A primary objective of botanical gardens is to conserve threatened plant species from different regions and ***,such ex-situ conservation practices for exotic plant species may pose a significant plant invasion *** this study,we predict the naturalization probability of exotic threatened plant species of Cibodas Botanical Garden(CBG) collections based on leaf trait(specific leaf area,SLA) or as a function of invasion risk assessment scoring system(Tropical Weed Risk Assessment Protocol,TWRAP).We found that SLA and TWRAP were positively correlated with naturalization *** TWRAP model produced higher predictive probabilities with larger uncertainty compared to SLA *** cereifera and Burretiodendron hsienmu are two species that have highest naturalization probability based on SLA *** oblongata has the highest naturalization probability based on TWRAP *** practical and management point of view,we recommend the simultaneous use of SLA-based and TWRAP-based invasive species risk assessment to estimate the naturalization risk of exotic threatened collections of botanical gardens to adjacent mountain ***,given the important conservation value of threatened exotic collection of botanical garden,we need to be aware with the invasion risks of these *** threatened condition of a plant species is not only caused by its natural characteristics but also may be caused(in fact mostly confounding with) by external disturbance either natural catastrophic or human related ***,a threatened species may not necessarily a noninvasive species outside their natural distribution ranges.

Given the existing integrated scheduling algorithms,all processes are ordered and scheduled overall,and these algorithms ignore the influence of the vertical and horizontal characteristics of the product process tree on the product scheduling *** paper presents an integrated scheduling algorithm for the same equipment process sequencing based on the Root-Subtree horizontal and vertical pre-scheduling to solve the above ***,the tree decomposition method is used to extract the root node to split the process tree into several Root-Subtrees,and the Root-Subtree priority is set from large to small through the optimal completion time of vertical and horizontal *** Root-Subtree processes on the same equipment are sorted into the stack according to the equipment process pre-start time,and the stack-top processes are combined with the schedulable process set to schedule and dispatch the *** start processing time of each process is determined according to the dynamic start processing time strategy of the equipment process,to complete the fusion operation of the Root-Subtree processes under the constraints of the vertical process tree and the horizontal ***,the root node is retrieved to form a substantial scheduling scheme,which realizes scheduling optimization by mining the vertical and horizontal characteristics of the process *** by examples shows that,compared with the traditional integrated scheduling algorithms that sort the scheduling processes as an overall,the integrated scheduling algorithmin this paper is *** proposed algorithmenhances the process scheduling compactness,reduces the length of the idle time of the processing equipment,and optimizes the production scheduling target,which is of universal significance to solve the integrated scheduling problem.

Preventive approaches against cancer have not been fully developed and *** example,the incidence of some types of cancer,including colon cancer,is highly dependent upon lifestyle,and therefore,amenable to *** the lifestyle factors,diet strongly affects the incidence of colon cancer; however,there are no definitive dietary recommendations that protect against this *** association between diet-derived bioactives and development of colonic neoplasms will remain ill defined if we do not take into account:(1) the identity of the metabolites present in the colonic lumen;(2) their concentrations in the colon; and(3) the effect of the colonic contents on the function of individual *** review two approaches that address these questions:the use of fecal water and in vitro models of the human *** to treatment with individual diet-derived compounds,the exposure of colon cancer cells to samples from fecal water or human colon simulators mimics closer the in vitro conditions and allows for more reliable studies on the effects of diet on colon cancer *** rationale and the advantages of these strategies are discussed from the perspective of a specific question on how to analyze the combined effect of two types of bioactives,butyrate and polyphenol metabolites,on colon cancer cells.

A misfit layer sulfide(BiS)_(1.2)(TiS_(2))_(2) with a natural superlattice structure has been shown to be a promising thermoelectric material,but its high carrier concentration should be reduced so as to further optimize the thermoelectric ***,ordinary acceptor doping has not succeeded because of the non-parabolic band *** this paper,we have successfully doped chromium ions into the Ti sites,which can maintain or even enhance the high effective mass of electrons so as to effectively improve ZT value.X-ray diffraction analysis,coupled with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy,shows that chromium has been substituted into titanium sites in TiS2 layers and confirms its ionic *** chromium doping has successfully reduced the carrier concentration with the subsequent reduction of electrical *** other acceptor dopants(alkaline earth metals),chromium also enhances Seebeck coefficient and the effective mass,which can possibly be attributed to the formation of additional resonant states near fermi *** the power factor does not improve,the significant reduction in the electronic part of the thermal conductivity leads to a measurable improvement in ZT.

Ultrafine bubbles and low doses of gamma irradiation had a positive effect on seed *** research tested the effectiveness of ultrafine bubbles(UfB)water and gamma irradiation for improving the viability and vigor of Albizia chinensis(Osbeck)*** that had been stored for four years.A completely randomized two-factor experiment,i.e.,UfB water and gamma irradiation treatments,were used to determine the best seed *** UfB water treatment had a significant effect on all seed germination parameters;the gamma irradiation treatment did not have a significant effect on improving the viability and vigor of the seeds,with a very low initial germination(11.7%).Soaking the seeds in UfB water for 30 min gave the best germination(51.3%).These improvements also occurred in other germination parameters such as germination rate,germination value,radicle length and vigor *** UfB water treatment has the potential to improve the germination of seeds with low physiological qualities.

One-pot glycerol conversion to acrylic acid catalyzed by Cu modified HY zeolite synthesized from natural resources and pro-analytical precursor

The conversion of glycerol to acrylic acid was carried out by the one-pot process *** catalyst used in this conversion is Cu-modified HY zeolite synthesized using pro-analytical precursors and alternative precursors from natural resources i.e.,Indonesian natural zeolite and *** crystal structure and physicochemical properties of catalysts were determined by various characterization techniques such as XRD,fTIR,SEM-EDX,TEM,SAA,and TPD-NH_(3).Based on XRD analysis,it shows that HY and CuHY,both from synthetic and alternative precursors,are confirmed to have typical peaks of Y *** mapping images show a uniform distribution of Cu on the HY *** addition,the TEM analysis also shows uniform particle size *** results of catalytic glycerol conversion show that Cu-modified HY catalysts give a higher acrylic acid yield than *** results also show that the highest yield of acrylic acid was obtained in 27.5%and 25.8%at a dehydration time of 3 h using pro-analytical and natural resources CuHY catalyst,*** Cu-modified HY catalysts having weak acid sites show the best catalytic activity in the conversion of glycerol to acrylic acid.

Composition modification was introduced to improve the oxidation resistance by varying Al and excluding Co from the Al-Co-Cr-fe-Ni system. Since adjusting the composition shifted the valence electron concentration(VEC) of the alloys, the dual-phase structure of the alloys is expected to be more stable. At low temperatures(T formed mixed oxide products. As oxidation temperature increased,only Cr_(2)O_(3)or Al_(2)O_(3)dominated the alloy’s surface. Compared to equiatomic AlCoCrfeNi(5-Equi), nonequiatomic AlCoCrfeNi(5-B 40) and four-component AlCrfeNi(4-B 2013) had better oxidation resistance due to monocrystalline-Al_(2)O_(3)formation. Besides the role of oxide formation, maintaining BCC and B2phases within the alloys is also beneficial to supporting the stable Cr_(2)O_(3)or Al_(2)O_(3).

Silica Gel from Chemical Glass Bottle Waste as Adsorbent for Methylene Blue:Optimization Using BBD

This research focuses on the effective removal of methylene blue dye using silica gel synthesized from chemical glass bottle waste as an environmentally friendly and cost-effective *** adsorption process was optimized using Box-Behnken Design(BBD)and Response Surface Methodology(RSM)to investigate the influence of pH(6;8 and 10),contact time(15;30 and 45 min),adsorbent mass(30;50 and 70 mg),and initial concentration(20;50 and 80 mg/L)of the adsorbate on the adsorption *** BBD was conducted using Google Colaboratory software,which encompassed 27 experiments with randomly assigned *** silica gel synthesized from chemical glass bottle was characterized by XRD,fTIR,SEM-EDX and *** adsorption result was measured by spectrophotometer *** optimized conditions resulted in a remarkable methylene blue removal efficiency of 99.41%.Characterization of the silica gel demonstrated amorphous morphology and prominent absorption bands characteristic of *** Langmuir isotherm model best described the adsorption behavior,revealing chemisorption with a monolayer coverage of methylene blue on the adsorbent surface,and a maximum adsorption capacity of 82.02 mg/***,the pseudo-second-order kinetics model indicated a chemisorption mechanism during the adsorption *** findings highlight the potential of silica gel from chemical glass bottle waste as a promising adsorbent for wastewater treatment,offering economic and environmental *** investigations can explore its scalability,regenerability,and reusability for industrial-scale applications.
