TiN Paper for Ultrafast-Charging Supercapacitors

Ultrafast-charging energy storage devices are attractive for powering personal electronics and electric *** ultrafast-charging devices are made of carbonaceous materials such as chemically converted graphene and carbon ***,their relatively low electrical conductivity may restrict their performance at ultrahigh charging ***,we report the fabrication of a porous titanium nitride(TiN)paper as an alternative electrode material for ultrafast-charging *** TiN paper shows an excellent conductivity of 3.67×104 S m−1,which is considerably higher than most carbon-based *** paper-like structure also contains a combination of large pores between interconnected nanobelts and mesopores within the *** unique electrode enables fast charging by simultaneously providing efficient ion diffusion and electron *** supercapacitors(SCs)made of TiN paper enable charging/discharging at an ultrahigh scan rate of 100 V s−1 in a wide voltage window of 1.5 V in Na2SO4 neutral *** has an outstanding response time with a characteristic time constant of 4 ***,the TiN paper-based SCs also show zero capacitance loss after 200,000 cycles,which is much better than the stability performance reported for other metal nitride ***,the device shows great promise in *** filtration method enables good control of the thickness and mass loading of TiN electrodes and devices.

Maize stalk rot reduces grain yield and *** about the genetics of resistance to maize stalk rot could help breeders design effective breeding strategies for the *** prediction may be a more effective breeding strategy for stalk-rot resistance than marker-assisted *** performed a genome-wide association study(GWAS)and genomic prediction of resistance in testcross hybrids of 677 inbred lines from the Tuxpe?o and non-Tuxpe?o heterotic pools grown in three environments and genotyped with 200,681 single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs).Eighteen SNPs associated with stalk rot shared genomic regions with gene families previously associated with plant biotic and abiotic *** favorable SNP haplotypes traced to tropical than to temperate progenitors of the inbred *** genotype-by-environment(G×E)interaction increased genomic prediction accuracy.

Cancer is a major cause of death *** carcinoma(HCC)is one of the malignancies with the highest mortality-to-incidence ratio(>0.9),and in some countries this value is up to ***,many patients are diagnosed at advanced stages of the ***,HCC early markers,as well as novel therapeutic approaches,are urgently *** is the main type of liver cancer and it is associated with different factors including alcohol use,viral infections,and fatty liver disease.A significant percentage of HCC patients previously had liver *** ion channels have been proposed as novel potential markers and therapeutic targets for diverse cancers including ***,we review most of the findings associating ion channel expression with HCC and its etiological factors,as well as some possible pro-tumorigenic mechanisms of action for ion channels in *** therapies for HCC treatment and prevention are also *** channel targeting offers a plethora of opportunities for HCC prevention,early diagnosis,and therapy that may help to reduce the extremely high mortality-to-incidence ratio of this malignancy.

Recent reports suggest that aging is not solely a physiological process in living beings;instead, it should be considered a pathological process or disease(Amorim et al., 2022). Consequently, this process involves a wide range of factors, spanning from genetic to environmental factors, and even includes the gut microbiome(GM)(Mayer et al., 2022). All these processes coincide at some point in the inflammatory process, oxidative stress, and apoptosis, at different degrees in various organs and systems that constitute a living organism(Mayer et al., 2022;AguilarHernández et al., 2023).
