Collision of laser-driven subrelativistic high-density ion flows provides a way to create extremely compressed ion conglomerates and study their *** paper presents a theoretical study of the electrodynamic implosion of ions inside a hollow spherical or cylindrical shell irradiated by femtosecond petawatt laser *** propose to apply a very effective mechanism for ion acceleration in a self-consistent field with strong charge separation,based on the oscillation of laser-accelerated fast electrons in this field near the thin *** electrons are generated on the outer side of the shell under irradiation by the intense laser *** is shown that ions,in particular protons,may be accelerated at the implosion stage to energies of tens and hundreds of MeV when a sub-micrometer shell is irradiated by femtosecond laser pulses with an intensity of 10^(21)–10^(23)W cm^(−2).

Heating a solid material with laser-accelerated fast electrons is a particularly useful method for generating a plane powerful shock wave with a pressure of several hundred or even thousands of Mbar in the *** the front of such a powerful shock wave,dense plasma is heated to a temperature of several ***,a high rate of radiation energy loss occurs even in low-Z *** this paper,the strong compression of matter due to radiation cooling in a Gbar shock wave driven by fast electrons is studied using both computational and theoretical *** is shown that the effect of radiation cooling leads to compression of matter in the peripheral region of the shock wave to a density several times greater than the density at its *** a solid material by a petawatt flux of laser-accelerated fast electrons offers the opportunity to surpass the gigabar pressure level of plane shock waves generated by the impact of laser-accelerated *** pressures of about 100 Gbar can be achieved under laboratory conditions only when a spherical target is imploded under the action of a terawatt laser pulse.

The stabilization and manipulation of laser frequency by means of an external cavity are nearly ubiquitously used in fundamental research and laser applications. While most of the laser light transmits through the cavity, in the presence of some back-scattered light from the cavity to the laser, the self-injection locking effect can take place, which locks the laser emission frequency to the cavity mode of similar frequency. The self-injection locking leads to dramatic reduction of laser linewidth and noise. Using this approach, a common semiconductor laser locked to an ultrahigh-Q microresonator can obtain sub-Hertz linewidth, on par with state-of-the-art fiber lasers. Therefore it paves the way to manufacture high-performance semiconductor lasers with reduced footprint and cost. Moreover, with high laser power, the optical nonlinearity of the microresonator drastically changes the laser dynamics, offering routes for simultaneous pulse and frequency comb generation in the same microresonator. Particularly, integrated photonics technology, enabling components fabricated via semiconductor CMOS process, has brought increasing and extending interest to laser manufacturing using this method. In this article, we present a comprehensive tutorial on analytical and numerical methods of laser self-injection locking, as well a review of most recent theoretical and experimental achievements.

Porous materials have many applications for laser–matter interaction experiments related to inertial confinement *** new knowledge about the properties of the laser-produced plasma of porous media is a challenging *** this work,we report,for the first time to the best of our knowledge,the time-dependent measurement of the reflected light of a terawatt laser pulse from the laser-produced plasma of low-Z foam material of overcritical *** experiments have been performed with the ABC laser,with targets constituted by foam of overcritical density and by solid media of the same chemical *** implemented in the MULTI-FM code a model for the light reflection to reproduce and interpret the experimental *** the simulations together with the experimental results,we indicate a criterion for estimating the homogenization time of the laser-produced plasma,whose measurement is challenging with direct diagnostic techniques and still not achieved.

Generating wind power time series based on its persistence and variation characteristics

Generation of wind power time series is an important foundational task for assisting electric power system planning and mak- ing decision. By analyzing the characteristics of wind power persistence and variation, th!.s paper proposes an improved Mar- kov chain Monte Carlo （MCMC） method, identified as the PV-MC method, for the direct generation of a synthetic series of wind power output. On the basis of the MCMC method, duration time and variation features are concluded in PV-MC method, gaining a more comprehensive reflection of wind power characteristics in the generated wind power time series. First, the wind power state series is generated to meet the state transition matrix based on the definition of the wind power state. Then, the time duration of each state in the series is determined by its respective duration character. Finally, the variation characteristic is used to convert the state series to a wind power time series. A significant amount of simulations are performed based on the PV-MC and MCMC methods and are then compared for 25 wind farms at 6 different locations throughout the world. The sim- ulation results show that the PV-MC method offers an excellent fit for the time domain features （persistence and variation characteristic） while holding other statistic features （mean value, variance, autocorrelation coefficient （ACC） and probability density function （PDF）） close to the MCMC method.

Taking into account the effect of the generalized Gor'kov and Melik-Barkhudarov(GMB)approximation,we calculate the radio-frequency spectra of balanced and homogeneous ultracold Fermi gases within the framework of the non-self-consistent T-matrix approximation at unitarity in the normal *** corresponding equations are numerically calculated on the real frequency axis *** is found that our results agree well with the experimental result of the radio-frequency spectroscopy[***.101(2008)140403].

提出了基于分子相互作用力场(MIF)、应用偏最小二乘(PLS)与多区组偏最小二乘(MBPLS)分析相结合,建立并检验多氯代二苯并二噁英(PCDD)定量结构-色谱保留关系(QSRR)模型的研究方法。分别以表征van der Waals、氢键和疏水效应的C3、H和DRY探针,计算75种PCDD的分子相互作用力场,并与其气相色谱kov偄ts保留指数进行PLS与MBPLS分析,建立了拟合与预测效果良好的QSRR模型。其中MBPLS模型相关系数r2为0.998;交叉验证的相关系数q2为0.994。采用投影变量重要性方法判断了各种效应在PCDD色谱保留中的贡献。结果表明:van der Waals作用的影响最大,其次为疏水效应,而氢键效应影响较小。

文章基于社会质量理论视角,构建包含社会性保障、经济性保障、社会凝聚、社会包容、社会赋权维度的民生发展水平评价指标体系,采用熵值法测度2016—2020年我国30个省份的民生发展水平,并运用Mar⁃kov转移概率矩阵探讨民生发展水平的演进规律。研究表明:从整体来看,各省份的民生发展水平不高;除东部地区外,中部地区、西部地区和东北地区的民生发展水平均不高,而且各省份的民生发展水平缺乏稳定性,呈波动态势;较多省份属于低、极低质量民生发展水平,区域内部民生发展水平呈“分离”现象,东部地区的民生发展水平始终高于中部地区、西部地区和东北地区;各省份的民生发展水平有升级或降级的可能;民生发展水平的空间集聚呈“中心—外围—边缘”的圈层扩散分布格局,在空间格局上呈抱团状、零星状结构。
