Trachypithecus,which currently contains 20 species divided into four groups,is the most speciose and geographically dispersed genus among Asian *** several morphological and molecular studies,however,its evolutionary history and phylogeography remain poorly ***’s langur(Trachypithecus phayrei) is one of the most widespread members of the genus,but details on its actual distribution and intraspecific taxonomy are limited and ***,to elucidate the evolutionary history of Trachypithecus and to clarify the intraspecific taxonomy and distribution of ***,we sequenced 41 mitochondrial genomes from georeferenced fecal samples and museum specimens,including two *** analyses revealed a robustly supported phylogeny of Trachypithecus,suggesting that the *** group branched first,followed by the *** group,and the *** and *** groups most *** four species groups diverged from each other 4.5-3.1 million years ago(Ma),while speciation events within these groups occurred much more recently(1.6-0.3 Ma).Within ***,we found three clades that diverged 1.0-0.9 Ma,indicating the existence of three rather than two *** the phylogenetic species concept and based on genetic,morphological,and ecological differences,we elevate the *** subspecies to species level,describe a new species from central Myanmar,and refine the distribution of the three ***,our study highlights the importance of museum specimens and provides new insights not only into the evolutionary history of *** but the entire Trachypithecus genus as well.

Synthesis and characteristics of transparent Gd_(2)O_(3)ceramics with cubic structure

Transparent Gd_(2)O_(3)ceramics with a cubic crystal structure were successfully synthesized for the first *** Gd_(2)O_(3)ceramics subjected to hot isostatic press(HIP)at 1070℃consisted of uniform grains of 2-3μm,and only a few residual pores could be detected inside the materials.X-ray diffraction(XRD)shows that the obtained polycrystalline materials have a cubic crystal structure,and the transmission polarized light observation shows that there is no birefringence inside the materials,indicating inherent optical properties of the cubic crystal *** optical absorption edge is 640 nm(optical band gap:2.1 eV),and the transmittance in the visible to near-infrared region is 72%,which is close to the theoretical transmittance calculated from Fresnel *** constant of this material is almost wavelength-independent,and it is diamagnetic since it has the opposite polarity to that of common paramagnetic materials.

Anisotropic alumina ceramics with isotropic optical properties

Excellent mechanical and isotropic optical properties are achieved simultaneously from fully dense polycrystalline advanced alumina ceramics with a hexagonal crystal structure,which are optically anisotropic.A small amount(240 ppm)of ZrO_(2) additive is used to synthesize the transparent alumina ceramics with an average grain size of 0.7µm,and locally detected optical distortion(birefringence)is extremely minimized,less than 20 nm/*** transmittance(86%)of the alumina ceramics(thickness=0.3 mm)in ultraviolet(UV)to infrared(IR)regions is similar to that of commercial c-axis sapphire single crystals produced by Czochralski(CZ)method,while the extinction ratio in the visible wavelength area is over 25 *** glass and the c-axis sapphire single crystals,the alumina ceramics can clearly display texts and images on liquid crystal display(LCD)screens.A grain boundary phase of nano-sized Al_(2)O_(3)-ZrO_(2) composition(amorphous)is formed at the grain boundary of the advanced alumina ceramics,which enhances four-point bending strength and fracture toughness(KIC)simultaneously to 921 MPa and 6.8 MPa·m^(0.5),respectively,and hence the mechanical properties are superior to those of the sapphire single crystals.

This study explores the spatial structure and transport characteristics of eddies in the Arabian Sea(AS)using Argo profiles and satellite *** majority of eddies occur in the northern AS,especially along its northeastern *** contrast,the western AS had a relatively higher eddy kinetic energy compared to the eastern ***,the strongest energetic eddies were present in the Somali Current *** composite results revealed the evident thermohaline anomalies caused by cyclonic eddies(CEs)and anticyclonic eddies(AEs)in the upper 300m *** anomalous temperature structure within CEs and AEs showed a dominant dipole structure in the near-surface layer and a monopole structure below,with maximum temperature anomalies of approximately−0.8℃and+1.0℃located at depths of 100–150m,*** composited salinity structures for CEs and AEs exhibited monopole vertical structures and sandwich-like *** AEs,large positive salinity anomalies occurred at subsurface layers of 60–180 m with a peak value of about 0.07,and weak negative values were observed above 60m and below 180 m.A similar vertical structure but with an opposite sign operates for *** composited CE and AE caused an equatorward salt flux with values of−8.1×10^(4)and−2.2×10^(4)kg s^(−1),*** caused an equatorward heat flux of−7.7×10^(11)W,and AEs induced a poleward flux of 1.5×1011 W.

This paper will examine the core competency of the Parliamentary staff of Myanmar based on their levels of knowledge,attitude and *** parliament has three houses namely Pyithu Hluttaw（Lower House）,Amyotha Hluttaw（Upper House）and Pyidaungsu Hluttaw（Union Assembly）.Each house has its own parliamentary *** the functions and responsibilities of secretariat are similar to each other,the research will be done only for the secretariat of Pyithu Hluttaw to identify overall performances and core competencies of the parliamentary *** order to identify the core competencies,survey questionnaires will be developed to tap into the level of knowledge,attitude of skills of the staff ranging from Senior Clerks to the Director General and the results will be calculated and analyzed using SPSS statics *** findings of the survey will then be assessed through scholarly researches and appropriate recommendations will be presented on how to improve the areas of weakness and how the parliament should develop the core competencies of the staff so that the parliamentary staff will become more efficient,more capable and more professional in helping the nation in its transformation towards democracy.

Diketopyrrolopyrrole(DPP)is one of the most promising building blocks for constructing polymer semiconductors with high charge-carrier mobilities in organic field-effect transistors(OFETs).In this study,a novel DPP-based conjugated polymer,PDPPy-BDD,was designed and *** ambipolar field-effect transistor characteristics were realized with the average hole and electron mobilities of 3.5×10^(-3)and 3.07×10^(-2)cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1),*** the hole and electron mobilities could be successfully en-hanced by using a tetramethylammonium iodide(NMe4l)*** an enhancement was attributed to the formation of stronger interchainπ-πstackings,the weakening of the face-on packing orientation in the thin film state,and the higher channel conductivi-ties in the OFETs.

Background:International non-governmental organizations(INGOs)have been implementing community-based tuberculosis(TB)care(CBTBC)in Myanmar since *** the National TB Programme(NTP)ultimately plans to take over CBTBC,there have been no evaluations of the models of care or of the costs of providing CBTBC in Myanmar by ***:This was a descriptive study using routinely-collected programmatic and financial data from four INGOs during 2013 and 2014,adjusted for *** analysis was performed from the provider *** for sputum examination were not included as it was provided free of charge by *** calculated the average cost per year of each programme and cost per patient completing ***:Four INGOs assisted the NTP by providing CBTBC in areas where access to TB services was *** INGO faced different issues in their contexts and responded with a diversity of *** total costs ranged from US$140754 to US$550221 during the study *** cost per patient completing treatment ranged from US$215 to US$1076 for new cases and US$354 to US$1215 for retreatment cases,depending on the targeted area and the package of services *** INGO appeared less costly,more sustainable and patient oriented than ***:This study revealed a wide variety of models of care and associated costs for implementing CBTBC in diverse and challenging populations and contexts in ***,we recommend a more comprehensive evaluation,including development of a cost model,to estimate the costs of scaling up CBTBC country-wide,and cost-effectiveness studies,to best inform the NTP as it prepares to takeover CBTBC activities from *** awaiting evidence from these studies,model of CBTBC that have higher sustainability potential and allocate more resources to patient-centered care should be given priority support.

Designing a location update strategy for free-moving and network-constrained objects with varying velocity

Spatio-temporal databases aim at appropriately managing moving objects so as to support various types of queries. While much research has been conducted on developing query processing techniques, less effort has been made to address the issue of when and how to update location information of moving objects. Previous work shifts the workload of processing updates to each object which usually has limited CPU and battery capacities. This results in a tremendous processing overhead for each moving object. In this paper, we focus on designing efficient update strategies for two important types of moving objects, free-moving objects(FMOs) and network-constrained objects(NCOs), which are classified based on object movement models. For FMOs, we develop a novel update strategy, namely the FMO update strategy(FMOUS), to explicitly indicate a time point at which the object needs to update location information. As each object knows in advance when to update(meaning that it does not have to continuously check), the processing overhead can be greatly reduced. In addition, the FMO update procedure(FMOUP) is designed to efficiently process the updates issued from moving objects. Similarly, for NCOs, we propose the NCO update strategy(NCOUS) and the NCO update procedure(NCOUP) to inform each object when and how to update location information. Extensive experiments are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed update strategies.
