The glaciers in the Aktru River basin of Gornyi Altai, Russia currently represent some of the fastest receding glaciers in the world. Formation of the morainic complexes closest to the contemporary glaciers in the Aktru River basin took place during the 17^th-18^th centuries with recession commencing at the end of the 18 th century. Coupled with this glacial retreat, earth surface processes and vegetation succession are responding to shape the glacier forelands. This article presents the first geomorphological maps for the upper reaches of the Aktru River basin and focuses on the geomorphological landforms that occur in the rapidly changing glacier forelands. Geomorphological mapping is difficult in steep mountainous regions and, thus, mapping was completed using satellite imagery, field mapping and observations coupled with highresolution aerial photography obtained from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs). Critical steps of the procedure used to process UAV imagery and difficulties encountered in this mountainous terrain are noted. The acquired spatial data enable the mapping and classification of small-scale transient geomorphological features such as talus, glacial and glaciofluvial landforms. Their dynamics provide insights into supraglacial and subglacial processes of the glaciers of the Aktru River basin and subsequent paraglacial adjustment. The presented highresolution spatial data, which can also be obtained at high temporal resolutions in the future, can act as a reference frame for geomorphologists and ecologists studying the temporal evolution of glacier forelands of the Aktru River basin during paraglacial adjustment and subsequent colonisation and stabilisation by biota.

Evaluation measures play an important role in the design of new approaches, and often quality is measured by assessing the relevance of the obtained result set. While many evaluation measures based on precision/recall are based on a binary relevance model, ranking correlation coefficients are better suited for multi-class problems. State-of-the-art rank- ing correlation coefficients like Kendall＇s T and Spearman＇s p do not allow the user to specify similarities between differ- ing object classes and thus treat the transposition of objects from similar classes the same way as that of objects from dissimilar classes. We propose ClasSi, a new ranking corre- lation coefficient which deals with class label rankings and employs a class distance function to model the similarities between the classes. We also introduce a graphical representation of ClasSi which describes how the correlation evolves throughout the ranking.

The glucose mass transfer in the biosynthesis of succinic acid with immobilized Actinobacillus succinogenes cells has been comparatively analyzed for a bioreactor with mobile bed vs. a stationary basket bioreactor. The process has been considered to occur under substrate and product inhibitory effects. The results indicated that the bioreactor with mobile bed is more efficient for biocatalyst particles with a diameter over 3 mm, while the basket bioreactor is more efficient for smaller biocatalyst particles and basket bed thickness below 5 mm. The performances of both configurations of immobilized A. succinogenes cell beds were found to be superior to the column packed bed bioreactor.

Real-time time-dependent density functional theory(TddFT)is presently the most accurate available method for computing electronic stopping powers from first ***,obtaining application-relevant results often involves either costly averages over multiple calculations or ad hoc selection of a representative ion *** consider a broadly applicable,quantitative metric for evaluating and optimizing trajectories in this *** methodology enables rigorous analysis of the failure modes of various common trajectory choices in crystalline *** randomly selecting trajectories is common practice in stopping power calculations in solids,we show that nearly 30%of random trajectories in an FCC aluminum crystal will not representatively sample the material over the time and length scales feasibly simulated with TddFT,and unrepresentative choices incur errors of up to 60%.We also show that finite-size effects depend on ion trajectory via“ouroboros”effects beyond the prevailing plasmon-based interpretation,and we propose a cost-reducing scheme to obtain converged results even when expensive core-electron contributions preclude large *** work helps to mitigate poorly controlled approximations in first-principles stopping power calculations,allowing 1–2 order of magnitude cost reductions for obtaining representatively averaged and converged results.

The authors made the electrochemical studies on the electrode processes during copper electrodeposition with ionic liquids-reline as an electrolytic medium. Reline is a commercial name for a eutectic mixture of choline chloride and urea（1：2, molar ratio）. This new proposed method of copper deposition is an ecological one because the ionic liquids are recyclable, non-volatile and non-toxic. Cyclic voltammetry investigations were conducted at 343 and 353 K in choline chloride-urea（Reline） deep eutectic solvent with single salt CuCl（generally in 0.05--0.38 mol/L concentration range）. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy investigations were conducted in choline chloride- urea ionic liquid with CuCI（0.05 mol/L）. We investigated both cathodic and anodic processes of Cu＋ ions at different sweep rates in this new electrolytic system based on choline chloride. We have proposed by this an alternative to the classical copper electrodeposition. Coefficient of diffusion, do, for the system Reline-CuCl is presented and the value of d0 is 1.22× 10^-8 cm2/s.

The effects of two chlorinated chiral stationary phases, namely, Lux Cellulose-2 and Lux i-Cellulose-5, flow-rate, percentage of co-solvent and chemical structures of the compounds on retention and resolution were studied within this article. In this work a backpressure of 150 bar, a temperature of 40 ℃ and 10% of methanol as co-solvent were chosen as operating conditions. The optimum flow-rate was 2 mL/min. The percentage of co-solvent was studied between 7.5% and 15%.We have observed that 15% of methanol gave the best results for most of the compounds. For all the derivatives, the Lux Cellulose-2 provided better resolutions going from 1.50 to 3.59 compared with Lux i-Cellulose-5.

Community detection in networks has been studied extensively in the last decade. Many criteria, expressing the quality of the partitions obtained, as well as a few exact algorithms and a large number of heuristics have been proposed. The parsimony criterion consists in minimizing the number of edges added or removed from the given network in order to transform it into a set of disjoint *** Zhang, Qiu and Zhang have proposed a weighted parsimony model in which a weight coefficient is introduced to balance the numbers of inserted and deleted edges. These authors propose rules to select a good value of the coefficient, use simulated annealing to find optimal or near-optimal solutions and solve a series of real and artificial instances. In the present paper, an algorithm is proposed for solving exactly the weighted parsimony problem for all values of the parameter. This algorithm is based on iteratively solving the problem for a set of given values of the parameter using a row generation algorithm. This procedure is combined with a search procedure to find all lowest breakpoints of the value curve(i.e., the weighted sum of inserted and deleted edges). Computational results on a series of artificial and real world networks from the literature are reported. It appears that several partitions for the same network may be informative and that the set of solutions usually contains at least one intuitively appealing partition.

BACKGROUNd We report a case of post-coronavirus disease(COVId)immune hepatitis occurring in a young male with no pre-existing *** SUMMARY A previously healthy 21-year-old male patient was admitted to our hospital with mild *** the course of in-hospital isolation and monitoring,he developed an alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)increase,with the enzymes peaking at day 24(ALT 15 times the upper normal limit),with preserved liver *** liver enzyme increase occurred 20 d after the complete clinical remission of COVId-19,and ALT dynamics paralleled the increase in total antibodies against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).The case was interpreted as post-COVId immune hepatitis,with extensive laboratory investigations excluding other potential *** hepatocytolysis remitted 20 d after the peak ALT,without further intervention,with complete recovery,but the total anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies continued to increase the next 5 mo following the acute *** Close attention should also be paid to young patients with mild forms of disease,and a high index of suspicion should be maintained for post-COVId complications.
