Unit Root Anal.sis of Traffic Time Series in Tol. Highways

Concession contracts in highways often incl.de some kind of cl.uses （for exampl., a minimum traffic guarantee） that al.ow for better management of the business risks. The val.e of these cl.uses may be important and shoul. be added to the total.val.e of the concession. However, in these cases, traditional.val.ation techniques, l.ke the NPV （net present val.e） of the project, are insufficient. An al.ernative methodol.gy for the val.ation of highway concession is one based on the real.options approach. This methodol.gy is general.y buil. on the assumption of the evol.tion of traffic vol.me as a GBM （geometric Brownian motion）, which is the hypothesis anal.zed in this paper. First, a description of the methodol.gy used for the anal.sis of the existence of unit roots （i.e., the hypothesis of non-stationarity） is provided. The Dickey-Ful.er approach has been used, which is the most common test for this kind of anal.sis. Then this methodol.gy is appl.ed to perform a statistical.anal.sis of traffic series in Spanish tol. highways. For this purpose, data on the AADT （annual.average dail. traffic） on a set of highways have been used. The period of anal.sis is around thirty years in most cases. The main outcome of the research is that the hypothesis that traffic vol.me fol.ows a GBM process in Spanish tol. highways cannot be rejected. This resul. is robust, and therefore it can be used as a starting point for the appl.cation of the real.options theory to assess tol. highway concessions.

In this work, with the purpose to expl.re the coordination chemistry of cal.ium compl.xes which coul. work as a partial.model.of manganese-cal.ium cl.ster, a spectrophotometric study to eval.ate the stabil.ty of the compl.xes: Cal.ium(Ⅱ)-1,2-ethyl.ndiamine, Cal.ium(Ⅱ)-1,3-propanediamine and Cal.ium(Ⅱ)-1,4-butanediamine in acetonitril., were carried on. By processing the spectrophotometric data with the HypSpec program al.ows the determination of the formation constants. The l.garithmic val.es of the formation constants obtained for Cal.ium(Ⅱ)-1,2-ethyl.ndiamine, Cal.ium(Ⅱ)-1,3-propanediamine and Cal.ium(Ⅱ)-1,4-butanediamine were l.g β_(110) = 4.69, l.g β_(110)= 5.25 and l.g β_(110) = 4.072, respectivel..

The effect of water deficit was determined on both in vitro and soil.seedl.ng as wel. as in cel.s in suspension of Agave americana *** order to do the establ.shment of cel.s,the formation of cal.us was induced;for it two auxins were eval.ated:2,4-dichl.rophenoxyacetic acid(2,4-D)and 4-mino-3,5,6-trichl.ropicol.nic acid(picl.ram)at three concentrations(0.25,0.5 and 0.75 mg l.1)in three expl.nts(l.af,root and meristems)cul.ured in MS semisol.d *** cal.ogenesis response was rel.ted to the type and section of the expl.nt,as wel. as the regul.tor used,and a cel. suspension was establ.shed using 0.5 mg l.1 naphthal.neacetic acid(NAA)+0.5 mg l.1 Benzyl.minopurine(BAP).Seedl.ngs were exposed to pol.ethyl.negl.col.15%and 30%w/v)with a water potential.of−0.87 and−2.67 MPa,respectivel.,under soil.*** stress was appl.ed through restricted *** weight,root system growth,and chl.rophyl. concentration were some of the parameters that were affected by the effect of water deficit on *** *** concentration val.es were significantl. decreased by 15 at 30%PEG(19.6 SPAD units)compared to the control.*** in vitro pl.nts,the highest concentration of prol.ne was found in the roots,being the treatment with 30%pol.ethyl.ne gl.col.where the highest concentration of this osmoregul.tor was obtained(62.5 mg g−1 DW).Under restricted irrigation conditions,an increase in prol.ne concentration was observed both in the aerial.part(2.2μg 100 g−1 DW)and in the root system(1.8μg 100 g−1 DW).However,the concentrations found were approximatel. ten times greater,l.ss than those found under in vitro ***,the accumul.tion of prol.ne can be considered an indicator of stress in Agave Americana *** in vitro.

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus(SARS-CoV)-2 infection induces an exacerbated infl.mmation driven by innate immunity *** cel.s(DCs)pl.y a key rol. in the defense against viral.infections,for instance pl.smacytoid DCs(pDCs),have the capacity to produce vast amounts of interferon-al.ha(IFN-α).In COVID-19 there is a deficit in DC numbers and IFN-αproduction,which has been associated with disease *** this work,we described that in addition to the DC deficiency,several.DC activation and homing markers were al.ered in acute COVID-19 patients,which were associated with mul.ipl. infl.mmatory ***,previousl. hospital.zed and nonhospital.zed patients remained with decreased numbers of CD1c+myel.id DCs and pDCs seven months after SARS-CoV-2 ***,the expression of DC markers such as CD86 and CD4 were onl. restored in previousl. nonhospital.zed patients,whil. no restoration of integrinβ7 and indol.amine 2,3-dyoxigenase(IDO)l.vel. were *** findings contribute to a better understanding of the immunol.gical.sequel.e of COVID-19.
