In this paper, a Sliding mode controller design method for frequency regulation in an interconnected power system is presented. A sliding surface having four parameters has been selected for the load frequency control (LFC) system model. In order to achieve an optimal result, the parameter of the controller is obtained by grey wolf optimization (GWO) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) techniques. The objective function for optimization has been considered as the integral of square of error of deviation in frequency and tie-line power exchange. The method has been validated through simulation of a single area as well as a multi-area power system. The performance of the Sliding mode controller has also been analyzed for parametric variation and random loading patterns. The performance of the proposed method is better than recently reported methods. The performance of the proposed Sliding mode controller via GWO has 88.91% improvement in peak value of frequency deviation over the method of anwar and Pan in case study 1 and similar improvement has been observed over different case studies taken from the literature.

In a smart grid,state estimation(Se)is a very important component of energy management *** main functions include system Se and detection of cyber ***,it has been shown that conventional Se techniques are vulnerable to false data injection(FDI)attack,which is a sophisticated new class of attacks on data integrity in smart *** main contribution of this paper is to propose a new FDI attack detection technique using a new data-driven Se model,which is different from the traditional weighted least square based Se *** Se model has a number of unique advantages compared with traditional Se ***,the prediction technique can better maintain the inherent temporal correlations among consecutive measurement ***,the proposed Se model can learn the actual power system ***,this paper shows that this Se model can be effectively used to detect FDI attacks that otherwise remain stealthy to traditional Se-based bad data *** proposed FDI attack detection technique is evaluated on a number of standard bus *** performance of state prediction and the accuracy of FDI attack detection are benchmarked against the state-ofthe-art *** results show that the proposed FDI attack detection technique has a higher detection rate compared with the existing techniques while reducing the false alarms significantly.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of the spanning simplicial complex As（G） associated to a simple finite connected graph G. We characterize all spanning trees of the uni-cyclic graph Un,m. In particular, we give a formula for computing the Hilbert series and h-vector of the Stanley-Reisner ring k[△s（Un,m）]. Finally, we prove that the spanning simplicial complex △s（Un,m） is shifted and hence is shellable.

This is a study of visualization of positive data of by Positive Modified Quadratic Shepard (PMQS) method. This data visualization tool was implemented successfully in MATLAB using both recorded pollutants levels and geological coordinates of data acquisition points located in different localities of the metropolitan. These points were located in/around the potential air emissions sources like vehicular transport, industrial sector and residential sector dispersed all around the city Field measurements were carried for 12 hour (day time) at eight points each. An online VOC analyzer was used during field campaign to collect data of hazardous organic pollutants like benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, xylene (BTeX). Constant concentration curves were generated in form of contour plots showing latitude, longitude and spatial distribution of recorded atmospheric pollutants.

Globally among biotic stresses,diseases like blight,rust and blast constitute prime constraints for reducing wheat productivity especially in *** sustainable productivity,the development of disease-resistant lines and high yielding varieties is vital and *** study was conducted using 122 advanced breeding lines of wheat including 21 varieties developed by Bangladesh Wheat and Maize Research Institute with aims to identify genotypes having high yield potential and resistant to leaf blight,leaf rust and blast *** genotypes were evaluated for resistance against leaf blight and leaf rust at Dinajpur and wheat blast at Jashore under field *** of 122 genotypes tested,20 lines were selected as resistant to leaf blight based on the area under the diseases progress curve under both irrigated timely sown and irrigated late sown ***-two genotypes were found completely free from leaf rust infection,59 genotypes were identified as resistant,and 13 genotypes were identified as moderately resistant to leaf *** genotypes were immune against wheat blast,42 genotypes were categorized as resistant,and 26 genotypes were identified as moderately resistant to wheat *** data revealed that the 16 genotypes showed a positive 2NS segment among the 18 immune genotypes selected against wheat blast under field *** genotypes BAW 1322,BAW 1295,and BAW 1203 can be used as earlier maturing genotypes and the genotypes BAW 1372,BAW 1373,BAW 1297 and BAW 1364 can be used for lodging tolerant due to short plant *** genotypes WMRI Gom 1,BAW 1349 and BAW 1350 can be selected for bold grain and the genotypes WMRI Gom 1,BAW 1297,BAW 1377 can be used as high yielder for optimum seeding condition but genotypes BAW 1377 and BAW 1366 can be used for late sown *** selected resistant genotypes against specific diseases can be used in the further breeding program to develop wheat varieties having higher disea

Physical and Dielectric Properties of Some Nonionic Surfactants

Fatty acid esters have been prepared by reacting the acid C//1//8 with polyethylene glycols having varying numbers of oxyethylene units (4-88 units) by the direct esterification reaction method. Surface and interfacial tensions were studied at various experimental conditions, including, concentration, temperature and chemical constitution of the surfactant. Critical micelle concentrations (CMC), surface excess and residual area occupied by each surface active agent molecule A have been calculated by using Gibb's equations. CMC values range from 10 to 55 multiplied by 10** minus **5 mole/L for all studied agents, while the residual area occupied by each molecule varies from 0.6 to 1.5 nm**2. Variation of CMC of some of these agents with temperature have been also examined and the obtained data were used to calculate the heat of micellization delta H//m and the entropy change during micellization delta S//m. Values of delta H//m vary from 14.63 kJ/mole to 2.717 kJ/mole depending on the chemical constitution of the agent under consideration. Objective:To determine the influence of the single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)rs4245739 on the binding and expression of micro RNAs and subsequent MDM4 expression and the correlation of these factors with clinical determinants of eR-negative breast ***:Find Tar and miRanda were used to detect the manner in which potential micro RNAs are affected by the SNP rs4245739-flanking *** sequencing data for eR-negative breast cancer from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)were used to compare the expression of miR-184,miR-191,miR-193a,miR-378,and MDM4 in different rs4245739 ***:Comparison of eR-negative cancer patients with and without the expression of miR-191 as well as profile micro RNAs(miR-184,miR-191,miR-193a and miR-378 altogether)can differentiate the expression of MDM4 among different rs4245739 *** simple genotyping alone did not reveal significant clinical relationships,the combination of genotyping and micro RNA profiles was able to significantly differentiate individuals with larger tumor size and lower number of involved lymph nodes(Pe risk group(A allele).Conclusions:We present two novel methods to analyze SNPs within 3′UTRs that use:(i)a single miRNA marker expression and(ii)an expression profile of miRNAs predicted to bind to the SNP *** demonstrate that the application of these two methods,in particular the miRNA profile approach,permits detection of new molecular and clinical features related to the rs4245739 variant in eR-negative breast cancer.
