The conventional power systems are evolving as smart *** recent times cyberattacks on smart grids have been *** different attacks,False Data Injection(FDI)is considered as an emerging threat that has significant *** exploiting the vulnerabilities of IEC 61850 Generic Object-Oriented Substation Events(GOOSE)and Sam-pled Values(SV)attackers can launch different FDI *** this paper,a real-time set up capable of simulating FDI on GOOSE and SV protocols is developed to evaluate the impact of such attacks on power *** 62351 stipulates cybersecurity guidelines for GOOSE and SV,but only at communication or Information Technology(IT)*** there is a need to develop a holistic security both at IT and Operation Technology(OT)*** this regard,a novel sequence content resolver-based hybrid security scheme suitable to tackle FDI attacks on GOOSE and SV is ***,the computational performance of the proposed hybrid security scheme is presented to demonstrate its applicability to the time critical GOOSE and SV protocols.

Modeling and simulation allow methodical variation of material properties beyond the capacity of experimental methods. Due to the hexagonal structure of graphene, it is considered as frame-like structure. In the frame, covalent C-C bonds are taken as beams joined together with carbon atoms placed at the joints. Uniaxial beam elements, defined by their cross-sectional area, material properties, and moment of inertia represent the covalent bonds. The parameters of the beam elements are determined by establishing equivalence between structural and computational mechanics. However, the bonds connecting the carbon atoms do not have physical existence as they are a compromise between attractive and repulsive forces. Also, defects at nanoscale make graphene different from frame-like structure. In addition, the topography of graphene makes it non-linear structure and even the axial loading changes to eccentric loading. Here we show that, by using basic statics principles, disparities between graphene and frame-likes structures can be highlighted.

Scheduling a sports tournament is a complex optimization problem,which requires a large number of hard constraints to *** the availability of several such constraints in the literature,there remains a gap sincemost of the new sports events pose their own unique set of requirements,and demand novel *** talking of the strictly time bound events,ensuring fairness between the different teams in terms of their rest days,traveling,and the number of successive games they play,becomes a difficult task to resolve,and demands *** this work,we present a similar situation with a recently played sports event,where a suboptimal schedule favored some of the sides more than the *** introduce various competitive parameters to draw a fairness comparison between the sides and propose a weighting criterion to point out the sides that enjoyed this schedule more than the ***,we use root mean squared error between an ideal schedule and the actual ones for each side to determine unfairness in the distribution of rest days across their entire *** latter is crucial,since successively playing a large number of games may lead to sportsmen burnout,which must be prevented.

This paper presents a block-based secure and robust watermarking technique for color images based on multi-resolution decomposition and *** principal objective of the presented scheme is to simultaneously meet all the four requirements(robustness,security,imperceptibility,and capacity)of a good watermarking *** contribution of this study is to basically achieve the four contradictory requirements that a good watermarking scheme must *** do so,different approaches are combined in a way that the four requirements are *** instance,to obtain imperceptibility,the three color channels(red,green,and blue)are de-correlated using principal component analysis,and the first principal component(de-correlated red channel)is chosen for watermark ***,to achieve robustness,the de-correlated channel is decomposed using a discrete wavelet transform(DWT),and the approximate band(the other three bands are kept intact to preserve the edge information)is further decomposed into distinct *** random blocks are chosen based on a random generated *** random selected blocks are further broken down into singular values and *** on the mutual dependency on singular values and vectors’matrices,the values are modified depending on the watermarking bits,and their locations are saved and used as another key,required when the watermark is to be ***,two-level authentication levels ensure the security,and using both singular values and vectors increases the capacity of the presented ***,the involvement of both left and right singular vectors along with singular values in the watermarking embedding process strengthens the robustness of the proposed ***,to compare the presented scheme with the state-of-the-art schemes in terms of imperceptibility(peak signal-to-noise ratio and structural similarity index),security(with numerous fake keys),robustness(normalized correlation and bit error rate)

This study presents the fabrication and temperature sensing properties of sensors based on aluminium phthalocyanine chloride （AlPcCl） thin films. To fabricate the sensors, 50-nm-thick electrodes with 50-μ gaps between them are deposited on glass substrates. AlPcCl thin films with thickness of 50–100 nm are deposited in the gap between electrodes by thermal evaporation. The resistance of the sensors decreases with increasing thickness and the annealing at 100 ℃ results in an increase in the initial resistance of sensors up to 24%. The sensing mechanism is based on the change in resistance with temperature. For temperature varying from 25 ℃ to 80 ℃, the change in resistance is up to 60%. Simulation is carried out and results obtained coincide with experimental data with an error of ±1%.

The International Prostate Forum （IPF） originally started with three urology departments in Japan, Turkey, and the United States. The forum emphasized discussions and presentations of new knowledge in all areas of prostate diseases with an early emphasis on ultrasound and diagnostics. The meeting has generally run every 2 years and rotated through the three sites with new leadersjoining the effort. Over the years, the meeting has enjoyed a diverse locale and points of emphasis. The latter agendas now cover all aspects of the benign prostate disease, prostate cancer screening, prostate cancer diagnosis and staging, and therapies. Table 1 summarizes the dates of the meetings, locations, and chairman.

Friction stir welding（FSW） is a solid-state welding process which is capable of joining materials which are relatively difficult to be welded by fusion welding process. Further, this process is highly energy-efficient and environmental-friendly as compared to the fusion welding. Despite several advantages of FSW over fusion welding, the thermal cycles involved in FSW cause softening in joints generally in heat-treatable aluminum alloys（AAs） due to the dissolution or coarsening of the strengthening precipitates leading to decrease in mechanical properties. Underwater friction stir welding（UFSW） can be a process of choice to overcome these limitations. This process is suitable for alloys that are sensitive to heating during the welding and is widely used for heat-treatable AAs. The purpose of this article is to provide comprehensive literature review on current status and development of UFSW and its importance in comparison to FSW with an aim to discuss and summarize different aspects of UFSW. Specific attention is given to basic principle including material flow, temperature generation, process parameters, microstructure and mechanical properties. From the review, it is concluded that UFSW is an improved method compared with FSW for improving joint strength. Academicians, researchers and practitioners would be benefitted from this article as it compiles significantly important knowledge pertaining to UFSW.

In this article, our proposed kernel estimator, named as Gumbel kernel, which broadened the class of non-negative, asymmetric kernel density estimators. Such kernel estimator can be used in nonparametric estimation of the probability density function (pdf). When the density functions have limited bounded support on [0, ∞) and they are liberated of boundary bias, always non-negative and obtain the optimal rate of convergence for the mean integrated squared error (MISE). The bias, variance and the optimal bandwidth of the proposed estimators are investigated on theoretical grounds as well as on simulation basis. Further, the applicability of the proposed estimator is compared to Weibull kernel estimator, where performance of newly proposed kernel is outstanding.

Clustering algorithms optimization can minimize topology maintenance overhead in large scale vehicular Ad hoc networks(VANETs)for smart transportation that results from dynamic topology,limited resources and noncentralized *** performance of a clustering algorithm varies with the underlying mobility model to address the topology maintenance overhead issue in VANETs for smart *** design a robust clustering algorithm,careful attention must be paid to components like mobility models and performance objectives.A clustering algorithm may not perform well with every mobility ***,we propose a supervisory protocol(SP)that observes the mobility pattern of vehicles and identies the realistic Mobility model through microscopic *** analytical model can be used to determine an efcient clustering algorithm for a specic mobility model(MM).SP selects the best clustering scheme according to the mobility model and guarantees a consistent performance throughout VANET *** simulation has performed in three parts that is the central part simulation for setting up the clustering environment,In the second part the clustering algorithms are tested for efciency in a constrained atmosphere for some time and the third part represents the proposed *** simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms clustering algorithms such as honey bee algorithm-based clustering and memetic clustering in terms of cluster count,re-afliation rate,control overhead and cluster lifetime.
