Long-term follow-up of kidney transplant recipients admitted to a tertiary care transplant center with SARS-CoV-2

BACKGROUND Kidney transplant recipients(KTR)are at risk of severe coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)disease and mortality after severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)*** predicted that hospitalization for COVID-19 and subsequent admission to the intensive care unit(ICU)would yield worse outcomes in *** was stratified by ICU *** of interest included risk factors for ICU admission and mortality,length of stay(LOS),respiratory symptoms at admission,all-cause graft failure at the last follow-up,and death related to *** 96 KTRs were hospitalized for SARS-COV-2 infection.21(22%)required ICU *** ICU group had longer hospital LOS(21.8 vs 8.6 days,P<0.001)and were more likely to experience graft failure(81%vs 31%,P<0.001).Of those admitted to the ICU,76%had death at last-follow up,and 71%had death related to *** factors for ICU admission included male sex(aHR:3.11,95%CI:1.04-9.34;P=0.04).Risk factors for all-cause mortality and COVID-19-related mortality included ICU admission and advanced age at SARS-CoV-2 *** was highest within a month of COVID-19 diagnosis,with the ICU group having increased risk of all-cause(aHR:11.2,95%CI:5.11-24.5;P<0.001)and COVID-19-related mortality(aHR:27.2,95%CI:8.69-84.9;P<0.001).CONCLUSION ICU admission conferred an increased risk of mortality,graft failure,and longer ***-fifth of those hospit-alized died of COVID-19,reflecting the impact of COVID-19-related morbidity and mortality among KTRs.

Extinction ratio tolerant filterless millimeter wave generation using single parallel MZM

Enhancing the spectral quality of the signal without varying the extinction ratio is a challenge for millimeter(MM)wave ***,we propose a novel extinction ratio tolerant frequency 8-tupling technique using two Mach-Zehnder modulators(MZMs)with optimal splitting ratio in parallel *** the proposed technique is not affected by extinction ratio,a high quality MM wave is still obtained with complete unwanted sideband *** non-ideal MZMs withπ/2 andπphase shifter realize MZM with optimal splitting ratio,which acts as a high extinction ratio *** 80 GHz MM wave with 62 d B optical sideband suppression ratio(OSSR)and 54 d B radio frequency sideband suppression ratio(RSSR)is generated from 10 GHz local oscillator signal at 2.4036 modulation index(MI).Performance of the present work has been evaluated using various MIs,phase drifts and extinction *** suppression ratio(SSR)greater than 10 d B is reported in a wide MI ranging from 2.36 to ***,both the SSRs are tolerant towards MZM extinction *** work is ideal for wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)applications due to its filterless characteristics.

该文采用热分解法先制备Zr-SnO_(2)中间层,再电沉积β-PbO_(2)层,成功制备了Ti/Zr-SnO_(2)/β-PbO_(2)电极。利用扫描电镜(SEM)、能量散射谱(EDS)、X射线衍射(XRD)、X射线光电子能谱(XPS)技术对电极形貌、晶体结构、元素组成等进行了分析。通过循环伏安法(CV)、电化学交流阻抗法(EIS)、加速寿命实验等测试其电化学性能,考察其电催化降解亚甲基蓝(Methylene Blue,MB)活性,优化电流密度和初始MB浓度。结果表明:Ti/Zr-SnO_(2)/β-PbO_(2)电极的表面为致密四棱锥结构,形成了非化学计量比的β-PbO_(2);与传统的Ti/β-PbO_(2)电极相比,Zr-SnO_(2)中间层可有效提高钛基涂层电极的析氧过电位;修饰电极阻抗为87.64Ω/cm2,电极加速寿命为439 min,是Ti/β-PbO_(2)电极的219.5倍,是Ti/SnO_(2)/β-PbO_(2)电极的1.71倍;在50 mA/cm2的电流密度下降解初始浓度为50.00 mg/L的MB时,180 min内MB去除率可达97%。

DERNNet:Dual Encoding Recurrent Neural Network Based Secure Optimal Routing in WSN

A Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)is constructed with numerous sensors over geographical *** basic challenge experienced while designing WSN is in increasing the network lifetime and use of low *** sensor nodes are resource constrained in nature,novel techniques are essential to improve lifetime of nodes in *** energy is considered as an important resource for sensor node which are battery powered *** WSN,energy is consumed mainly while data is being transferred among nodes in the *** research works are carried out focusing on preserving energy of nodes in the network and made network to live ***,this network is threatened by attacks like vampire attack where the network is loaded by fake ***,Dual Encoding Recurrent Neural network(DERNNet)is proposed for classifying the vampire nodes s node in the ***,the Grey Wolf Optimization(GWO)algorithm helps for transferring the data by determining best solutions to optimally select the aggregation points;thereby maximizing battery/lifetime of the network *** proposed method is evaluated with three standard approaches namely Knowledge and Intrusion Detection based Secure Atom Search Routing(KIDSASR),Risk-aware Reputation-based Trust(RaRTrust)model and Activation Function-based Trusted Neighbor Selection(AF-TNS)in terms of various *** existing methods may lead to wastage of energy due to vampire attack,which further reduce the lifetime and increase average energy consumed in the ***,the proposed DERNNet method achieves 31.4%of routing overhead,23%of end-to-end delay,78.6%of energy efficiency,94.8%of throughput,28.2%of average latency,92.4%of packet delivery ratio,85.2%of network lifetime,and 94.3%of classification accuracy.

In today’s growing modern world environment,as human food activities are changing,it is affecting human health,thus leading to diseases like *** is a complex disease with many subtypes that affect human health without premature treatment and cause *** the analysis of early diagnosis and prognosis of cancer studies can improve clinical management by analyzing various features of observa-tion,which has become necessary to classify the type in cancer *** research needs importance to organize the risk of the cancer patients based on data analysis to predict the result of premature *** paper introduces a Maximal Region-Based Candidate Feature Selection(MRCFS)for early risk diagnosing using Soft-Max Feed Forward Neural Classiﬁcation(SMF2NC)to solve the above *** predictive model is based on a different relational feature learning model,which is possessed to candidate selection to reduce the *** redundant features are processed marginal weight rates for observing similar features’variants and the absolute *** neural hidden layers are trained using the Sigmoid Activation Function(SAF)to create the logical condition for feed-forward ***,the maximal features are introduced to invite a deep neural network con-structed on the Feed Forward Recurrent Neural Network(FFRNN).The classiﬁer produces higher classiﬁcation accuracy than the previous methods and observes the cancer detection,which is recommended for early diagnosis.

Nanoparticles with non-spherical shapes are now being widely used for various photonic *** observe experimentally that the magnitude as well as the time dependence of the transient absorption of a colloid of silver nanoplatelets depends on the relative polarization of the pump and probe *** have been a few reports about the dependence of the transient signal magnitude on polarization,but little information is available on its temporal *** a theoretical model,we show that this observed behavior arises from the fact that the energy absorption by a non-spherical nanoparticle depends on,among other factors,the nanoparticle orientation with respect to the pump and probe polarization *** is essential to consider this when estimating nanoparticle characteristics such as carrier thermalization time,carrier–phonon scattering time,and complex polarizability from transient absorption measurements.
