Previous studies have shown that low platelet count combined with high plasma total homocysteine(tHcy)increased stroke risk and can be lowered by 73% with folic ***,the combined role of other platelet activation parameters and the methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR)C677T genotypes on stroke risk and folic acid treatment benefit remain to be *** study aimed to investigate if platelet activation parameters and MTHFR genotypes jointly impact folic acid treatment efficacy in first stroke *** were derived from the China Stroke Primary Prevention *** study includes a total of 11,185 adult hypertensive patients with relevant platelet activation parameters and MTHFR genotype *** simultaneously considering both platelet activation parameters(plateletcrit,platelet count,mean platelet volume,platelet distribution width)and MTHFR genotypes,patients with both low plateletcrit(Q1)and the TT genotype had the highest stroke incidence rate(5.6%)in the enalapril *** subgroup significantly benefited from folic acid treatment,with a 66% reduction in first stroke(HR:0.34;95%CI:0.14-0.82;p=0.016).Consistently,the subgroup with low plateletcrit(Q1)and the CC/CT genotype also benefited from folic acid treatment(HR:0.40;95%CI:0.23-0.70;p=0.001).In Chinese hypertensive adults,low plateletcrit can identify those who may greatly benefit from folic acid treatment,in particular,those with the TT genotype,a subpopulation known to have the highest stroke risk.

Current guidelines encourage large studies in a diverse population to establish normal reference ranges for three-dimensional(3D)echocardiography for different ethnic *** study was designed to establish the normal values of 3D-left ventricular(LV)and left atrial(LA)volume and function in a nationwide,population-based cohort of healthy Han Chinese adults.A total of 1117 healthy volunteers aged 18–89 years were enrolled from 28 collaborating laboratories in *** sets of 3D echocardiographic instruments were used,and full-volume echocardiographic images were recorded and transmitted to a core laboratory for image analysis with a vendor-independent off-line ***,866 volunteers(mean age of 48.4 years,402 men)were qualified for final *** parameters exhibited substantial differences between different sex and age groups,even after indexation by body surface *** normal ranges of 3D-LV and 3D-LA volume and function differed from those recommended by the American Society of Echocardiography and the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging guidelines,presented by the World Alliance Societies of Echocardiography(WASE)study,and from the 2D values in the EMINCA *** normal reference values of 3D echocardiography-derived LV and LA volume and function were established for the first time in healthy Han Chinese *** ranges of 3D-LV and 3D-LA echocardiographic measurements stratified with sex,age,and race should be recommended for clinical applications.

Study on the Construction and Evaluation System of Clinical Midwifery Teaching Faculty under the New Nursing Model

Objective:To explore the impact of the construction of a clinical midwifery teaching faculty and the development of an evaluation system under the new nursing model on the current teaching ***:From July 2022 to March 2023,10 clinical teaching teachers and 20 midwifery interns from Beijing anzhen Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University were selected as the subjects of this *** clinical teaching teachers and midwifery interns were divided into an observation group and a control group,with each group including 5 clinical teaching teachers and 10 midwifery *** observation group received daily management and evaluation under the new nursing model,while the control group received management and evaluation under the traditional nursing *** teaching quality evaluation of clinical midwifery teaching teachers by midwifery interns,the exit exam scores of midwifery interns,and the scores of clinical teaching teachers’internship lectures and teaching rounds were compared between the two ***:In the observation group,the scores for teaching attitude,teaching skills,and teaching management in the teaching quality evaluation of clinical midwifery teaching teachers were higher than those in the control *** professional theory scores(91.28±3.64)and overall nursing comprehensive scores(92.56±4.38)of midwifery interns in the observation group were higher than those of midwifery interns in the control group(81.58±2.27 and 80.29±3.33,respectively).The scores for internship lectures(89.32±4.15)and teaching rounds(90.64±5.52)in the observation group were also significantly higher than those in the control group(80.46±3.28 and 81.24±4.38,respectively),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The management of the clinical midwifery teaching faculty under the new nursing model effectively improved the quality of clinical *** significantly enhanced the teaching effectiveness of clinical teaching t

OBJECTIVE: To establish a standardized framework encompassing the precise locations, manipulations,functions and indications of specific acupoints in the field of paediatric Tuina. METHODS: The development of consensus involved three distinct stages. Initially, a list of paediatric Tuina specific acupoints was compiled based on an extensive literature review, which was subsequently supplemented through expert interviews. In the second stage, the Delphi method was employed to assess the significance of acupoint locations, manipulations, functions, and indications. In situations where the questionnaire survey failed to yield agreement or when the experts held reservations, the nominal group approach was utilized during the expert consensus meeting. The final version of the technical standardized material was ultimately determined during an expert consensus conference. After undergoing external peer review and evaluation, the completed draft was prepared for public dissemination RESULTS: The comprehensive list identified a total of 66 specific acupoints. The location and manipulation questionnaire consisted of 156 items based on the literature database, while the function and indication questionnaire contained 116 items. Two rounds of Delphi surveys were conducted for the location and manipulation category, and another two rounds of Delphi surveys were conducted for the function and indication category. During the experts consensus meeting The panel of experts conducted in-depth discussions on 61 questions, resulting in the formulation of technical guidelines for the locations, manipulations, functions, and indications of 64 paediatric Tuina acupoints. Subsequently, the research team compiled and edited the draft of the technical guidelines for acupoints of paediatric Tuina, which was finalized after external review and feedback. Analysis of Cardiac Functional Status and Factors Influencing Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes in Pregnant Women with Combined Heart Disease

Objective:To investigate the cardiac function of pregnant women with complicated heart disease during pregnancy and the factors influencing the adverse pregnancy ***:A total of 162 cases of pregnant women with complicated heart disease admitted to the Beijing anzhen Hospital from October 2021 to December 2023 were selected to compare the occurrence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with complicated heart disease at different levels of cardiac function and to analyze the single and multi factors leading to adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with complicated heart ***:Among 162 pregnant women with combined heart disease in pregnancy,the highest percentage of heart disease type was congenital heart disease(80/49.38%),and the lowest percentage was other(9/5.56%);the overall incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with combined heart disease in pregnancy with cardiac function grades of 3–4 cardiac function(30/68.18%)was higher than that in pregnant women with combined heart disease in cardiac function grades of 1–2(40/33.90%)(P=0.000);age,marital status,hypertension,and past history of all pregnant women were not statistically significant(P>0.05);gestational age,type of heart disease,and cardiac function grading were statistically significant(P<0.05),and these factors were all independent risk factors for adverse pregnancy resolution in pregnant women with combined heart disease(P<0.05).Conclusion:The overall incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes was higher in pregnant women with heart disease than in those with heart disease grades 1–2,and the number of pregnancies,the type of heart disease,and heart function grades were all independent risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with heart disease.

Snake gourd(Trichosanthes anguina L.),which belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family,is a popular ornamental and food crop species with medicinal value and is grown in many parts of the *** progress has been made in its genetic improvement,the organization,composition,and evolution of the snake gourd genome remain largely ***,we report a high-quality genome assembly for snake gourd,comprising 202 contigs,with a total size of 919.8 Mb and an N50 size of 20.1 *** findings indicate that snake gourd has one of the largest genomes of Cucurbitaceae species sequenced to *** snake gourd genome assembly harbors 22,874 protein-coding genes and 80.0%of the genome consists of repetitive *** analysis reveals that snake gourd is closely related to sponge gourd but diverged from their common ancestor~33–47 million years *** genome sequence reported here serves as a valuable resource for snake gourd genetic research and comparative genomic studies in Cucurbitaceae and other plant *** addition,fruit transcriptome analysis reveals the candidate genes related to quality traits during snake gourd fruit development and provides a basis for future research on snake gourd fruit development and ripening at the transcript level.

Chinese dwarf cherry [Cerasus humilis(Bge.) Sok.] polyphenol extract promotes osteoblastic differentiation in MC3T3-E1 cells and reduce ovariectomy-induced bone loss in rats via the calcium/AMPK signaling pathway

Chinese dwarf cherry (Cerasus humilis) is a fruit unique to China， which is considered to have osteoprotective effects. However， no systematic experimental characterization was available. In this study， the osteoprotective activity and mechanism of Chinese dwarf cherry polyphenol extract (OPE) was studied. In vitro， OPE stimulated the alkaline phosphatase activity in the early differentiation stage， increased the osteocalcin level in the middle differentiation stage， and induced the formation of more bone-mineralized nodules in the late osteogenic stage. In vivo， OPE improved cancellous bone structure and maximum load of the femur in ovariectomized (OVX) rats. The balance between bone formation and resorption was regulated. Oxidative stress levels in the peripheral blood， liver and femur were reduced. OPE alleviated the disturbance in energy metabolism， muscle development， and muscle regulation-related signaling pathways caused by OVX and activated the calcium/adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase signaling pathway. Therefore， OPE is a potential dietary supplement for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.

Tomato is one of the most important vegetable crops in the world and is a model plant used to study the ripening of climacteric fleshy *** the ripening process of tomato fruit,flavor and aroma metabolites,color,texture and plant hormones undergo significant ***,low temperatures delayed the ripening process of tomato fruit,inhibiting flavor compounds and ethylene *** and transcriptomics analyses of tomato fruit stored under low temperature(LT,5°C)and room temperature(RT,25°C)were carried out to investigate the effects of storage temperature on the physiological changes in tomato fruit after *** results of transcriptomics changes revealed that the differentially expressed genes(DEGs)involved in tomato fruit ripening,including several kinds of transcription factors(TFs)(TCP,WRKY,MYB and bZIP),enzymes involved in cell wall metabolism[beta-galactosidase(β-GAL),pectinesterase(PE)and pectate lyase(PL),cellulose and cellulose synthase(CESA)],enzymes associated with fruit flavor and aroma[acetyltransferase(AT),malic enzyme(ME),lipoxygenase(LOX),aldehyde dehydrogenase(ALDH),alcohol dehydrogenase(ADH)and hexokinase(HK)],genes associated with heat stress protein 70 and genes involved in the production of plant hormones such as Ethylene responsive factor 1(ERF1),Auxin/indoleacetic acids protein(AUX/IAA),gibberellin regulated *** on the above results,we constructed a regulatory network model of the effects of different temperatures during the fruit ripening *** to the analysis of the metabolomics results,it was found that the contents of many metabolites in tomato fruit were greatly affected by storage temperature,including,organic acids(L-tartaric acid,a-hydroxyisobutyric acid and 4-acetamidobutyric acid),sugars(melezitose,beta-Dlactose,D-sedoheptulose 7-phosphate,2-deoxyribose 1-phosphate and raffinose)and phenols(coniferin,curcumin and feruloylputrescine).This study revealed the effects of storage tempera
