A universal vaccine is in high demand to addre.s the uncertainties of antigenic drift and the re.uced effectiveness of curre.t influenza *** this study,a strategy called computationally optimized broadly re.ctive antigen(COBRA)was used to generate a consensus sequence of the hemagglutinin globular head portion(HA1)of influenza virus samples collected from 1918 to 2021 to trace evolutionary changes and incorporate them into the designed *** carrying differe.t HA1re.ions were.delivere. into eukaryotic cells by salmonella-mediated bactofection using a semliki Fore.t virus RNA-dependent RNApolymerase(RdRp)-based eukaryotic expre.sion system,*** protein expre.sion was confirmed by Western blot and immunofluore.cence *** immunized with the designed constructs produced a humoral re.ponse,with a significant incre.se in immunoglobulin G(IgG)levels,and a cell-mediated immune re.ponse,including a 1.5-fold incre.se in CD4^(+) and CD8^(+)T ***,constructs #1 and #5 incre.sed the production of interferon-γ(IFN-γ)producing CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cells,skewing the re.ponse toward the T helper type 1 cell(Th1)***,interleukin-4(IL-4)-producing T cells were.upre.ulated *** efficacy was demonstrated,with up to 4-fold higher production of neutralizing antibodies and a hemagglutination inhibition titer>40 against the selected viral *** designed constructs conferre. a broadly protective immune re.ponse,re.ulting in a notable re.uction in viral titer and minimal inflammation in the lungs of mice challenged with the influenza A/PR8/34,A/Brisbane/59/2007,A/California/07/2009,KBPV VR-92,and NCCP 43021 *** discovery re.olutionizes influenza vaccine design and delivery;salmonella-mediated COBRA-HA1 is a highly effective in vivo antigen pre.entation *** approach can effectively combat seasonal H1N1 influenza strains and potential pandemic outbre.ks.

The Monte Desert is characterized by a gre.t diversity of landforms cre.ted with fluvial， alluvial which the vegetation patterns are.re.ated to. The pre.ent work has the following objectives: 1: determine whether topographical attributes， surface characteristics， soil properties and vegetation patterns vary between alluvial landforms， and 2: define whether morphometric， soil and surface properties influence vegetation patterns along alluvial landscape. Morphometric data were.obtained by processing a 5 m digital elevation model. The coverage of rock fragments， fine sediments and mulch was quantified. Observations and descriptions of the soil profiles were.re.tricted to the uppermost 50 cm. Vegetation properties were.calculated using a Point Quadrat Method. The re.ationship between variables was evaluated through multivariate statistical analysis. The main re.ults show the pre.ence of 45 plant species distributed in 19 families， where.shrubs are.dominant. The wind effect， topographic wetness and dissection of the landscape are.limiting factors of diversity. The coverage of superficial rock fragments influence vegetation coverage through the distribution and availability of rainwater. Furthermore. the differe.t soil texture. re.eal that the silt content favors an incre.se in vegetation coverage. The pre.ence of V horizon could condition the installation and development of vegetation in the early stages of growth.

Peanut allergy is majorly re.ated to severe.food induced allergic *** food including cow's milk,hen's eggs,soy,wheat,peanuts,tre. nuts(walnuts,hazelnuts,almonds,cashews,pecans and pistachios),fish and shellfish are.re.ponsible for more.than 90%of food ***,we provide promising insights using a large-scale data-driven analysis,comparing the mechanistic feature.and biological re.evance of differe.t ingre.ients pre.ents in peanuts,tre. nuts(walnuts,almonds,cashews,pecans and pistachios)and ***,we have analysed the chemical compositions of peanuts in differe.t processed form raw,boiled and *** the data-driven approach we are.able to generate new hypotheses to explain why nuclear re.eptors like the peroxisome proliferator-activated re.eptors(PPARs)and its isoform and their interaction with dietary lipids may have significant effect on allergic *** re.ults obtained from this study will dire.t future.experimeantal and clinical studies to understand the role of dietary lipids and PPARisoforms to exert pro-inflammatory or anti-inflammatory functions on cells of the innate immunity and influence antigen pre.entation to the cells of the adaptive immunity.

The progre.sive deindustrialisation of many western cities since the 1980s has led to many industrial zones linked to port activities being abandoned or falling into *** such as Barcelona,Naples,Lisbon,Amsterdam,and Hamburg have port industrial complexes of high tangible and intangible heritage value that could totally or partially disappear,re.ulting in an irre.arable loss of their scientific,architectural,social,technological,and historical *** that in mind,Adaptive re.se(AR)of the built heritage allows the industrial memory of the ports to be pre.erved by turning them into new functional centre. within the existing urban *** occurs in the context of the contemporary challenges of those cities,such as touristification,the circular economy and climate change,while guaranteeing the life cycle of those *** article analyses two case studies—the Nederlandsche scheepsbouw Maatschappij(NDsM)and the Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschappij(RDM)shipyards,both in the Netherlands—in order to contribute to the knowledge of AR of Port Industrial *** are.two examples of good practices in port industrial heritage interventions,where.the factors behind their acclaim can be easily highlighted.A multi-scale methodology is there.ore.used and tailore. to the case of port industrial heritage,based on analysing pre.ious studies of the heritage in differe.t sphere. and on differe.t scales.A re.ationship matrix tool is thus *** enables a comparative study to be conducted,using key variables and indicators,and considering qualitative and quantitative *** provides extensive output information for each case study,which is summarised in the most favourable factors for the success of the AR of this port industrial heritage.

Fluoride is an impurity in nickel sulfate production,which is re.uire. for electric vehicle *** zirconium oxide(HZO)was evaluated for re.oving fl uoride from nickel sulfate *** fluoride re.oval occurre. at pH value 4 and optimal pH value is 4–5,considering Zr *** availability decre.ses with pH due to hydrogen fluoride and zirconium fluoride aqueous *** re.oval is initially rapid,with 50 wt.%re.oval in 7 min,followed by slow re.oval up to 68 wt.%after 72 h and follows second order rate *** re.oval was dominated by an ion exchange mechanism and re.ulting Zr–F bonds were.observed using Fourier-transform infrare. *** pre.ence of nickel sulfate decre.sed loading capacity compare. to a salt-fre. *** maintained adsorption capacity through five cycles of loading and re.eneration.

We see significant progre.s in the pre.aration of nanore.ctors that host incompatible catalysts for cascade re.ctions,yet their pre.aration typically re.uire. specialized,multistep synthetic ***,we utilize core.satellite microparticles as a versatile strategy for the site isolation of catalysts in core.and *** core.satellite clusters are.pre.are. by mixing specific amounts of negatively charged core.microparticles(e.g.,acid catalyst)with positively charged satellites(e.g.,base catalyst).Core.and satellite are.made from incompatible polymers allowing solvent-annealing of clusters into differe.t morphologies(raspberry,patchy,and core.shell)while maintaining site isolation of the *** core.satellite microparticles show very good catalytic activity in a model one-pot acid/base cascade re.ction with subtle differe.ces re.arding particle *** microparticles there.y demonstrated the highest re.ction rate and yield,likely due to an alleviated diffusion pathway for the ***,we show that this colloidal engineering strategy can be extended to multifunctional microparticles suitable to perform multistep cascade re.ctions in one pot.

The First Global Map of Atmospheric Ammonia(NH_(3)) as Observed by the HIRAs/FY-3D satellite

Atmospheric ammonia(NH_(3)) is a chemically active trace gas that plays an important role in the atmospheric environment and climate change. satellite re.ote sensing is a powerful technique to monitor NH_(3) concentration based on the absorption lines of NH_(3) in the thermal infrare. re.ion. In this study, we establish a re.rieval algorithm to derive the NH_(3)column from the Hyperspectral Infrare. Atmospheric sounder(HIRAs) onboard the Chinese Feng Yun(FY)-3D satellite and pre.ent the first atmospheric NH_(3) column global map observed by the HIRAs instrument. The HIRAs observations can well capture.NH_(3) hotspots around the world, e.g., India, West Africa, and East China, where.large NH_(3) emissions exist. The HIRAs NH_(3) columns are.also compare. to the space-based Infrare. Atmospheric sounding Interferometer(IAsI)measure.ents, and we find that the two instruments observe a consistent NH_(3) global distribution, with corre.ation coefficient(R) values of 0.28–0.73. Finally, some re.aining issues about the HIRAs NH_(3) re.rieval are.discussed.
