Early fire detection technology based on improved transformers in aircraft cargo compartments

The implementation of early and accurate detection of aircraft cargo compartment fire is of great significance to ensure flight *** current airborne fire detection technology mostly relies on single-parameter smoke detection using infrared *** often results in a high false alarm rate in complex air transportation *** traditional deep learning model struggles to effectively address the issue of long-term dependency in multivariate fire *** paper proposes a multi-technology collaborative fire detection method based on an improved transformers ***-wavelength optical sensors,flue gas analyzers,and other equipment are used to carry out multi-technology collaborative detection methods and characterize various feature dimensions of fire to improve detection *** improved Transformer model which integrates the self-attention mechanism and position encoding mechanism is applied to the problem of long-time series modeling of fire information from a global perspective,which effectively solves the problem of gradient disappearance and gradient explosion in traditional RNN(recurrent neural network)and CNN(convolutional neural network).Two different multi-head self-attention mechanisms are used to classify and model multivariate fire information,respectively,which solves the problem of confusing time series modeling and classification modeling in dealing with multivariate classification tasks by a single attention ***,the output results of the two models are fused through the gate *** research results show that,compared with the traditional single-feature detection technology,the multi-technology collaborative fire detection method can better capture fire *** with the traditional deep learning model,the multivariate fire pre-diction model constructed by the improved Transformer can better detect fires,and the accuracy rate is 0.995.

In recent years,research has focused heavily on the investigation of functionalized ammonium polyphosphate(APP)flame retardants to improve the fire safety of epoxy resins(EP).The reason for this is the dual nature of APP's performance in fire protection of *** article provides a comprehensive overview of the advances in the use of functionalized APP flame retardants to improve the fire resistance of EP *** then presents the improvement of the modification of the functionalized APP flame retardants in terms of the hydrophobicity,compatibility and catalytic ability of the flame retardants,as well as the effects on the fire resistance,heat resistance,smoke reduction and mechanical properties of the EP *** the summary and comparison of the relevant studies,it is clear that the functionalized APP flame retardants can effectively improve the fire safety of EP composites and offset the adverse effects of APP in EP flame retardant *** addition,APP flame retardants can obtain various excellent functions through the use of materials with different properties,and the interaction between APP and materials can also lead to more efficient fire ***,the current problem is to find ways to streamline the process and minimise the costs associated with functionalized APP flame retardants,as well as to use them effectively in industrial *** hope that this review can provide valuable hints and insights for the practical application of functionalized APP in EP and perspectives for future research.

Rapid and Sensitive Biosensing of Salmonella Using Mechanical Step Rotation and Gold@platinum Nanozymatic Amplification

Inspired by ballpoint pen, an optical biosensor is developed for detection of Salmonellausing a mechanical step rotator with a dropper to greatly simplify operation, a high gradient magnetic field with immune magnetic nanobeads to specifically separate bacteria, and immune gold@platinum nanozymes with a smartphone to sensitively detect bacteria. First, the preloaded bacterial sample is drawn by the dropper to react with the immune magnetic nanobeads through repeated squeezing and releasing of the dropper, and the rotator is successively rotated and the dropper is repeatedly squeezed and released to achieve mixing of the bacteria, magnetic nanobeads and gold@platinum nanozymes, followed by magnetic separation to remove the background. Then, the conjugates are eff ectively washed with skim milk and ultrapure water, and the substrate are rapidly catalyzed into the product. Finally, the blue product is photographed and analyzed using a smartphone to obtain the Salmonella concentration. This biosensor could detect Salmonellaas low as 56 CFU/mL in～25 min.

Comparative Analysis of ARIMA and LSTM Model-Based Anomaly Detection for Unannotated Structural Health Monitoring Data in an Immersed Tunnel

Structural Health Monitoring(SHM)systems have become a crucial tool for the operational management of long *** immersed tunnels exposed to both traffic loads and the effects of the marine environment,efficiently identifying abnormal conditions from the extensive unannotated SHM data presents a significant *** study proposed amodel-based approach for anomaly detection and conducted validation and comparative analysis of two distinct temporal predictive models using SHM data from a real immersed ***,a dynamic predictive model-based anomaly detectionmethod is proposed,which utilizes a rolling time window for modeling to achieve dynamic *** the assumption of temporal data similarity,an interval prediction value deviation was employed to determine the abnormality of the ***,dynamic predictive models were constructed based on the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average(ARIMA)and Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)*** hyperparameters of these models were optimized and selected using monitoring data from the immersed tunnel,yielding viable static and dynamic predictive ***,the models were applied within the same segment of SHM data,to validate the effectiveness of the anomaly detection approach based on dynamic predictive modeling.A detailed comparative analysis discusses the discrepancies in temporal anomaly detection between the ARIMA-and LSTM-based *** results demonstrated that the dynamic predictive modelbased anomaly detection approach was effective for dealing with unannotated SHM *** a comparison between ARIMA and LSTM,it was found that ARIMA demonstrated higher modeling efficiency,rendering it suitable for short-term *** contrast,the LSTM model exhibited greater capacity to capture long-term performance trends and enhanced early warning capabilities,thereby resulting in superior overall performance.

Attitude Tracking Control for Rigid Spacecraft with Arbitrary Convergence Time

In this paper, attitude tracking control with arbitrary convergence time for rigid spacecraft is considered. First, a novel time-varying sliding function is proposed to achieve free-will arbitrary time convergence when the system states reside on the sliding surface. With such a sliding function, an attitude tracking controller is designed to guarantee that the states of the closed-loop system converge to the sliding surface within a predetermined time in the presence of external disturbances. The free-will arbitrary time convergences of the closed-loop system and sliding function are illustrated by numerical simulations.

Effects of lipids on the activity and structural dynamics of gamma secretase: A study using coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations

Gamma secretase(GS)is an intramembranous enzyme that acts on the amyloid precursor protein and Notch inside lipid *** enzyme is responsible for amyloid-𝛽propagation,one of the well-known causes of Alzheimer’s ***,the effects of lipids on GS activity and structural dynamics are ***,in this study,we performed coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations to probe the effects of five individual lipids on *** lipids included 1-palmitoyl-2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine(POPE),1-palmitoyl2-oleoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(POPC),1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-phosphatidylcholine(DOPC),2-dimyristoyl-snglycero-3-phosphocholine(DMPC),and 1,2-dilauroyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine(DLPC).These lipids are structurally characterized by different heads(i.e.,NH_(3)[PE]for POPE ***_(3)[PC]for POPC),number of double bonds(one for POPC *** for DOPC),and alkyl tail chain lengths(16:1/18:1 for DOPC vs.14:0/14:0 for DMPC vs.12:0/12:0 for DLPC).This indicates distinct microenvironments and adjustable structural elements for catalytic function when GS is *** results revealed that the presence of more unsaturated bonds in DOPC than in POPC resulted in greater GS ***,lipids with short alkyl tail chains or with PC heads instead of PE heads had improved mobility of the sixth transmembrane helix of GS,which is responsible for the considerable active site flexibility and presenilin 1 subunit *** length of the DMPC alkyl tail chain was between that of DOPC and DLPC because the up-down and cross-correlation motions of GS in DMPC was the lowest among the three lipids,and GS mobility in DMPC was the lowest among all five *** may be because the alkyl tail chain length(i.e.,3.8 nm thickness of the DMPC bilayer)was suitable for GS embedding,thereby restraining more GS motions than that of the long(DOPC)or short lipids(DLPC).Collectively,these results indicated that GS activity can be modulated through changes in con
