Lenvatinib,a second-generation multi-receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor approved by the FDA for first-line treatment of advanced liver cancer,facing limitations due to drug ***,we applied a multidimensional,high-throughput screening platform comprising patient-derived resistant liver tumor cells(PDCs),organoids(PDOs),and xenografts(PDXs)to identify drug susceptibilities for conquering lenvatinib resistance in clinically relevant *** and passaging of PDCs and PDOs from resistant patient liver tumors retained functional fidelity to lenvatinib treatment,expediting drug repurposing *** screening identified romidepsin,YM155,apitolisib,NVP-TAE684 and dasatinib as potential antitumor agents in lenvatinib-resistant PDC and PDO ***,romidepsin treatment enhanced antitumor response in syngeneic mouse models by triggering immunogenic tumor cell death and blocking the EGFR signaling pathway.A combination of romidepsin and immunotherapy achieved robust and synergistic antitumor effects against lenvatinib resistance in humanized immunocompetent PDX ***,our findings suggest that patient-derived liver cancer models effectively recapitulate lenvatinib resistance observed in clinical settings and expedite drug discovery for advanced liver cancer,providing a feasible multidimensional platform for personalized medicine.

Optimal regularity of positive solutions of the hénon-hardy equation and related equations

We present a new method to determine the optimal regularity of positive solutions u∈C4（Ω{0}）∩C0■ of the hénon-hardy equation,i.e.,■ where Ω■RN（N≥4） is a bounded smooth domain with 0∈Ω,α>-4,and p∈*** is clear that 0 is an isolated singular point of solutions of（0.1） and the optimal regularity of u in Ω relies on the parameter α.It is also important to see that the regularity of u at x=0 determines the regularity of u in Ω.We first establish asymptotic expansions up to arbitrary orders at x=0 of prescribed positive solutions u ∈C4（Ω{0}） ∩ C0（Ω）of（0.1）.Then we show that the regularity at x=0 of each positive solution u of（0.1） can be determined by some terms in asymptotic expansions of the related positive radial solution of the equation（0.1） with Ω=B,where B is the unit ball of *** main idea works for more general equations with singular weights.

Elucidating the structure-activity relationship of Cu-Ag bimetallic catalysts for electrochemical CO_(2) reduction

Developing bimetallic catalysts is an effective strategy for enhancing the activity and selectivity of electrochemical CO_(2) reduction reactions,where understanding the structure-activity relationship is essential for catalyst ***,we prepared two Cu-Ag bimetallic catalysts with Ag nanoparticles attached to the top or the bottom of Cu *** tested in a flow cell,the Cu-Ag catalyst with Ag nanoparticles on the bottom achieved a faradaic efficiency of 54%for ethylene production,much higher than the catalyst with Ag nanoparticles on the *** catalysts were further studied in the h-cell and zero-gap MEA *** was found that placing the two metals in the intensified reaction zone is crucial to triggering the tandem reaction of bimetallic *** work elucidates the structure-activity relationship of bimetallic catalysts for CO_(2) reduction and demonstrates the importance of considering both catalyst structures and cell characteristics to achieve high activity and selectivity.

Boosted Lithium-Ion Transport Kinetics in n-Type Siloxene Anodes Enabled by Selective Nucleophilic Substitution of Phosphorus

Doped two-dimensional(2D)materials hold significant promise for advancing many technologies,such as microelectronics,optoelectronics,and energy ***,n-type 2D oxidized Si nanosheets,namely n-type siloxene(n-SX),are employed as Li-ion battery *** thermal evaporation of sodium hypophosphite at 275℃,P atoms are effectively incorporated into siloxene(SX)without compromising its 2D layered morphology and unique Kautsky-type crystal ***,selective nucleophilic substitution occurs,with only Si atoms being replaced by P atoms in the O_(3)≡Si-h *** resulting n-SX possesses two delocalized electrons arising from the presence of two electron donor types:(i)P atoms residing in Si sites and(ii)h *** doping concentrations are varied by controlling the amount of precursors or their mean free *** at 2000 mA g^(-1),the n-SX electrode with the optimized doping concentration(6.7×10^(19) atoms cm^(-3))delivers a capacity of 594 mAh g^(-1) with a 73%capacity retention after 500 *** improvements originate from the enhanced kinetics of charge transport processes,including electronic conduction,charge transfer,and solid-state *** approach proposed herein offers an unprecedented route for engineering SX anodes to boost Li-ion storage.

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)possess a distinct advantage over conventional heterogeneous photocatalysts because of their carefully defined architecture and particular pores,which facilitate the targeted incorporation of other efficient cocatalysts or semiconductor *** integration of MOFs with other materials has resulted in significant breakthroughs,as the coupled materials improve the performance due to the combined *** unique MOF structures allow them to host foreign materials,which results in harvesting the visible region of the solar spectrum and effectively mitigating charge recombination by promoting charge *** review presents an evaluation of the latest developments in the utilization of surface and/or pore chemistry of MOF-supported heterojunctions for photocatalytic green-hydrogen generation with a basic understanding of the mechanism *** review begins with the basic principles of photocatalysis,the significance of MOFs,their optical properties,the methods used for synthesizing MOFs,and their coordination with other inorganic and polymeric ***,methods to increase photocatalytic h2 evolution using MOF-supported heterojunction have been proposed as standard ***,to address environmental challenges,we highlight the future potential of MOF-supported heterojunctions for use in green-energy *** hope that this review provides guidance to researchers in the development of effective heterojunctions based on MOFs to address challenges in energy applications and catalytic processes.

Tidal effects based on a GUP-induced effective metric

In this paper, we study tidal forces in the Schwarzschild black hole, whose metric explicitly includes a generalized uncertainty principle(GUP) effect. We also investigate interesting features of the geodesic equations and tidal effects that are dependent on the GUP parameter αrelated to a minimum length. Then, by solving the geodesic deviation equations explicitly with appropriate boundary conditions, we show that α in the effective metric affects both the radial and angular components of the geodesic equation, particularly near the singularities.

The effects of hydrogen charging time and pressure on the hydrogen embrittlement(hE)susceptibility of X52 pipeline steel material are studied by slow strain rate tensile *** fracture morphologies of the specimens are observed by scanning electron *** hE susceptibility of the X52 pipeline steel material increases with an increase in both hydrogen charging time and hydrogen *** a charging time of 96 h,the hE susceptibility index reaches 45.86%,approximately 3.6 times that at a charging time of 0 ***,a charging pressure of 4 MPa results in a hE susceptibility index of 31.61%,approximately 2.5 times higher than that at a charging pressure of 0.3 MPa.

Reliability of DC-link capacitor in pulsed power supply for accelerator magnet

Capacitors are widely used in pulsed magnet power supplies to reduce ripple voltage,store energy,and decrease power *** this study,DC-link capacitors in pulsed power supplies were *** deriving an analytical method for the capacitor current on the h-bridge topology side,the root-mean-square value of the capacitor current was calculated,which helps in selecting the DC-link *** proposed method solves this problem quickly and with high *** current reconstruction of the DC-link capacitor is proposed to avoid structural damage in the capacitor’s current measure-ment,and the capacitor’s hotspot temperature and temperature rise are calculated using the FFT *** test results showed that the error between the calculated and measured temperature increases was within 1.5◦***,the lifetime of DC-link capacitors was predicted based on Monte Carlo *** proposed method can evaluate the reliability of DC-link capacitors in a non-isolated switching pulsed power supply for accelerators and is also applicable to film capacitors.
