Ensembles of freeze-dried self-rolled polymer micro-scrolls are explored as template media for produc- ing carbon-iron based composites with fibrous morphology. Polymer fibres impregnated with furfuryl alcohol and loaded with Fe2O3 particles, were thermally treated under inert atmosphere at 700 ℃ and subsequently analysed by scanning and transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, and nitrogen adsorption. The resulting material has a micro-fibrous mor- phology and is basically composed of metallic Fe^0 and FeO particles, i.e., more than 98 wt% of the carbon/ iron-based composite mass. These particles are held together by amorphous porous carbon foam obtained by in-situ carbonization of the polymer/Fe2O3 composite with evacuation of carbon from the system via COx gases released by carbo-reduction of Fe2O3. The material has significant activity in the reaction of catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide in water solutions.

It is known that injection of carbon dioxide into the petroleum reservoir(CO_(2) flooding) is one of the effective methods for enhanced oil recovery. CO_(2) flooding may be complicated by formation of CO_(2) hydrate plugs. It makes topical investigation of CO_(2) hydrate formation in the system gaseous CO_(2)-oil-water. In this work, the growth rates of carbon dioxide hydrate films at the water-oil as well as the water-gas interface are studied in the pressure range of 2.30-3.04 MPa and at temperatures between -5.4 and 5.0℃. It is found that the growth rate for the water-oil interface is 3.5 times lower than that for the water-gas interface with carbon dioxide. It is hypothesised that the observed decrease in the growth rate is related to the mechanical resistance of the oil components adsorbed on the interface to the growth of the hydrate film. The growth rate of the film has been shown to depend on the experimental procedure,most likely due to the different initial concentrations of carbon dioxide in the aqueous solutions.

BACKGROUND Cleft foot is a very rare congenital anomaly,which is characterized by central rays deficiency of the *** is also known as split foot or ectrodactyly of the foot,and it is very often combined with splitting of the *** defect develops due to insufficient activity of the median apical ectodermal ridge,which leads to an increase in cell death or a decrease in cell *** to the rarity of the pathology,there are few papers on the surgical treatment of this congenital foot disease,and publications to date concern the treatment of *** sUMMARY We present a clinical case of congenital splitting of the feet and hands in a 31-year-old woman and a long-term result of foot treatment using the minimal arrangement of the Ilizarov *** patient had paternal inheritance of the *** the surgical treatment,cosmetic view and functional condition of the foot were improved and persisted two years after *** were no complications in the treatment *** The possibility of dosed control and stable fixation of the foot rays made it possible to create favorable conditions for the healing of the central wound and the closure of the segment splitting without *** long-term outcome of the treatment of foot congenital splitting using the proposed Ilizarov apparatus arrangement has shown its *** approach should be considered as an option of treatment in similar cases.

The main characteristics of millimeter-wave(MM-wave)image detector were simulated by means of accurate numerical modeling of thermophysical processes in a metamaterial MM-to-IR *** converter represents a multilayer structure consisting of an ultra thin resonant metamaterial absorber and a perfect emissive *** absorber consists of a dielectric self-supporting film that is metallized from both sides.A micropattern is fabricated from one *** absorption of the MM waves induces the converter heating that yields enhancement of IR emission from the emissive *** emission is detected by IR *** this contribution an accurate numerical model for simulation of the thermal processes in the converter structure was created by using COMsOL Multiphysics *** simulation results are in a good agreement with experimental results that validates the *** simulation shows that the real-time operation is provided for the converter thickness less than 3µm and time response can be improved by decreasing of the converter *** energy conversion efficiency of MM waves into IR radiation is over 80%.The converter temperature increase is a linear function of a MM-wave radiation power within three orders of the dynamic *** blooming effect and ways of its reducing are also *** model allows us to choose the ways of converter structure optimization and improvement of image detector parameters.

This paper presents the first release of an Informational system（Is）devoted to the systematic collection of all available data relating to Pliocene-Quaternary faults in southern East siberia,their critical analysis and their seismotectonic *** final goal of this project is to form a new base for improving the assessment of seismic hazard and other natural processes associated with crustal *** presented Is has been exploited to create a relational database of active and conditionally active faults in southern East siberia（between 100°-114° E and 50°-57° N）whose central sector is characterized by the highly seismic Baikal rift *** information within the database for each fault segment is organized as distinct but intercorrelated sections（tables,texts and pictures,etc.）and can be easily visualized as HTML pages in offline *** preliminary version of the database distributed free on disk already highlights the general fault pattern showing that the Holocene and historical activity is quite uniform and dominated by NE-sW and nearly E-W trending faults;the former with a prevailing dip-slip normal kinematics,while the latter structures are left-lateral strike-slip and oblique-slip（with different proportion of left-lateral and normal fault slip components）.These faults are mainly concentrated along the borders of the rift basins and are the main sources of moderate-to-strong（M≥5.5）earthquakes on the southern sectors of East siberia in recent *** a whole,based on analyzing the diverse fault kinematics and their variable spatial distribution with respect to the overall pattern of the tectonic structures formed and/or activated during the late Pliocene-Quaternary,we conclude they were generated under a regional stress field mainly characterized by a relatively uniform NW-sE tension,but strongly influenced by the irregular hard boundary of the old siberian *** obtained inferences are in an agreement with the existing models
