We study the multisubband electron mobility in a barrier delta doped AlχGal-χAs parabolic quantum well structure under the influence of an applied electric field perpendicular to the interface plane. We consider the alloy fraction χ = 0.3 for barriers and vary x from 0.0 to 0.1 for the parabolic well. Electrons diffuse into the well and confine within the triangular like potentials near the interfaces due to Coulomb interaction with ionized donors. The parabolic structure potential, being opposite in nature, partly compensates the Coulomb potential. The external electric field further amends the potential structure leading to an asymmetric potential profile. Accordingly the energy levels, wave functions and occupation of subbands change. We calculate low temperature electron mobility as a function of the electric field and show that when two subbands are occupied, the mobility is mostly dominated by ionised impurity scattering mediated by intersubband effects. As the field increases transition from double subband to single subband occupancy occurs. A sudden enhancement in mobility is obtained due to curtailment of intersubband effects. Thereafter the mobility is governed by both impurity and alloy disorder scatterings. Our analysis of mobility as a function of the electric field for different structural parameters shows interesting results.

Silk fibroin/xanthan scaffolds were prepared by blending silk fibroin and xanthan in the ratios 80SF:20Xa(SFX82),60SF:40Xa(SFX64),and 50SF:50Xa(SFX55)using freeze drying ***-vitro degradation behavior of the prepared scaffolds was studied for 37 days in phosphate buffer *** degradation rate was the function of silk fibroin,xanthan and^-crystallite contents in the silk fibroin/xanthan ***82 degraded extremely slowly whereas SFX55 showed faster degradation *** xanthan was the main contributor of weight ***82 and SFX64 exhibited surface degradation whereas SFX55 showed bulk degradation which indicated that higher silk fibroin ratios favor surface *** to bulk degradation,SFX55 showed maximum surface roughness among the composite *** FTIR spectrum revealed total loss of xanthan from the composites after *** broad and low-intensity peaks in the FTIR spectrum of composite scaffolds con finned reduction in 0-sheet crystallite content during *** analysis also confirmed reduction in 0-sheet crystals and revealed that degraded composite scaffold had predominantly amorphous *** degraded scaffold showed higher porous structure than the non-degraded *** in vitro degradability testing gives a good approximation of degradation of scaffold in vivo and helps in designing a robust biopolymeric composite scaffold for tissue engineering.

We examine the reflection and transmission phenomena of quasi-longitudinal plane(QP)waves in an AlN-ZnO laminated composite *** structure is designed under the influence of the initial stresses in which one carrier piezoelectric semiconductor(PSC)half-space is in welded contact with another PSC *** secular equations in the transversely isotropic PSC material are derived from the general dynamic equation,taking the initial stresses into *** is shown that the incident quasi-longitudinal wave(QP-mode)at the interface generates four types of reflected and transmitted waves,namely,QP wave,quasi-transverse(QSV)wave,electric-acoustic(EA)wave,and carrier plane(CP)*** algebraic equations are obtained by imposing the boundary conditions on the common interface of the laminated *** and transmission coefficients of waves are obtained by implementing Cramer’s *** impacts of the initial stresses and exterior electric biasing field on the reflection and transmission coefficients of waves are investigated and presented graphically.

研究目的:依据MRI评估为参考标准,验证半月板半定量和定量的超声(US)评估是内侧半月板外凸(MME)临床诊断中更为经济实用的辅助检查。方法:本研究选取2021年11月-2023年1月就诊于南昌大学第二附属医院的50名(3名男性,47名女性;平均年龄59±8岁)膝关节慢性疼痛患者,使其同时接受超声(US)及MRI检查,其中20名患者进行了双侧膝关节的超声(US)及MRI检查。同组影像科医生分别在超声(US)和MRI上评估内侧半月板外凸(MME),并将其半定量分级如下:0(<3 mm)、1(≥3mm)。超声(US)检查分为三种体位:a.仰卧位b.非负重站立位c.负重站立位(双手各负重1kg重物)。本研究以MRI作为参考标准,使用Prism 6.0进一步评估超声(US)的诊断性能,使用kappa统计方法分析超声(US)和MRI评估之间的一致性,组内相关系数(ICC)用于评估定量分级的一致性。结果:内侧半月板外凸(MME)值的测量结果:仰卧位MRI:(3.37±1.10)mm;仰卧位超声:(3.44±1.58)mm;非负重站立位超声:(3.49±1.62)mm;负重站立位超声:(4.45±2.19)mm。当以MRI为参考时,三种体位下的超声(US)的评估准确度分别为89%、87%和91%。其中,负重站立位的超声结果与仰卧位MRI存在显著差异(P<0.001)。对于半定量评估,MRI与负重站立位超声(κ=0.80;95%CI,0.65-0.95)之间的一致性最好,与仰卧位超声(κ=0.74;95%CI,0.58-0.91)和非负重站立位超声(κ=0.72;95%CI,0.55-0.88)之间也存在较好的一致性。对于定量评估,MRI、仰卧位超声和非负重站立位超声(组内相关系数:0.84(95%CI,0.75-0.90)和0.74(95%CI,0.61-0.83))基本一致。三种体位下膝关节超声(US)对半月板内侧外凸的检测均有良好的敏感性(86%;84%;90%)和特异性(95%)。结论:我们的研究结果表明,超声(US)评估在内侧半月板外凸(MME)的检测中表现出优异的诊断性能,是评估内侧半月板外凸(MME)更经济、更方便的辅助检查方法,为后续临床研究提供了新的理论基础。

BACKGROUND Ligament flavum(LF)hypertropy is the main etiopathogenesis of lumbar canal stenosis(LCS).The purely elastic LF undergoes a morphological adaptation including a reduction in the elastic fibers and a consequent increase in the collagen content,fibrosis,cicatrization,and ***,the morphometric analysis can delineate the LF in patients with LCS from those without LCS,which would help in better understanding LCS *** To compare the histopathological changes in LF between the degenerative LCS and non-stenotic(non-LCS)*** The present prospective study was conducted in 82 patients who were divided into two groups,namely LCS and *** details of the patients such as duration of symptoms,level of involvement,and number of segments were *** LF obtained from both groups was histopathologically examined for the fibrosis score,elastic fiber degeneration,calcification,and chondroid *** details included a change in elastin and collagen percentages,elastin/collagen ratio,elastic fiber fragmentation,and ligamentocyte *** parameters were compared between the two groups by using the independent t test,Chi-square test,and Pearson’s correlation *** Out of 82 cases,74 were analysed,34 in LCS and 40 in non-LCS *** mean±SD age of presentation in LCS and non-LCS group was 49.2±8.9 and 43.1±14.3 *** LCS group(n=34)exhibited significant differences in fibrosis(P=0.002),elastic fiber degeneration(P=0.01),%elastic fragmentation(66.5±16.3 vs 29.5±16.9),%elastic,content(26.9±6.7 vs 34.7±8.4),%collagen content(63.6±10.4 vs 54.9±6.4),reduction of elastic/collagen(0.4±0.1 vs 0.6±0.1),and ligamentocyte number(39.1±19.1 vs 53.5±26.9)as compared to non-LCS group(n=40).The calcification(P=0.08)and Pearson’s correlation between duration and loss of elastin was not *** difference in LF morphology is consistent in patient’s≥40 years of age among the groups as found in

A self-similar flow behind a cylindrical shock wave is studied under the action of monochromatic radiation in a rotational axisymmetric dusty gas. The dusty gas is taken to be a mixture of small solid particles and perfect gas,and solid particles are continuously distributed in the mixture. The similarity solutions are obtained and the effects of the variation of the radiation parameter, the ratio of the density of solid particles to the initial density of the gas, the mass concentration of solid particles in the mixture and the index for the time dependent energy law are *** is observed that an increase in the radiation parameter has decaying effect on the shock waves; whereas the shock strength increases with an increase in the ratio of the density of solid particles to the initial density of the gas or the index for the time dependent energy law. Also, it is found that an increase in the radiation parameter has effect to decrease the flow variables except the density and the azimuthal component of fluid velocity. A comparison is also made between rotating and non-rotating cases.
