Background: Oral cavity malignancy can result from surface epithelium, salivary glands, or submucosal soft tissue. Common symptoms may include non-healing ulcers, slurred speech, dysphagia, neck mass and pain which may indicate cortical invasion. Morbidity and quality of life have been seen to rise with mandibular excision in oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma. Therefore, in order to design the surgery appropriately, it is vital to be aware of the mandibular invasion prior to the procedure. Various researches have been focused on the accuracy of clinical examination and imaging technique in predicting tumour invasion of the mandible in oral malignancy. The goal of this study was to find a correlation between histological assessment, clinical examination, and computed tomography results in patients with mandibular involvement and oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma. Objectives: To determine the sensitivity, specificity, NPV and PPV of CECT and clinical diagnosis in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma with mandibular invasion. Methods: A cross-sectional observational study was set out to review preoperative clinical and radiological assessment;and post operative histopathological finding of mandibular resection specimen in clinically evaluated and diagnosed cases of oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) with mandibular invasion. Results: 43 individuals of oral cavity SCC with mandibular involvement were examined. 12 out of 28 mandibular resections had bone invasion, with numerous tumour entry sites being the most frequent mechanism of invasion, according to post-operative HPE. The positive predictive value (PPV) of contrast enhanced computerised tomography (CECT) scans was 42.8%, as 28 individuals had invasions revealed;sensitivity is almost 100%;specificity is 48.3. This paper deals with the general class of Bianchi cosmological models with bulk viscosity and particle creation described by full causal thermodynamics in Brans-Dicke theory. We discuss three types of average scale-factor solutions for the general class of Bianchi cosmological models by using a special law for the deceler- ation parameter which is linear in time with a negative slope. The exact solutions to the corresponding field equations are obtained in quadrature form and solutions to the Einstein field equations are obtained for three different physically viable cosmologies. All the physical parameters are calculated and discussed in each model.

It is well recognized that the voltage stability of a power system is affected by the load model and hence, to effectively analyze the reactive power compensation of an isolated hybrid wind-diesel based power system, the loads need to be considered along with the generators in a transient analysis. This paper gives a detailed mathematical modeling to compute the reactive power response with small voltage perturbation for composite load. The composite load is a combination of the static and dynamic load model. To develop this composite load model, the exponential load is used as a static load model and induction motors （IMs） are used as a dynamic load model. To analyze the dynamics of IM load, the fifth, third and first order model of IM are formulated and compared using differential equations solver in Matlab coding. Since the decentralized areas have many small consumers which may consist large numbers of IMs of small rating, it is not realistic to model either a single large rating unit or all small rating IMs together that are placed in the system. In place of using a single large rating IM, a group of motors are considered and then the aggregate model of IM is developed using the law of energy conservation. This aggregate model is used as a dynamic load model. For different simulation studies, especially in the area of voltage stability with reactive power compensation of an isolated hybrid power system, the transfer function AQ/AV of the composite load is required. The transfer function of the composite load is derived in this paper by successive derivation for the exponential model of static load and for the fifth and third order IM dynamic load model using state space model.

Arsenic has a suppressive influence on spermatogenesis and induces impairment in male reproductive system due to oxidative stress. The present study was aimed to test the arsenic induced toxicity and protection by Chlorophytum borivilianum. The effect of sodium arsenite （4 mg/（kg body weight （bw）.day）） via double distilled water without or with C. borivilianum （800 mg/（kg ***）） was evaluated in Swiss albino mice for 30 days. The radical scavenging activity of the aqueous C. borivilianum root extract was measured using DPPH （1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl hydrayzyl） radical. Qualitative assessment of various cell types in the testis, sperm count and motility, testicular activity of lipid peroxidation （LPO）, reduced glutathione （GSH）, acid and alkaline phosphatase, cholesterol and serum testosterone were monitored. Arsenic treatment showed a significant increase in LPO, acid and alkaline phosphatase, cholesterol and decrease in sperm count, sperm motility, GSH and serum testosterone. Combined treatment showed significant decrease in LPO, acid and alkaline phosphatase, cholesterol and elevation in sperm count, sperm motility, GSH and serum testosterone. Testicular histopathology showed that C. borivilianum had reduced degeneration of germ cell in the seminiferous tubules and loss of sperms induced by arsenic intoxication. The results thus led us to conclude that administration of C. borivilianum root extract is found to be protective against arsenic induced toxicity.
