Approach Based on Response-Surface Method to Optimize Lining of Dies Used in 3D Free-Bending Forming Technology

In three-dimensional free-bending forming (3D-FBF), the tube is not overly constrained, and the plastic deformation behavior and forming quality of the bent tube are significantly affected by the critical structure of the forming die lining. However, the effects of die-lining structural parameters on the tube quality, and a method to determine the combination of die-lining structural parameters is yet to be devised. This study aims to propose a new framework that allows one to understand the effects of various die-lining structural parameters on tube quality and to propose the best combination of die-lining structural parameters. First, finite-element modeling is performed to simulate 3D-FBF and examine the effects of individual die-lining structures on the quality of tube formation. The simulation results show that the deformation-zone length and die gap are positively correlated with the tube-section distortion and wall-thickness variation, whereas it shows an opposite trend with respect to the bending radius. Additionally, the lining chamfer radius of the bending die and the guide lining chamfer radius minimally affect the tube forming quality. Subsequently, the optimal die-lining structure is obtained using the response-surface method. The tube cross-sectional distortion rate reduced from 2.73 to 2.53% after the die lining is optimized. Additionally, the average inner-wall thickness reduced to 1.06 mm, whereas the average outer-wall thickness increased to 0.97 mm. This paper proposes a method for optimizing the forming-die-lining mechanism and for improving the tube forming quality in 3D-FBF.

The subcellular localization of samarium and europium, two rare-earths, increasingly used in both medical and industrial fields, has been studied in several organs such as liver and kidney but never in the mammary gland despite of its importance in the biology of lactation and nutrition domains. The intracellular behaviour of samarium and europium after their intra-peritoneal administration in the lactating mammary gland cells was investigated. The results showed the presence of very electron dense deposits in the glandular epithelial cell lysosomes. These particular lysosomes were never observed in the mammary cell lysosomes of control rats. These intralysosomal deposits were probably composed of insoluble samarium or europium phosphates by analogy with previous studies, the transmission electron microscopy, the ion mass microscopy and the electron probe microanalysis, and other techniques allowing the identification of the chemical structure of the intralysosomal deposits.

A series of coumarin-chalcone hybrid compounds and coumarins linked to pyrazoline was synthesized in good yield and short time using a simple and efficient method. This method involved the one-pot reaction of salicylaldehyde, an α-ketoester and an aromatic aldehyde(in the case of the coumarin-chalcone derivatives) in addition to hydrazine hydrate(in the case of the pyrazolyl coumarins) in the presence of a catalytic amount of bismuth triflate [Bi(OTf)3, 5 mol%]. The synthesized compounds showed scavenging activity towards the free radical 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl. All compounds were characterized using IR, 1H NMR and 13 C NMR spectroscopy.

Dipper throated optimization(DTO)algorithm is a novel with a very efficient metaheuristic inspired by the dipper throated *** has its unique hunting technique by performing rapid bowing *** show the efficiency of the proposed algorithm,DTO is tested and compared to the algorithms of Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA),Grey Wolf Optimizer(GWO),and Genetic Algorithm(GA)based on the seven unimodal benchmark ***,ANOVA and Wilcoxon rank-sum tests are performed to confirm the effectiveness of the DTO compared to other optimization ***,to demonstrate the proposed algorithm’s suitability for solving complex realworld issues,DTO is used to solve the feature selection *** strategy of using DTOs as feature selection is evaluated using commonly used data sets from the University of California at Irvine(UCI)*** findings indicate that the DTO outperforms all other algorithms in addressing feature selection issues,demonstrating the proposed algorithm’s capabilities to solve complex real-world situations.

Plants diseases have a detrimental effect on the quality but also on the quantity of agricultural ***,the prediction of these diseases is proving the effect on crop quality and on reducing the risk of production ***,the detection of plant diseases-either with a naked eye or using traditional methods-is largely a cumbersome process in terms of time,availability and results with a high-risk *** present work introduces a depth study of various CNN architectures with different optimization algorithms carried out for olive disease detection using classification techniques that recommend the best model for constructing an effective disease *** study presents a dataset of 5571 olive leaf images collected manually on real conditions from different regions of Morocco,that also includes healthy class to detect olive ***,one of the goals of this research was to study the correlation effects between CNN architectures and optimization algorithms evaluated by the accuracy and other performance *** highest rate in trained models was 100%,while the highest rate in experiments without data augmentation was 92,59%.Another subject of this study is the influence of the optimization algorithms on neuronal network *** a result of the experiments carried out,the MobileNet architecture using Rmsprop algorithms outperformed the others combinations in terms of performance and efficiency of disease detector.

The present study was conducted to evaluate the hypolipidemic effects of coffee silver skin(CSS)supplementation in rats fed a highfat diet(HFD).A total of 40 albino rats were used in the present *** groups were as follows:Rats fed a normal diet,N group;high fat diet,HFD group;high fat diet+10%CSS,HFD 10;HFD+15%CSS,HFD 15;HFD+20%CSS,HFD 20;the diets were followed for 8 *** samples were collected at the end of the *** the time of sacrifice,the weights of heart,liver,kidneys,epididymal fat and retroperitoneal fat of the experimental rats with respect to body weight were *** lipid parameter of the serum was recorded and liver and kidney function tests were ***,a histopathological assay was performed on the liver and kidney tissues of the rats fed the tested *** weight gain of the rats fed a HFD supplemented with 10,15 and 20%CSS was∼1.05,1.08 and 1.12 times lower than that of those rats fed HFD,*** incorporation of CSS at a level of 20%reduced the increase in liver,kidney,epididymal fat and retroperitoneal fat weight by 17.84,19.38,47.23 and 18.00%,respectively,compared with HFD *** administration induced considerable increases in alanine aminotransferase,aspartate aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase activities compared with the control *** results also indicated that the HFD-fed rats exhibited increased levels of urea,uric acid and creatinine,by∼26.38,8.40 and 6.75%,respectively,compared with the control *** the exception of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,all lipid fractions increased significantly in rats fed a *** administration of a HFD induced marked pathological changes in the liver and kidneys of the ***,the incorporation of various levels of CSS in to a HFD reduced these *** results of the present study illustrate that the incorporation of CSS into HFDs reduces the hyperlipidemia effect of these diets.

In this study, the entropy generation and the heat transfer of pulsating air flow in a horizontal channel with an open cavity heated from below with uniform temperature distribution are numerically investigated. A numerical method based on finite volume method is used to discretize the governing equations. At the inlet of the channel, pulsating velocity is imposed for a range of Strouhal numbers Stpfrom 0 to 1 and amplitude Apfrom 0 to 0.5. The effects of the governing parameters, such as frequency and amplitude of the pulsation, Richardson number, Ri, and aspect ratio of the cavity, L/H, on the flow field, temperature distribution, average Nusselt number and average entropy generation, are numerically analyzed. The results indicate that the heat transfer and entropy generation are strongly affected by the frequency and amplitude of the pulsation and this depends on the Richardson number and aspect ratio of the cavity. The pulsation is more effective with the aspect ratio of the cavity L/H= 1.5 in terms of heat transfer enhancement and entropy generation minimization.

This paper provides a comprehensive examination of el Sallam Garden in Port Said City,concentrating on its landscape characteristics and potential for design *** study looks at how space syntax can be used to assess the impact of a tree planting design’s spatial configuration on an urban park’s visual *** play an important role in determining the spatial characteristics of an outdoor *** to space syntax theory,an urban area is a collection of connected spaces that can be represented by a matrix of quantitative properties known as syntactic *** simulations can be used to measure the quantitative properties of these *** study uses space syntax techniques to assess how tree configurations and garden area which can affect the social structures of small-scale gardens in Port *** also looks at how these techniques can be used to predict the social structures of four garden zones in el Sallam *** study includes an observational and space syntax study through comparative analysis of four garden zones in el Sallam *** results of the study show that the area and planting configurations of the garden had a significant effect on the syntactic social and visual measures of the urban *** conclusions and recommendations can be a useful tool for landscape architects,urban planners,and legislators who want to enhance public areas and encourage social interaction in urban settings.
