Absence of input of new ideas and paucity of relevant assumption, research question and hypothesis are the reasons why consciousness has not yet found its place in any of the algorithms of science. By weaving several novel ideas in series, in parallel and at multiple levels overarching several disciplines, a distinct roadmap has been drawn for a dispassionate consciousness research. Several workable propositions in the paper, interdisciplinary in its true sense, might lead to opening of multiple new doors of science.

Properties of boron doped ZnO films prepared by reactive sputtering method: Application to amorphous silicon thin film solar cells

Reactive sputtered boron-doped zinc oxide(BZO) film was deposited from argon,hydrogen and boron gas *** reactive sputtering technique provides us the flexibility of changing the boron concentration in the produced films by using the same intrinsic zinc oxide *** surface was obtained in the as-deposited *** surface morphology and the opto-electronic properties of the films can be controlled by simply varying the gas concentration *** varying the gas concentration ratio,the best obtained resistivity ~6.51×10^-4Ω-cm,mobility ~19.05 cm^2 V^-1 s^-1 and sheet resistance ~7.23Ω/□ were *** lower wavelength of light,the response of the deposited films improves with the increase of boron in the gas mixture and the overall transmission in the wavelength region 350-1100 nm of all the films are>85 %.We also fabricated amorphous silicon(a-Si) thin film solar cell on the best obtained BZO *** overall efficiency of the a-Si solar cell is 8.14 %,found on optimized BZO layer.

Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+:Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 and Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+):Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors, synthesized by chemical co-precipitation technique were characterized through XRD,FESEM,dynamic light scattering(DLS),diffuse reflectance, photoluminescence, photometric and decay time analysis. The enhancement of about～28, ～149 and ～351 times in the green upconversion emission band is observed for the optimized Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+),Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Li^+ and Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+):Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors in comparison to the singly Er^(3+) doped nanophosphors. The electric dipole-dipole interaction is found to be responsible for the concentration quenching. The temperature dependent behaviour of the two green thermally coupled levels of the Er^(3+) ions based on the fluorescence intensity ratio technique was studied. The maximum sensor sensitivity ～38.7 × 10^(-3) K^(-1) at 473 K for optimized Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Zn^(2+) codoped Gd_2(MoO_4)_3 nanophosphors is reported with maximum population redistribution ability～88% among the ~2H_(11/2) and ~4S_(3/2) levels.

Optics is a potential candidate in information, data, and image processing. In all-optical data and information processing, optics has been used as information carrying signal because of its inherent advantages of parallelism. Several optical methods are proposed in support of the above processing. In many algebraic, arithmetic, and image processing schemes fundamental logic and memory operations are conducted exploring all-optical devices. In this communication we report an all-optical matrix multiplication operation with non-linear material based switching circuit.

Doping in pristine 2 D materials brings about the advantage of modulating wide range of mechanical properties ***,intrinsic defects(such as Stone-Wales and nanopore) in such hybrid materials are inevitable due to complex manu facturing and synthesis *** that,de fects and irregularities can be intentionally induced in a pristine nanostructure for multi-synchronous modulation of various multi-functional *** the case may be,in order to realistically analyse a doped graphene sheet,it is of utmost importance to investigate the compound effect of doping and defects in such 2 D *** we present a molecular dynamics based investigation for probing mechanical properties(such as Young’s modulus,post-elastic behaviour,failure strength and strain)of doped graphene(C14 and Si) coupling the effect of inevitable *** sensitivity of defect and doping are systematically analyzed considering different rational *** study reveals the effects of individual defects and doping along with their possible compounded influences on the failure stress,failure strain,Young’s modulus and constitutive relations beyond the elastic *** detailed mechanical characterization under the practically relevant compound effects would allow us to access the viability of adopting doped graphene in various multifunctional nanoelectromechanical devices and systems in a realistic situation.

The crystal structure and surface morphology of the Er^(3+)/Yb^(3+)/Na+:ZnWO_(4) phosphors synthesized by solid state reaction method were analyzed by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM) *** frequency upconversion(UC) emission study in the developed phosphors was investigated by using 980 nm laser diode *** effect of codoping in the Er^(3+):ZnWO_(4) phosphors on the UC emission intensity was *** UC emission bands that are exhibited in the blue(490 nm),green(530,552 nm),red(668 nm) and NIR(800 nm) region correspond to the ^(4)F_(7/2)→^(4)I_(15/2).^(2)H_(11/2),^(4)S_(3/2)→^(4)I_(15/2),^(4)F_(9/2)→^(4)I_(15/2) and ^(4)I9/2→^(4)I_(15/2) transitions,*** temperature sensing performance of the Er^(3+)-Yb^(3+)-Na+:ZnWO_(4) phosphors was investigated based on the 2 H_(11/2)→^(4)I_(15/2) and ^(4)S_(3/2)→^(4)I_(15/2) thermally coupled transitions of the Er^(3+)*** photometric study was also carried out for the developed phosphors.

In the field of optical computing and parallel information processing, several number systems have been used for different arithmetic and algebraic operations. Therefore an efficient conversion scheme from one number system to another is very important. Modified trinary number （MTN） has already taken a significant role towards carry and borrow free arithmetic operations. In this communication, we propose a tree-net architecture based all optical conversion scheme from binary number to its MTN form. Optical switch using nonlinear material （NLM） plays an important role.
