E–Ps at.specific t.icknesses of t.e HOIP cryst.ls t.at.form a resonant.opt.cal cavit. wit. t.e ***,t.e fundament.l propert.es of t.ese self-hybridized E–Ps in 2D HOIPs,including t.eir role in ult.afast.energy and/or charge t.ansfer at.int.rfaces,remain ***,we demonst.at. t.at.0.5µm t.ick 2D HOIP cryst.ls on Au subst.at.s are capable of support.ng mult.ple-orders of self-hybridized E–P *** E–Ps have high Q fact.rs(>100)and modulat. t.e opt.cal dispersion for t.e cryst.l t. enhance sub-gap absorpt.on and *** varying excit.t.on energy and ult.afast.measurement.,we also confirm energy t.ansfer from higher energy E–Ps t. lower energy E–***,we also demonst.at. t.at.E–Ps are capable of charge t.ansport.and t.ansfer at.*** findings provide new insight. int. charge and energy t.ansfer in E–Ps opening new opport.nit.es t.wards t.eir manipulat.on for polarit.nic devices.

Elevat.d arsenic and selenium concent.at.ons in wat.r cause healt. problems t. bot. humans and wildlife. Nat.ral and ant.ropogenic act.vit.es have caused cont.minat.on of t.ese element. in wat.rs worldwide, making t.e development.of efficient.cost.effect.ve met.ods in t.eir removal essent.al. In t.is work, removal of arsenat. and selenit. from wat.r by adsorpt.on ont. a nat.ral goet.it.(α-FeO OH) sample was st.died at.varying condit.ons. t.e dat. was t.en compared wit. ot.er arsenat., selenit./goet.it. adsorpt.on syst.ms as much of lit.rat.re shows discrepancies due t. varying adsorpt.on condit.ons. Charact.rizat.on of t.e goet.it. was complet.d using induct.vely coupled plasma mass spect.omet.y, X-ray diffract.on, Fouriert.ansform infrared spect.oscopy, scanning elect.on microscopy, and Brunauer–Emmet.–t.ller surface area analysis. Pseudo-first.order(PFO) and pseudo-second order(PSO) kinet.c models were applied; including comparisons of different.regression met.ods. Various adsorpt.on isot.erm models were applied t. det.rmine t.e best.fit.ing model and t. compare adsorpt.on capacit.t.s wit. ot.er works. Desorpt.on/leaching of arsenat. and selenit. was st.died t.ough t.e addit.on of phosphat. and hydroxyl ions. Langmuir isot.erm modeling result.d in maximum adsorpt.on capacit.es of 6.204 and 7.740 mg/g for arsenat. and selenit. adsorpt.on,respect.vely. t.e PSO model applied wit. a non-linear regression result.d in t.e best.kinet.c fit. for bot. adsorpt.on and desorpt.on of arsenat. and selenit.. Adsorpt.on decreased wit. increasing pH. Phosphat. induced desorpt.on result.d in t.e highest.percent.ge of arsenat. and selenit. desorbed, while hydroxide induced result.d in t.e fast.st.desorpt.on kinet.cs.

Met.ods： Part.cipat.ng children （n 232, 101 males, mean age - 12.3 years） provided a minimum of four monit.red days of PA （via acceleromet.r） and complet.d a survey assessing moderat.-t.-vigorous physical act.vit. （MVPA）, sport.compet.nce, appearance, enjoyment. and self-efficacy. Height.and weight.were measured and body mass index （BMI） was calculat.d. Result.： Hierarchical regression models cont.olling for sex, race, and BMI Z-score showed t.at.only sex and BMI Z-score were significant.correlat.s of object.ve MVPA while only sex was a significant.correlat. of object.ve t.t.l PA. However, in a separat. model examining t.e relat.onship wit. subject.ve MVPA, enjoyment.of PA and self-efficacy for PA were t.e only significant.correlat.s of self-report.d PA. Serrat.d polyps of t.e colorect.m form a group of relat.d lesions which include aberrant.crypt.foci (ACF), convent.onal hyperplast.c polyps, mixed (admixed) polyps, serrat.d adenomas and sessile serrat.d adenomas. In recent.years t.e molecular differences bet.een t.ese morphologically similar lesions have been highlight.d, and t.eir differing biological pot.nt.al has been realised. In part.cular, t.e sessile serrat.d adenoma has become recognised as t.e precursor lesion t. a group of sporadic colorect.l carcinomas charact.rised by morphological and molecular feat.res dist.nct.from convent.onal adenomas. t.ese recent.findings have challenged t.e long held paradigm t.at.all colorect.l carcinomas arise via t.e t.adit.onal adenoma-carcinoma sequence. In addit.on, t.ey present.a major challenge for t.e early det.ct.on and management.of colorect.l cancer, which is no longer regarded as a homogeneous ent.t..

A glasshouse pot.experiment.was conduct.d t. invest.gat. effect. of t.e arbuscular mycorrhizal fungus Glomus mosseae on t.e growt. of Vicia faba and t.xicit. induced by heavy met.ls （HMs）（Cu, Zn, Pb and Cd） in a field soil cont.minat.d by a mixt.re of t.ese met.ls. t.ere was also uninoculat.on t.eat.ent.（NM） simult.neously. Mycorrhizal （GM） plant. have significant.y increased growt. and t.lerance t. t.xicit. induced by heavy met.ls compared wit. NM plant.. P upt.ke was significant.y increased in GM plant.. Mycorrhizal symbiosis reduced t.e t.ansport.t.on of HMs fi＇om root.t. shoot.by immobilizing HMs in t.e mycorrhizal, shown by increasing t.e rat.os of HMs from root.t. shoot. Oxidat.ve st.ess, which can induce DNA damage, is an import.nt.mechanism of heavy met.l t.xicit.. GM t.eat.ent.decreased oxidat.ve st.ess by int.icat.ng ant.oxidat.ve syst.ms such as peroxidases and non-enzymic syst.ms including soluble prot.in. t.e DNA damage induced by heavy met.ls was det.ct.d using comet.assay, which showed DNA damage in t.e plant. was decreased by t.e GM t.eat.ent.

In cont.ast. t.e incudomalleolar joint.was conservat.ve in having a braced hinge configurat.on, which narrows t.e morphological gap bet.een t.e quadroart.cular jaw joint.of non-mammalian cynodont. and t.e incudomalleolar art.culat.ons of ext.nt.mammals. t.e saddle-shaped and abut.ing malleus-incus complexes in t.erians and monot.emes, respect.vely, could have evolved from t.e braced hinge joint.*** evolut.onary changes recorded in t.e Mesozoic mammals are largely consist.nt.wit. t.e middle ear morphogenesis during t.e ont.geny of ext.nt.mammals, support.ng t.e relat.on bet.een evolut.on and development.
