Introd.ction: Musculoskeletal d.sord.rs (MSd.) are a set of peri-articular cond.tions that result mainly in pain and.functional d.scomfort. They represent a major occupational health problem in all areas of activity. The objective of this work was to d.termine the prevalence of MSd. among street vend.rs in the city of Bangui in the Central African Republic (CAR). Method.: A cross-sectional stud. was cond.cted.from September 01 to October 31, 2021 in Bangui, the capital of CAR. The stud. population consisted.of street vend.rs which were includ.d.at the entrance of 4 large markets of Bangui after giving informed.consent. The sample size, calculated.accord.ng to the Schwartz formula, was 384. Sociod.mographic d.ta (age, gend.r, level of ed.cation, marital status), professional d.ta (the d.ration of sale in hours, the d.stance traveled.per d.y);and.health d.ta (the health problems suffered.by itinerant sellers and.the means of d.aling with them) were collected.using a pre-established.self-questionnaire. This collected.d.ta was processed.using Microsoft Excel 2013 and.Epi-Info version 7 software. Results: Among 384 street vend.rs includ.d. women represented.a quarter (24.9%). The average age was 27 years;the 25-34 age group was the most represented.(50%). About two-third. (64.8%) sold.for at least 12 hours and.traveled.more than 10 km (69.3%) per d.y. The main health problems reported.by street vend.rs were musculoskeletal d.sord.rs (95.8%). Their locations concerned.the upper limbs should.r 65.36% (251), elbow 24.22% (93). Non-ergonomic postures that stress the back and.joints all d.y long, causing pain are risk factors for MSd.. These MSd. were treated.by self-med.cation with non-steroid.l anti-inflammatory d.ugs (22.0%), mainly sold.on the street. Conclusion: MSd. d.minated.the health problems of street vend.rs. These problems raise the need.for recognition and.support for these workers to optimize their performance while preserving their health through awareness and

We investigated.the effects of climate change on the d.stribution of the Asiatic ibex(Capra sibirica)in eastern *** existing climate change stud.es have been cond.cted.on the habitat of a wild.goat species in *** cond.cted.ecological niche mod.lling to compare potential present and.future d.stributions of suitable environmental cond.tions for *** to 2070,18%(2689 km^2)of the current suitable areas would.be lost,mostly located.in the southeastern and.northwestern regions of the stud. ***,new suitable habitats could.expand.outsid. the current ibex range—about 30%(4595 km^2)expansion until *** found.that the elevation,terrain roughness,seasonal temperature,and.precipitation of warmest quarter were the most important factors in the mod.ls and.had.strong correlations to ibex *** losses in the southeastern portion overlapped.most of the current locations of ibex in that *** losses were observed.in the much lower elevations of the stud. area(3500 m to 4000 m).When consid.ring both loss and.gain,the ibex could.see a net expansion to new suitable *** 30%(1379 km^2)of the average habitat gains for the Asiatic ibex in 2070 showed.a shift to northern lower temperature *** results are beneficial in planning for the potential effects on biod.versity conservation in the eastern mountain region of Tajikistan und.r climate change *** attention should.be given to the ibex populations in the southeastern region,where habitats could.become unsuitable for the species as a result of the climate-ind.ced.effects on the mountain ecosystem.

In this work, we have mod.led.and.simulated.the electrical performance of CIGS thin-film solar cell using one-d.mensional simulation software (SCAPS-1d.. Starting from a baseline mod.l that reprod.ced.the experimental results, the properties of the absorber layer and.the CIGS/Mo interface have been explored. and.the requirements for high-efficiency CIGS solar cell were proposed. Simulation results show that the band.gap, acceptor d.nsity, d.fect d.nsity are crucial parameters that affect the performance of the solar cell. The best conversion efficiency is obtained.when the absorber band.gap is around.1.2 eV, the acceptor d.nsity at 1016 cm−3 and.the d.fect d.nsity less than 1014 cm−3. In ad.ition, CIGS/Mo interface has been investigated. It appears that a thin MoSe2 layer red.ces recombination at this interface. An improvement of 1.5 to 2.5 mA/cm2 in the current d.nsity (Jsc) d.pend.ng on the absorber thickness is obtained.

The stud. investigated.whether d.etary CPE （concentrated.pomegranate peel extract） may mitigate the negative effects associated.with group mixing prior to marketing and.enhance beef meat quality. Twenty-two bull calves were reared.in triplets and.d.vid.d.to control （n = 9） and.CPE-treated.（n = 13） groups. CPE was supplemented.d.ring eight months of rearing, and.calves were mixed.34 d.prior to marketing to control and.treatment groups. Calves were monitored.for weight gain, rumination, activity, metabolic and.oxid.tive stress responses, Finally, meat quality traits were examined. The results find.that pre-mixing activity （P 〈 0.0001）, non-esterifies fatty acid. （P = 0.02） and.plasma testosterone （P = 0.005） levels were higher in the treatment group. Following mixing, activity （P 〈 0.0001 ） and.plasma anti-oxid.tive capacity （P = 0.05） increased.in the treatment compared.to the control group. In spite of the above, d.etary supplementation of CPE d.d.＇t reveal improvement of meat quality parameters by means of meat pH and.shelf life It ind.cated.that improved.serum anti-oxid.nt capacity in the CPE calves was not sufficient to prevent the mixing effects on meat quality. A combined.CPE concentration and.mixing management should.be examined.in ord.r to red.ce mixing related.effects on meat quality.

The objective of this work was to evaluate if cryostorage of Phaseolus vulgaris L. seed. ind.ced.variations in regenerated.plants at the phenotypic and.molecular levels. A series of agricultural traits was measured.on plants grown from control, non-cryopreserved.and.cryopreserved.seed., and.the genetic stability of plants of the second.generation was analysed.at selected.microsatellite loci. The phenotype of the second.generation plants was evaluated.as well. No statistically significant phenotypic d.fferences were observed.for the parameters measured. neither in the first nor in the second.generations. Averaging both treatments, about 76% of the seed. had.germinated.10 d.ys after sowing. At harvest we record.d.plants with about 73 cm in height, 13 stem internod.s, 25 fruits, 103 grains and.4 grains per fruit. One hund.ed.seed. weighted.about 26 g. The genetic analyses performed.on the second.generation plants using six nuclear Simple Sequences Repeats (SSR) markers revealed.no changes in microsatellite length between control and.cryopreserved.samples, implying that there was no effect of seed.liquid.nitrogen exposure on genome integrity. The phenotypic and.molecular results reported.here confirm that cryostorage is an efficient and.reliable technique to conserve P. vulgaris seed. and.regenerate true-to-type plants.

We refute the controversial statement that ad.iction is not a brain d.sord.r. Extensive peer-reviewed.stud.es support the und.rlying neurobiological and.neurogenetic basis of ad.iction’s “d.sease mod.l”. In the 70s and.80s, a few clinical scientists suggested.that it is possible to use behavioral training to teach controlled.d.inking. However, this controversial mod.l failed.d.astically and.increased.labeling and.stigmatization. Ad.itionally, it was unhelpful in the search for treatment. Instead. we assert that ad.iction is a neuropsychiatric d.sord.r characterized.by a recurring d.sire to continue taking substances d.spite harmful physical and.mental consequences. Work from our laboratory in 1995 supported.the Reward.d.ficiency Synd.ome (Rd.) concept based.on a common neurogenetic mechanism (hypod.paminergia) that und.rlies all substance and.non-substance ad.ictions. Non-substance ad.ictions includ. behaviors like pathological gambling, internet ad.iction, and.mobile phone ad.iction. Certain impulsive and.compulsive behaviors or the acute intake of psychoactive substances result in heightened.d.paminergic activity, while the opposite, hypod.paminergia, occurs following chronic abuse. Patients with Substance Use d.sord.r (SUd. can have a genetic pred.sposition compound.d.by stress or other epigenetic insults that can impact recovery. Relapse will occur post-short-term recovery if d.paminergic d.sfunction remains untreated. Ad.iction, a brain d.sord.r, requires treatment with d.A-d.rected.pro-d.pamine regulation and.rehabilitation.
