Viscosities and ultrasonic speeds of binary mixtures of benzene with triethylamine and tributylamine at different temperatures:An experimental and theoretical study

The viscosities, η, and ultrasonic speeds, u, of pure benzene, triethylamine, （TEA） tributylamine, （TBA）, and those of their binary mixtures, with benzene as common component, covering the whole composition range have been measured at 278.15 K, 283.15 K, 288.15 K, 293.15 K, 298.15 K, 303.15 K, 308.15 K, 313.15 K, and 318.15 K. From the experimental data the deviations in viscosity, △η, deviations in Gibbs free energy, AG, deviations in ultrasonic speed, △u, deviations in entropies, △S^＊, and deviations in enthalpies, △H^＊, of activation of viscous flow have been determined. The sign and magnitude of these parameters were found to be sensitive towards interactions prevailing in the studied systems. Further, the excess molar volumes, VE, were calculated using data for the binary mixtures. Moreover, theoretical values of viscosities and ultrasonic speeds of the binary mixtures were calculated using different empirical relations and theories. The results were in experimental and theoretical values. discussed in terms of average deviations （AD）

The current study investigates the behavior of wire electric discharge machining （WEDM） of the super alloy Udimet-L605 by employing sophisticated machine learning approaches. The experimental work was designed on the basis of the Taguchi orthogonal L27 array, consid- ering six explanatory variables and evaluating their influ- ences on the cutting speed, wire wear ratio （WWR）, and dimensional deviation （DD）. A support vector machine （SVM） algorithm using a normalized poly-kernel and a radial-basis flow kernel is recommended for modeling the wire electric discharge machining process. The grey rela- tional analysis （GRA） approach was utilized to obtain the optimal combination of process variables simultaneously, providing the desirable outcome for the cutting speed, WWR, and DD. Scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray analyses of the samples were performed for the confirmation of the results. An SVM based on the radial-basis kernel model dominated the normalized poly- kernel model. The optimal combination of process vari- ables for a mutually desirable outcome for the cutting speed, WWR, and DD was determined as Ton1, Toffa, Ip1, WT3, SV1, and WF3. The pulse-on time is the significant variable influencing the cutting speed, WWR, and DD. The largest percentage of copper （8.66%） was observed at the highest cutting speed setting 7.05% of copper at the low of the machine compared to cutting speed setting of the machine.

Objective:To evaluate in vitro antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of methanolic extract of Jasminum humile（***） leaves ***:Methanolic extract of *** was evaluated for its antimicrobial activity by using agar well diffusion method & their possible antioxidant assay by two complementary test systems,namely DPPH and hydrogen peroxide scavenging *** various antioxidant activities were compared to standard antioxidants such as ascorbic acid for both the ***:In the DPPH & hydrogen peroxide scavenging activity,the IC50 value of methanol extract was 70.43μg/mL & 60.79μg/mL respectively. Further,the extract showed inhibitory activity for Gram-positive and negative bacteria at different *** maximum antibacterial activity of extract was exhibited against Staphylococcus aureus（***） at concentration 50 mg/mL when compared with ciprofloxacin Conclusions:These results clearly indicate that *** is effective in scavenging free radicals and has the potential to be a powerful ***,the results obtained in the present study indicate that *** leaves extract could be considered as a potential source of natural antioxidants and that could be used as an effective source against bacterial diseases.

Linear Discriminant Analysis （LDA） is one of the principal techniques used in face recognition systems. LDA is well-known scheme for feature extraction and dimension reduction. It provides improved performance over the standard Principal Component Analysis （PCA） method of face recognition by introducing the concept of classes and distance between classes. This paper provides an overview of PCA, the various variants of LDA and their basic drawbacks. The paper also has proposed a development over classical LDA, i.e., LDA using wavelets transform approach that enhances performance as regards accuracy and time complexity. Experiments on ORL face database clearly demonstrate this and the graphical comparison of the algorithms clearly showcases the improved recognition rate in case of the proposed algorithm.
