisional herniation and with complete mesh incorporation, allowing physiologic respiratory movements. A typical wound seroma developed and resorbed over the following months. There was no infection. In conclusion, this case report suggests that Permacol™surgical implant can be used successfully as an alternative to synthetic mesh in reconstruction of an infected chest wall.

Demented persons in the process of slowly becoming dependent have to rely on the assistance of others. These others are health professionals (formal care), on the one hand and family carers (informal care) on the other hand. The latter, whether or not they have chosen to play a role which is hardly defined officially, have to face many difficult situations such as complicated access to care due to lack of equal opportunities under the health system, unable to support them efficiently. Taking care of a demented patient is a life challenge often leading to burn out, having impact on physical and mental health. Caregivers may thus even have no time or opportunity to take care of their own health. So, is it not high time for the decision-makers to think it over and take care of the carers by setting up programs and giving them the opportunity to learn, to work as a team with the professionals so as to protect themselves and their dignity as well as that of their patients. The difficulties/problems carers of demented patients may encounter should be a major issue for public health care because their role is a vital one and because the consequences which may have on their own health can be negative.

Factors released by surrounding cells such as cancer-associated mesenchymal stromal cells(CA-MSCs)are involved in tumor progression and *** this study,we characterize the mechanisms by which naYve mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)can acquire a CA-MSCs *** tumor cells trigger the transformation of MSCs to CA-MSCs by expressing pro-tumoral genes implicated in the chemoresistance of cancer cells,resulting in the secretion of high levels of CXC chemokine receptors 1 and 2(CXCR1/2)ligands such as chemokine(C-X-C motif)ligand 1(CXCL1),CXCL2,and interleukin 8(IL-8).CXCR1/2 ligands can also inhibit the immune response against ovarian tumor ***,through their released factors,CA-MSCs promote the differentiation of monocytes towards M2 macrophages,which favors tumor *** CXCR1/2 receptors are inhibited,these CA-MSC-activated macrophages lose their M2 properties and acquire an anti-tumoral *** ex vivo and in vivo,we used a CXCR1/2 inhibitor to sensitize ovarian tumor cells to carboplatin and circumvent the pro-tumoral effects of *** high concentrations of CXCR1/2 ligands in patients*blood are associated with chemoresistance,CXCR1/2 inhibition could be a potential therapeutic strategy to revert carboplatin resistance.

Acute renal artery occlusion following infliximab infusion

We report the case of a 44-year-old male patient who presented with acute renal artery occlusion, 3 d after frst injection of infiximab for steroid refractory attack of ulcerative colitis. Extensive work-up provided no evidence of predisposing factors for arterial thrombosis. Infiximab was thus suspected in the genesis of throm-bosis, based on both intrinsic and extrinsic criteria. At month 3 after thrombosis with ongoing anticoagulation, angio-tomodensitometry showed complete revascularization of the left renal artery with renal atrophy. Renal function remained normal and the patient was still in steroid free remission on mercaptopurin monotherapy at maximal follow-up. Few thromboembolic events have been described with anti- tumor necrosis factor （TNF） agents, but it is the frst case reported of renal artery thrombosis after infiximab infusion. In addition, we re-view thrombosis associated with anti-TNF agents.

Recently, under the circumstances of pandemic of COVID-19 much attention has been paid to titanium dioxide TiO2 as bactericidal agent;however, conventional TiO2 requires ultraviolet radiation or visible light to exercise its photocatalytic properties and its induced antimicrobial activity. In order to expand its applications directed at wide civil life, antibacterial TiO2 being usable under dark conditions has been demanded. The present paper describes the powder characterization of newly developed potassium K and phosphorous P co-doped nanometer-size anatase TiO2 powders using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning and transmission electron microscopies (SEM & TEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method (BET), fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS), electron spin resonance (ESR) and chemiluminescence (CL). It was found for the first time that thus prepared anatase TiO2 could submit much reactive oxygen species (ROS) even in the dark, which has close relation with bactericidal activity in light interception.
