The processes leading to the growth and inhibition of equatorial anomaly before major earthquake (EQ) were viewed in this paper by examining global Total Electron Content (TEC) that contoured over longitude sectors covering Africa to Pacific, in association with EQ events of Japan (M = 9) that occurred at 135°E to 145°E and 35°N to 40°N, on March 9 and 11, 2011 and of Indonesia (M = 8.6) that took place at 2.311°N, 93°E, in April 11, 2012. The paper focuses on the development of abnormal increase in density in the night sector around—10° latitude zone prior to the two major EQ events, though their epicenters are separated widely from the anomaly region. The F-layer density variations from relevant locations and TEC features obtained from GPS at Appleton anomaly crest station are utilized as supporting inputs. The possible sources leading to the anomalous development in density are discussed in the frame of EQ time consequences of lithospheric-atmospheric processes between the equator and beyond. The role of electric field generated by pre EQ preparatory activities and dynamical coupling modes through seismic fault line are brought in to the ambit of discussion.

In this paper,the proton structure function F_(2)^(p)(x,Q^(2))at small-x is investigated using an analytical solution to the Balitsky–Kovchegov(BK)*** the context of the color dipole description of deep inelastic scattering(DIS),the structure function F_(2)^(p)(x,Q^(2))is computed by applying the analytical expression for the scattering amplitude N(k,Y)derived from the BK *** transverse momentum k and total rapidity Y,the scattering amplitude N(k,Y)represents the propagation of the quark-antiquark dipole in the color dipole description of *** the BK solution we extracted the integrated gluon density xg(x,Q^(2))and then compared our theoretical estimation with the LHAPDF global data fits,NNPDF3.1sx and ***,we have investigated the behavior of F_(2)^(p)(x,Q^(2))in the kinematic region of 10^(-5)≤x≤10^(-2)and 2.5 GeV^(2)≤Q^(2)≤60 GeV^(2).Our predicted results for F_(2)^(p)(x,Q^(2))within the specified kinematic region are in good agreement with the recent high-precision data for F_(2)^(p)(x,Q^(2))from HERA(H1 Collaboration)and the LHAPDF global parametrization group NNPDF3.1sx.

Frosting occurs due to the freezing of condensed water droplets on a supercooled *** nucleated frost propagates through interdroplet bridges and covers the entire surface,resulting from the deposition of highly supersaturated vapor surrounding tiny *** inhibition of the formation of frost bridges is not possible,the propagation of frost can be delayed by effectively removing tiny *** technologies,such as superhydrophobic surfaces(SHS)and hydrophobic slippery liquid-infused porous surfaces(SLIPS),rely on static growth and direct contact with densely distributed ***,use of these approaches in delaying frost propagation involves challenges,as the interdroplet distance remains ***,we report a new approach of spontaneous droplet movement on hydrophilic SLIPS to delay the formation of interdroplet frost *** tension forces generated by the hydrophilic oil meniscus of a large water droplet efficiently pull neighboring droplets with a diameter of less than 20μm from all *** causes a dynamic separation between water droplets and an adjacent frozen *** a process delays the formation and propagation of interdroplet frost ***,there is significant delay in frosting on hydrophilic SLIPS compared to those on SHS and hydrophobic SLIPS.

The worldwide epidemiology of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)is showing an upward trend,parallel to the rising trend of metabolic syndrome,owing to lifestyle *** pathogenesis of NAFLD has not been fully understood ***,NAFLD has emerged as a public health concern in the field of hepatology and metabolisms *** changes in the nomenclature from NAFLD to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease have brought a positive outlook changes in the understanding of the disease process and doctor-patient *** changes are the main treatment ***,clinical trial using drugs that target‘insulin resistance’which is the driving force behind NAFLD,have shown promising *** translational research is needed to better understand the underlying pathophysiological mechanism of NAFLD which may open newer avenues of therapeutic *** role of gut dysbiosis in etiopathogenesis and use of fecal microbiota modification in the treatment should be studied *** of this silent epidemic by spreading awareness and early intervention should be our priority.

水驱波及效率提升可以显著增强碳酸盐岩油藏开发效果。本文在考虑地层水离子组成基础上,借助体视显微镜和激光粒度仪配制了一种离子匹配悬浮液,其中悬浮的硫酸钙颗粒处于临界饱和状态,大部分颗粒粒径在10μm左右,静置后由于絮凝和聚集作用最大可到50μm。悬浮液的静态性质实验表明,由于硫酸钙“逆溶解度”特征和水合物的变化,其微粒会在小于45℃范围缓慢消失,并在90℃时迅速析出;矿化度和离子组成改变会使硫酸钙微粒浓度和粒径显著增大。在渗透率级差为4.7的岩心并联实验中,离子匹配悬浮液可使较低渗岩心的分流率最大提高约9.8%,最终采收率提高约4.3%。温度、压力和盐度的影响,以及注入水与地层水离子交换,使悬浮液中的饱和硫酸钙周期性溶解和沉淀,导致压力波动。压力波动使硫酸钙的溶解/沉淀特征复杂化,最终显著改变了水驱后期并联模型中的分流率。含有饱和硫酸钙的不稳定离子匹配悬浮液是从材料领域借鉴到石油领域的新尝试,具有一定提高波及效率作用。它比常规欠饱和离子匹配水驱过程中产生的不可控原位微粒更有效、更可靠、更环保。

Research on in-channel sand mining is imperative as it may have a significant impact on channel *** this quest to quantitatively comprehend the phenomenon,experimental studies were done to investigate the dynamic characteristics of the migration of a mining *** evaluation of the migration rate of a mining pit in a physical scale model has found a rise in the migration rate of the pit's upstream edge with increasing discharge.A wavelet analysis applied for analyzing scale-dependent migration of the bed profile of a mining pit also revealed similar ***,the wavelet analysis examined the length-scale dependent migration of a mining pit and a decrease in the migration rate has been observed with an increase in the length *** plan form of a pit(length-to-width ratio)governs the erosion and deposition processes around the *** physical and statistical approaches show an increase in the migration rate with an increase in the length-to-width ratio of the *** empirical formulation has been developed for calculating the migration rate of the upstream edge of a mining pit based on pit geometry(length-to-width ratio),average flow velocity,and critical shear stress of the bed *** results also show a higher bed load transport rate in the channel subjected to mining as compared to a plain bed channel.

Characteristics of dust acoustic waves in dissipative dusty plasma in the presence of trapped electrons

The formation and propagation of nonlinear dust acoustic waves（DAWs） as solitary and solitary/shock waves in an unmagnetized, homogeneous, dissipative and collisionless dusty plasma comprising negatively charged micron sized dust grains in the presence of free and trapped electrons with singly charged non-thermal positive ions is discussed in detail. The evolution characteristics of the solitary and shock waves are studied by deriving a modified Korteweg–de Vries–Burgers（mKdV–Burgers） equation using the reductive perturbation method. The mKdV–Burgers equation is solved considering the presence（absence） of dissipation. In the absence of dissipation the system admits a solitary wave solution, whereas in the presence of dissipation the system admits shock waves（both monotonic and oscillatory） as well as a combination of solitary and shock wave solutions. Standard methods of solving the evolution equation of shock（solitary） waves are used. The results are discussed numerically using standard values of plasma parameters. The findings may be useful for better understanding of formation and propagation of waves in astrophysical plasma.

The stationary solution is obtained for the K–P–Burgers equation that describes the nonlinear propagations of dust ion acoustic waves in a multi-component, collisionless, un-magnetized relativistic dusty plasma consisting of electrons, positive and negative ions in the presence of charged massive dust grains. Here, the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili(K–P) equation, threedimensional(3D) Burgers equation, and K–P–Burgers equations are derived by using the reductive perturbation method including the effects of viscosity of plasma fluid, thermal energy, ion density, and ion temperature on the structure of a dust ion acoustic shock wave(DIASW). The K–P equation predictes the existences of stationary small amplitude solitary wave,whereas the K–P–Burgers equation in the weakly relativistic regime describes the evolution of shock-like structures in such a multi-ion dusty plasma.
