Superiority of Strontium-Doped Barium Titanate as an Electron Transport for Perovskite Solar Cells for Enhanced Efficiency and Thermal Stability

This study presents a detailed comparative analysis of three electron transport layer（ETL） materials for perovskite solar cells（PSCs）,namely titanium dioxide（TiO2）,barium titanate（BaTiO3or BTO）,and strontium-doped barium titanate(Ba1-xSrxTiO3or BST),and their impact on the quantum efficiency（QE） and power conversion efficiency（PCE） of CH3NH3PbI3（MAPbI3） *** optimized structure demonstrates that devices utilizing BST as an ETL achieved the highest PCE of 29.85%,exhibiting superior thermal stability with the lowest temperature coefficient of-0.43%/*** temperature-induced degradation is comparable to that of commercially available silicon ***,BST-based ETLs show 29.50% and 26.48% higher PCE than those of TiO2-based and BTO-based *** enhanced internal QE and favorable current density-voltage（J-V） characteristics of BST compared with those of TiO2and BTO are attributed to its improved charge carrier separation,reduced recombination rates,and robust electrical characteristics under varied environmental ***,the electric field and generation rate of the BST-based ETLs show a more favorable distribution than those of the TiO2-based and BTO-based *** findings provide significant insights into the role of different ETLs in enhancing QE,indicating that BST is a superior ETL that enhances both the efficiency and stability of *** study contributes to the understanding of how perovskite-structured ETLs can be used to design and optimize highly efficient and stable photovoltaic devices.

Tuning the electronic structure of the electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is a promising way to achieve efficient alkaline water splitting for clean energy production(H2).At first,this paper introduces the significance of the tuning of electronic structure,where modifying the electronic structure of the electrocatalysts could generate active sites having optimal adsorption energy with OER intermediates,and that could diminish the energy barrier for OER,and that could improve the activity for ***,this paper reviews the tuning of electronic structure along with catalytic performances,synthetic methodologies,chemical properties,and DFT calculations on various nanostructured earth-abundant electrocatalysts for OER in alkaline ***,this review discusses the tuning of the electronic structure of the several nanostructured earth-abundant electrocatalysts including oxide,(oxy)hydroxide,layered double hydroxide,alloy,metal phosphide/phosphate,nitride,sulfide,selenide,carbon containing materials,MOF,core-shell/hetero/hollow structured materials,and materials with vacancies/defects for OER in alkaline environment(including activity:overpotential(η)of ≤200 mV at10 m A cm^(-2);stability:≥100 h;durability:≥5000 cycles).Then,this review discusses the robust stability of the electrocatalysts for OER towards practical ***,this review discusses the in situ formation of thin layer on the catalyst surface during *** addition,this review discusses the influence of the adsorption energy of the OER intermediates on OER performance of the ***,this review summarizes the various promising strategies for tuning the electronic structure of the electrocatalysts to achieve enhanced performance for OER in alkaline environment.

The Knowledge Economic City (KEC) of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah is one of the major projects and represents the cornerstone for the new development activities for Al Madinah. The study area contains different geological units dominated by basalt and overlain by surface deposits. The surface soils vary in thickness and can be classified into well-graded SAND with silt and gravel (SW-SM), silty SAND with gravel (SM), silty GRAVEL with sand (GM), and sandy SILTY clay (CL-ML). The subsurface soil obtained from the drilled boreholes can be classified into poorly graded GRAVEL (GP), well-graded GRAVEL with sand (GW), poorly graded GRAVEL with silt (GP-GM), silty CLAYEY gravel with sand (GC-GM), silty SAND with gravel (SM), silt with SAND (ML), and silty CLAY with sand (CL-ML), sandy lean CLAY (CL), and lean CLAY (CL). The relative density of the deposit and the different gravel sizes intercalated with the soil influenced the Standard Penetration Test (SPT) values. The SPT N values are high and approach refusal even at shallow depths. The shallow refusal depth (0.10 to 0.90 m) of the Dynamic Cone Penetration Test (DCPT) was observed. Generally, the soil can be described as inactive with low plasticity and dense to very dense consistency. The basalt of the KEC site is characterized by slightly (W2) to highly (W4) weathering, their strength ranges from moderate (S4) to very strong (S2), and the Rock Quality Designation (RQD) ranges from very poor (R5) to excellent (R1). The engineering geological map of the KEC characterized the geoengineering properties of the soil and rock materials and classified them into many zones. The high sulphate (SO42−) and chloride (Cl−) contents in groundwater call for protective measures for foundation concrete. The current study revealed that geohazard(s) mitigation measures concerning floods, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes should be considered.

Socio-Economic Characteristics of Lagoon Cattle Farmers in Côte d’Ivoire

This study examines the socio-economic profile of livestock farmers in coastal Côte d’Ivoire. A total of 43 people were interviewed using well-structured questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive methods. The results showed that local Lagoon breeders are divided into two zones: southwest and southeast. Breeders in the south-western region are generally located in two sub-prefectures of the Tabou Department (Grabo and Oulodio). Tabou’s department alone accounts for 42% of the Lagoon breed in Côte d’Ivoire. Agriculture in this area is traditionally sedentary, practiced for social reasons. On the other hand, the south-eastern zone, located in the departments of Aboisso, Adzopé, Agboville, Grand-Lahou, Jacqueville, Abidjan, Dabou and Sikensi, represents 58% of the Lagoon breeding area in Côte d’Ivoire. This second group is characterised by improved breeding. Most of the farmers interviewed in this zone breed for economic reasons. However, the risk of cross-breeding, which already affects the local Lagoon breed, could be increased by the presence of other species such as the Zebu and Ndamas, or even the Baoulé, in this south-eastern herd.

Two-Fold and Symmetric Repeatability Rates for Comparing Keypoint Detectors

The repeatability rate is an important measure for evaluating and comparing the performance of keypoint *** repeatability rate measurementswere used in the literature to assess the effectiveness of keypoint *** these repeatability rates are calculated for pairs of images,the general assumption is that the reference image is often known and unchanging compared to other images in the same ***,these rates are asymmetrical as they require calculations in only one *** addition,the image domain in which these computations take place substantially affects their *** presented scatter diagram plots illustrate how these directional repeatability rates vary in relation to the size of the neighboring region in each pair of ***,both directional repeatability rates for the same image pair must be included when comparing different keypoint *** paper,firstly,examines several commonly utilized repeatability rate measures for keypoint detector *** researcher then suggests computing a two-fold repeatability rate to assess keypoint detector performance on similar scene ***,the symmetric mean repeatability rate metric is computed using the given two-fold repeatability ***,these measurements are validated using well-known keypoint detectors on different image groups with various geometric and photometric attributes.

New Improved Ranked Set Sampling Designs with an Application to Real Data

This article proposes two new Ranked Set Sampling(RSS)designs for estimating the population parameters:Simple Z Ranked Set Sampling(SZRSS)and Generalized Z Ranked Set Sampling(GZRSS).These designs provide unbiased estimators for the mean of symmetric *** is shown that for non-uniform symmetric distributions,the estimators of the mean under the suggested designs are more efcient than those obtained by RSS,Simple Random Sampling(SRS),extreme RSS and truncation based RSS ***,the proposed RSS schemes outperform other RSS schemes and provide more efcient estimates than their competitors under imperfect *** suggested mean estimators under perfect and imperfect rankings are more efcient than the linear regression estimator under *** proposed RSS designs are also extended to cover the estimation of the population *** data is used to examine wthe usefulness and efciency of our estimators.

Neoproterozoic U-Th-REE-bearing Pegmatites in Wadi Ibib, South Eastern Desert, Egypt: Structural and Geochemical Measures for a Syn-Tectonic Anatectic Model of Formation

The Wadi Ibib area is situated in the northern part of the Neoproterozoic Hamisana Shear Zone(HSZ), which is a high strain zone evolved during the late stages of the Pan-African orogeny, likely as a tectonic escape structure. Amphibolite facies pelitic metasedimentary windows crop out in the axial parts of the HSZ and are noticeably associated with numerous N-trending pegmatite dikes. Whole-rock geochemistry of the pegmatites reveals a peraluminous(S-type) affinity, with low K/Rb ratios and elevated concentrations of U, Th, REE, Rb, Li, Cs, Y, Nb and Ta. Structurally, the pegmatite sets intrude along the shear plane of the HSZ, corresponding to the regional N-trending tectonic fabrics, such as axial planar foliation and dextral-shearing in the metasedimentary host rock. Field relationships, including structural context, coupled with geochemical characteristics of the Wadi Ibib pegmatites, do not support their formation as a complementary part of evolved granitic magmas. Space-localized decompression-induced partial melting of peraluminous garnet-bearing metapelites was alternatively the underlying process for formation of these pegmatites. Such decompression was associated with regional escape tectonics and stress axes permutations during the late deformation stage(D3) in the evolution of the south Eastern Desert terrane, due to end-orogeny system pressure-release.

Rosa arabica Cré*** a perennial shrub belonging to the family *** is endemic to the high mountain area of *** Protected Area(SCPA)in southern Sinai,Egypt,and is listed as one of the most 100 threatened plants in the ***,it has been listed as critically endangered by IUCN Red List due to its small extent of occurrence and tiny population *** reported the continuous decline in habitat quality for this species and the urgent need to carry out on-ground conservation ***,this research aims to conserve Rosa arabica through in situ practices by implementing the following steps,respectively:a)evaluate the current conservation status through IUCN Red List to extract the environmental factors controlling the species’distribution necessary for establishing the recovery program,b)determine the potential species habitat suitability under the current climate conditions using Maxent,and c)based on the previous two steps,the translocation process for *** in the suitable habitat will be done after the simple layering process as one of the most effective traditional vegetative methods for wild cultivation for this *** steps aimed to reduce the impact of threats and the risk of extinction through increasing the population size,the Extent of Occurrence(EOO),and the Area of Occupancy(AOO).We extracted the environmental factors controlling the target species’distribution and habitat suitability range using the IUCN Red List assessment and Species Distribution Model(SDM).The most suitable habitat for *** is predicted in the middle northern parts of SCPA,with the highest suitability in the High *** of driest quarter,precipitation of wettest month,precipitation of coldest quarter,and aspect are the highest mean contributors determining the distribution of *** in *** arabica potential distribution covers 324.4 km^(2)(7.46%)of the total SCPA area(4350 km^(2)).This area is divided into:18.1 km^(2)high

In situ infiltration-precipitation processes in some rock systems

We carry out a chemical treatment(acidization or basification)of typical rock specimens in-situ,and characterize the emerging pattern resulting from the infil-tration-precipitation *** and limestone sam-ples were treated with sulfuric acid,while pyrite was reacted with sodium *** infiltration tech-niques were employed,after selection of the most feasible method for each rock *** patterns of anglesite(PbSO_(4)),anhydrite(CaSO_(4))and goethite(FeOOH)depo-sition presented different alteration modes of the bare rock *** the three deposited minerals,only the anhydrite(CaSO_(4))displayed a band *** formation of a Liesegang pattern in the rock of highest porosity indicates a plausible correlation between the band formation and a minimum porosity requirement.A banded rock of compact texture could then be formed by a cementation mechanism,governing the long time evolution of the rock.

Characterization of Ceramic Filled Polymer Matrix Composite Used for Biomedical Applications

A particulate composite material was prepared by adding (CaCO3, CaO, MgCO3, MgO) ceramic particles with particle size of (2 (0.5% wt.). The results had revealed that the maximum values of tensile strength, compression, bending strength, hardness, impact energy and water absorption%, were (57.6828 N/mm2 at 3% wt. CaCO3, 124.0965 N/mm2 at 9% wt. CaCO3, 102.188 N/mm2 at 9% wt. MgO, 88.2 Shore D at 9% wt. CaCO3, 0.27 J at 6%wt. CaCO3 and 0.8432 % at 15%***) compared with reference values, i.e.( 37.4742 N/mm2, 100.3563 N/mm2, 34.194 N/mm2, 83 Shore D, 0.36 J and 0.2626%) respectively.
