The use of two-dimensional(2D)layered metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)as self-sacrificial templates has been proven to be a successful method to create high-efficiency Selenium(Se)-containing electrocatalysts for overall water ***,two strategies are then utilized to introduce Se element into the Co–Fe MOF,one being the etching of as-prepared MOF by SeO_(2) solution,and the other,the replacing of SCn−with SeCn−as the construction *** electrochemical activity of the pristine 2D MOF and their calcinated derivatives for catalyzing the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is evaluated and further *** is found that the effect of introducing Se on improving electrochemical catalytic activity is significant for the HER ***,the calcinated derivative in the replacing method exhibits an overpotential of 235 mV for HER and 270 mV for OER at a current density of 10 mA/*** comparing the two methods of introducing Se element into MOF,similar electrocatalytic activity can be achieved on the their calcinated *** high electrochemical performance of 2D CoFe-MOF derivatives may be resulted from the unique 2D hierarchical porous structure and strong synergistic effect between different components in the material.

Achieving the green development of agriculture requires the reduction of chemical nitrogen(n)fertilizer *** studies have confirmed that returning green manure to the field is an effective measure to improve crop yields while substituting partial chemical n ***,it remains unclear how to further intensify the substituting function of green manure and elucidate its underly.ng agronomic *** a split-plot field experiment in spring wheat,different green manures returned to the field under reduced chemical n supply was established in an oasis area since 2018,in order to investigate the effect of green manure and reduced n on grain yield,n uptake,n use efficiency.nUE),n nutrition index,soil organic matter,and soil n of wheat in *** results showed that mixed sown common vetch and hairy vetch can substitute 40%of chemical n fertilizer without reducing grain yield or n ***,mixed sown common vetch and hairy vetch under reduced n by 20%showed the highest n agronomy efficiency and recovery efficiency,which were 92.0%and 46.0%higher than fallow after wheat harvest and conventional n application rate,*** increase in nUE of wheat was mainly attributed to mixed sown common vetch and hairy vetch,which increased n transportation quantity and transportation rate at pre-anthesis,enhanced n harvest index,optimized n nutrition index,and increased activities of nitrate reductase and glutamine synthetase of leaf,***,mixed sown common vetch and hairy vetch under reduced n by 20%improved soil organic matter and n ***,mixed sown common vetch and hairy vetch can substitute 40%of chemical n fertilizer while maintaining grain yield and n accumulation,and it combined with reduced chemical n by 20%or 40%improved nUE of wheat via enhancing n supply and uptake.

It is well-established that high carbonization temperature will trigger the enzyme-like activity of carbon-based ***,the catalytic mechanism is still ambiguous,which hinders the further rational design of nanomaterials as enzyme ***,n,S-rich carbonized wool nanosheets(CWs)were synthesized at different pyrolysis *** expected,only CWs treated with high-temperature possess intrinsic oxidase-and peroxidase-like ***,density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrate that graphitic nitrogen and the co-existence of nitrogen and sulfur in the carbon matrix serve as the active sites for the enzyme-like *** importantly,combining theoretical calculations and experimental observations,the high-temperature triggered catalytic mechanism can be ascribed to the fact that an appropriate high-temperature maximizes the graphitization degree to a certain extent,at which most of the catalytic active sites are well retained rather than ***,coupling with excellent photothermal conversion efficiency and catalytic performance,CWs can be applied to photothermal-catalytic cancer therapy under near-infrared region(nIR)light *** believe this work will contribute to understanding the catalytic mechanism of carbon-based nanozymes and promote the development of new biomedical and pharmaceutical applications.

The calcium aluminosilicate-based glasses(CaO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2),CAS)with different Fe_(2)O_(3)content(0.10wt%,0.50wt%,0.90wt%,and 1.30wt%)were prepared by traditional melt-quenching *** glass network structure,thermal and mechanical properties,and crystallization behavior changes were investigated by.nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer,Fourier-transform infrared spectro-photometer,X-ray diffractometer,differential scanning calorimetry and field emission scanning electron microscope *** change of Q^(n)in glass structures reveals the glass network connectivity decreases due to the increasing content of Fe_(2)O_(3)addition,resulting in the increasing of non-bridging number in glass *** glass densities slightly rise from 2.644 to 2.681 g/cm^(3),while Vickers’s hardness increases at first,from 6.469 to 6.901 GPa,then slightly drops to 6.745 GPa,with Fe_(2)O_(3)content *** is almost no thermal expansion coefficient change from different Fe_(2)O_(3)*** glass transmittance in visible range gradually decreases with higher Fe_(2)O_(3)content,resulting from the strong absorption of Fe^(2+)and Fe^(3+)*** calculated activation energy from thermal analysis results first decreases from 282.70 to 231.18 kJ/mol,and then increases to 244.02 kJ/mol,with the Fe_(2)O_(3)content increasing from 0.10wt%to 1.30wt%.Meanwhile,the maximum Avrami constant of 2.33 means the CAS glasses exhibit two-dimensional *** of the CAS glass-ceramics samples contain main crystal phase of anorthite,the microstructure appears lamellar and columnar crystals.

Poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate)(PBAT)is a promising biodegradable flexible polymer but suffers from slow crystallization rate,making it less attractive for some applications like the injection-molded products in comparison with low-density polyethylene(LDPE).This work aimed to accelerate the crystallization of PBAT by adding a self-assembly.nucleating agent octamethylenedicarboxylic dibenzoylhydrazide(OMBH).PBAT/OMBH composites with various OMBH contents(0 wt%,0.5 wt%,0.7 wt%,1 wt%,2 wt%,3 wt%and 5 wt%)were prepared through *** effect of OMBH on the crystallization behavior,morphologies and mechanical properties of PBAT was *** highest nucleation efficiency value of 59.6%was achieved for PBAT with 0.7 wt%OMBH,much higher than that of 22.7%for PBAT with 0.7 wt%*** force microscopy results showed that OMBH formed fine fibers and induced the formation of transcrystalline layers of *** transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)combined with two-dimensional correlation spectra suggested that the intermolecular dipole-dipole n—H…O=C interactions but not hydrogen bond between OMBH and PBAT promoted the crystallization of PBAT in the initial period of *** presence of OMBH did not change the crystal form of PBAT but had positive contribution in enhancing its crystallinity and mechanical *** work is essential for preparing PBAT with high crystallization rate,enhancing its potential applications in injection-molded products.
