Good nutrition plays a crucial role in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. The beneficial effects of nutrition have been found to counteract nutritional disturbances with the expanded use of nutraceuticals to treat and manage cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and other developmental defects over the last decade. Flavonoids are found abundantly in plant-derived foods such as fruits, vegetables, tea, cocoa, and wine. Fruits and vegetables contain phytochemicals like flavonoids, phenolics, alkaloids, saponins, and terpenoids. Flavonoids can act as anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-microbial(antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral) antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-diarrheal agents. Flavonoids are also reported to upregulate apoptotic activity in several cancers such as hepatic, pancreatic, breast, esophageal, and colon. Myricetin is a flavonol which is naturally present in fruits and vegetables and has shown possible nutraceutical value. Myricetin has been portrayed as a potent nutraceutical that may protect against cancer. The focus of the present review is to present an updated account of studies demonstrating the anticancer potential of myricetin and the molecular mechanisms involved therein. A better understanding of the molecular mechanism(s) underlying its anticancer activity would eventually help in its development as a novel anticancer nutraceutical having minimal side effects.

Ultimately, its goal is to pave the way for the responsible development and deployment of AI, fostering a harmonious integration of technological progress with societal values and priorities.

This paper examines how cybersecurity is developing and how it relates to more conventional information security. Although information security and cyber security are sometimes used synonymously, this study contends that they are not the same. The concept of cyber security is explored, which goes beyond protecting information resources to include a wider variety of assets, including people [1]. Protecting information assets is the main goal of traditional information security, with consideration to the human element and how people fit into the security process. On the other hand, cyber security adds a new level of complexity, as people might unintentionally contribute to or become targets of cyberattacks. This aspect presents moral questions since it is becoming more widely accepted that society has a duty to protect weaker members of society, including children [1]. The study emphasizes how important cyber security is on a larger scale, with many countries creating plans and laws to counteract cyberattacks. Nevertheless, a lot of these sources frequently neglect to define the differences or the relationship between information security and cyber security [1]. The paper focus on differentiating between cybersecurity and information security on a larger scale. The study also highlights other areas of cybersecurity which includes defending people, social norms, and vital infrastructure from threats that arise from online in addition to information and technology protection. It contends that ethical issues and the human factor are becoming more and more important in protecting assets in the digital age, and that cyber security is a paradigm shift in this regard [1].

Xception-Fractalnet:Hybrid Deep Learning Based Multi-Class Classification of Alzheimer’s Disease

Neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease(AD)are very challenging to treat due to their sensitivity,technical challenges during surgery,and high *** complexity of the brain structures makes it difficult to distinguish between the various brain tissues and categorize AD using conventional classification ***,conventional approaches take a lot of time and might not always be ***,a suitable classification framework with brain imaging may produce more accurate findings for early diagnosis of *** in this paper,an effective hybrid Xception and Fractalnet-based deep learning framework are implemented to classify the stages of AD into five ***,a network based on Unet++is built to segment the tissues of the ***,using the segmented tissue components as input,the Xception-based deep learning technique is employed to extract high-level ***,the optimized Fractalnet framework is used to categorize the disease condition using the acquired *** proposed strategy is tested on the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative(ADNI)dataset that accurately segments brain tissues with a 98.45%of dice similarity coefficient(DSC).Additionally,for themulticlass classification of AD,the suggested technique obtains an accuracy of 99.06%.Moreover,ANOVA statistical analysis is also used to evaluate if the groups are significant or *** findings show that the suggested model outperforms various stateof-the-art methods in terms of several performance metrics.

The field of object tracking has recently made significant ***,the performance results in both deep learning and correlation filters,based trackers achieved effective tracking ***,there are still some difficulties with object tracking for example illumination and deformation(DEF).The precision and accuracy of tracking algorithms suffer from the effects of such *** this situation,finding a solution is *** research proposes a new tracking algorithm to handle this *** features are extracted by using Modified LeNet-5,and the precision and accuracy are improved by developing the Real-Time Cross-modality Correlation Filtering method(RCCF).In Modified LeNet-5,the visual tracking performance is improved by adjusting the number and size of the convolution kernels in the pooling and convolution *** high-level,middle-level,and handcraft features are extracted from the modified LeNet-5 *** handcraft features are used to determine the specific location of the target because the handcraft features contain more spatial information regarding the visual *** LeNet features are more suitable for a target appearance change in object *** experiments were conducted by the Object Tracking Benchmarking(OTB)databases like OTB50 and *** experimental results reveal that the proposed tracker outperforms other state-of-the-art trackers under different *** experimental simulation is carried out in *** overall success rate and precision of the proposed algorithm are 93.8%and 92.5%.The average running frame rate reaches 42 frames per second,which can meet the real-time requirements.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (State of food and agriculture. Moving forward on food loss and waste reduction, 2019) stated that approximately 1.3 billion tons of food wasted every year caused the emission of around 4.4 gigatons of greenhouse gas. World Health Organization highlights that iron deficiency affects billions of people worldwide and remains the leading cause of anemia. With the growth of healthy and sustainable diets and consumers’ better understanding of the relationship between diet, health, and the environment, there is an opportunity to develop novel healthy extruded snacks. The present study was carried out using response surface methodology to investigate the effects of varying proportions of jackfruit seed flour, mung bean flour, and ferrous ammonium phosphate on physical and functional properties of extruded snacks. Experiments were carried out using a central composite rotatable design with three independent parameters such as jackfruit seed flour(%), mung bean flour(%), and ferrous ammonium phosphate (%), and five responses such as bulk density (BD), expansion ratio (ER), hardness, color difference (ΔE), and iron content. It was found that ferrous ammonium phosphate significantly increased the iron content. Bulk density, expansion ratio, and hardness were significantly affected by jackfruit seed flour and mung bean flour. All independent variables significantly influenced colour value. The optimized iron-enrich extruded snacks were obtained at 24.87% jackfruit seed flour, 20.95% mung bean flour, and 0.021% ferrous ammonium phosphate. The optimized extruded snack contained 15.32 g/100 g protein and 22.03 mg/100 g iron content. Results of the study indicate that the optimized extruded snack could be used as a protein and iron source to mitigate malnutrition and anemia.
