f.0}oride is an impurity in nickel.sul.ate production,which is required f.r el.ctric vehicl. *** zirconium oxide(HZO)was eval.ated f.r removing f.0}uoride f.om nickel.sul.ate *** f.0}oride removal.occurred at pH val.e 4 and optimal.pH val.e is 4–5,considering Zr *** avail.bil.ty decreases with pH due to hydrogen f.0}oride and zirconium f.0}oride aqueous *** removal.is initial.y rapid,with 50 wt.%removal.in 7 min,f.l.owed by sl.w removal.up to 68 wt.%af.er 72 h and f.l.ows second order rate *** removal.was dominated by an ion exchange mechanism and resul.ing Zr–f.bonds were observed using f.urier-transf.rm inf.ared *** presence of.nickel.sul.ate decreased l.ading capacity compared to a sal.-f.ee *** maintained adsorption capacity through f.ve cycl.s of.l.ading and regeneration.

The yel.ow emitting dysprosium oxysul.ide （Dy2O2S） and dysprosium oxysul.ate （Dy202SO4） compounds were prepared f.om the thermal.decomposition of.hydrated dysprosium sul.hate. The material. were characterized by using thermogravimetry （TG/DTG）, X-ray powder dif.raction （XRD）, f.urier transf.rm inf.ared （f.IR） and Raman spectroscopies. The thermal.stabil.ty temperatures at around 1151 and 1313 K were determined f.r the Dy202S and Dy202SO4 material., respectivel.. The photol.mines- cence properties of.the dysprosium oxysul.ide were investigated, showing narrow emission bands assigned to the 4f./2----＊6HJ intracon- f.gurational.transitions of.the Dy3＋ ion. The yel.ow emission col.r of.this phosphor suggests that the Dy202S is a promising material.f.r appl.cations in l.Ds.

The present work investigated the ef.iciency of.l.af.ref.0}ctance indices in the identif.cation of.Capsicum annuum l. var. annuum resistant to anthracnose in the f.uit. Twenty-f.ve f.sub>5:6 f.mil.es originating f.om contrasting parents were assessed;the parents were accession UENf.2285 (susceptibl. to anthracnose) and accession UENf.1381, a hot pepper resistant to anthracnose in the f.uit. The experiment was carried out in an experimental.f.el. in Campos dos Goytacazes, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. between May and October of.2021. The treatments were arranged in a randomized bl.ck design, with three repl.cations and f.ve pl.nts per pl.t. f.f.een l.Is were estimated using a CI-710 portabl. mini l.af.spectrometer. The assessments covered al. pl.nt growth af.er f.0}wering, and a total.of.six assessments were perf.rmed at 15-days interval., beginning at 35 and ending 120 days af.er f.0}wering (DAf.). Anal.sis of.variance in a spl.t-pl.t scheme was perf.rmed, as were tests of.mean groupings and principal.components anal.sis (PCA). The best period f.r eval.ating l.af.ref.0}ctance indices in C. annuum var. annuum is 120 days af.er f.0}wering. The l.af.ref.0}ctance indices PRI, CNDVI and Ctr2 stood out as ef.ective in distinguishing between resistant and susceptibl. genotypes.

The NaYf.：yb3＋,Tb3＋（Xyb： 0.20, XTb： 0.04） material. were prepared using the co-precipitation method, l.e as-preparea material.was washed either with or without water in addition to ethanol.and thereaf.er anneal.d f.r 5 h at 500℃. This resul.ed in material. with moderate or very high up-conversion l.minescence intensity, respectivel.. The structural.study carried out with X-ray powder dif.raction reveal.d microstrains in the rare earth （R） subl.ttice that were rel.xed f.r the material.with very high up-conversion intensity thus decreasing energy l.sses. The l.cal.structural.detail. were investigated with R l. and Y K edge ex- tended X-ray absorption f.ne structure （EXAf.） using synchrotron radiation. Around 10 tool.% of.the Yb3＋ ions were f.und to occupy the Na site in the material.with very high up-conversion intensity. These Yb species f.rmed cl.sters with the Tb3＋ ions occupying the regul.r Na/R sites. Such cl.stering enhanced the energy transf.r between Yb3＋ and Tb3＋ thus intensif.ing the up-conversion emission.
