Improved combustion stability of biogas at different CO_(2) concentrations using inhomogeneous partially premixed stratified flames

Biogas is a renewable and clean energy source that plays an important role in the current environment of lowcarbon *** high-content CO_(2) in biogas can be separated,transformed,and utilized,it not only realizes high-value utilization of biogas but also promotes carbon reduction in the biogas *** improve the combustion stability of biogas,an inhomogeneous,partially premixed stratified(IPPS)combustion model was adopted in this *** thermal flame structure and stability were investigated for a wide range of mixture inhomogeneities,turbulence levels,CO_(2) concentrations,air-to-fuel velocity ratios,and combustion energies in a concentric flow slot burner(CFSB).A fine-wire thermocouple is used to resolve the thermal flame *** flame size was reduced by increasing the CO_(2) concentration and the flames became lighter *** flame temperature also decreased with increase in CO_(2) *** stability was reduced by increasing the CO_(2) ***,at a certain level of mixture inhomogeneity,the concentration of CO_(2) in the IPPS mode did not affect the ***,the IPPS mode of combustion should be suitable for the combustion and stabilization of *** should support the design of highly stabilized biogas turbulent flames independent of CO_(2) *** data show that the lower stability conditions are partially due to the change in fuel combustion energy,which is characterized by the Wobbe index(WI).In addition,at a certain level of mixture inhomogeneity,the effect of the WI on flame stability becomes dominant.

It has been found that the silicon nanowires modified with noble metals can be used to fabricate an effective H2 gas sensor in the present *** preparation and surface modification of silicon nanowires(Si NWs) were carried out by chemical methods. The morphology of the silicon nanowires unmodified and modified with nanoparticles of platinum, palladium, silver and gold was investigated using scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The chemical composition of the silicon nanowire layers was studied by secondary ion mass spectroscopy(SIMS) and energy dispersive X-ray analysis(EDX). The structures of type metal/Si NWs/p-Si/Al were fabricated. The electrical characterization(I–V) was performed in primary vacuum and H2 at different concentrations. It was found that the metal type used to modify the Si NWs strongly influenced the I–V characteristics. The response of these structures toward H2 gas was studied as a function of the metal type. Finally, the sensing characteristics and performance of the sensors were investigated.

In this work,the structure of 4-((2R)-2-(3,4-dibromophenyl)-1-fluorocyclopropyl)-N-(o-tolyl)benzamide(DBFB)has been determined at room temperature using single-crystal X-ray diffraction *** structure of the compound was solved using 1464 observed reflections with I≥2σ(I).It crystallizes in monoclinic space group P21 with a=20.0820(10),b=10.2770(10),c=4.860(2)?,β=95.9600(10)°,V=997.6(4)?3,Z=2,Dc=1.675 g/m3,F(000)=500,Μr=503.18,μ=4.09 mm-1 and the final R=*** molecular packing of the title compound exhibits C–H???O and C–H???F hydrogen bonds forming a supramolecular ***,conformational analysis has been performed in order to confirm the most stable conformer of the title *** parameters of the keto conformer in the ground state have been obtained using density functional theory(DFT)method with B3LYP/6-31G(d,p)level of *** general,a good agreement between the calculated and experimental results was *** normal modes of vibration,molecular boundary orbitals(HOMO and LUMO),reactivity descriptors,Mullikan atomic charges and molecular electrostatic potential for the title compound have been evaluated and discussed.

The small Rab GTPases are key regulators of membrane vesicle trafficking. Ovaries of Periplaneta americana （Linnaeus）（Blattodea： Blattidae） have small molecular weight GTP/ATP-binding proteins during early and late vitellogenic periods of oogenesis. However, the identification and characterization of the detected proteins have not been yet reported. Herein, we cloned a cDNA encoding Rab5 from the American cockroach, P. americana, ovaries （Pamrab5）. It comprises 796 bp, encoding a protein of 213 amino acid residues with a predicted molecular weight of 23.5 kDa. Pamrab5 exists as a single-copy gene in the P. americana genome, as revealed by Southern blot analysis. An approximate 2.6 kb ovarian mRNA was transcribed especially at high levels in the previtellogenic ovaries, detected by Northern blot analysis. The muscle and head tissues also showed high levels of Pamrab5 transcript. Pamrab5 protein was localized, via immunofluorescence labeling, to germline-derived cells of the oocytes, very early during oocyte differentiation. Immunoblotting detected a ~25 kDa signal as a membrane-associated form revealed after application of detergent in the extraction buffer, and 23 kDa as a cytosolic form consistent with the predicted molecular weight from amino acid sequence in different tissues including ovary, muscles and head. The Pamrab5 during late vitellogenic periods is required to regulate the endocytotic machinery during oogenesis in this cockroach. This is the first report on Rab5 from a hemimetabolan, and presents an inaugural step in probing the molecular premises of insect oocyte endocytotic trafficking important for oogenesis and embryonic development.

In this study,we will model a light-weight building made of phase change materials(PCMs)to analyze the impact of the building volume,window orientation,and air infiltration on the PCM *** is done by calculating the energy savings attained by the use of PCM across all of ***’ll use the commercial Rubitherm panels with RT28HC as a phase change material in this ***,the EnergyPlus simulation engine is chosen to perform the *** impact of building volumes is also evaluated on the PCM activation for light-weight square buildings with different side lengths of 10 m,9 m,8 m,and 7 ***,we looked at how well the PCM performed in terms of energy savings and thermal regulation at different window orientation placements(south,north,west,and east)and various air infiltration rates(0.5,1,1.5,and 3 ACH).This paper’s primary objective is to determine the energy savings for the PCM-enhanced building in Morocco,as well as the effect of building volume,window orientation,and infiltration on the PCM capabilities for stabilizing the indoor room *** results show good indoor temperature stabilization during the summer,for the light-weight square building with a south-facing window and no air *** configuration was able to achieve a total fluctuation reduction of 1303.3℃for the 10 m building in a semi-arid ***,a high energy savings percentage of 69.56%was achieved for the PCM-enhanced building with the south-oriented window and air infiltration of 0.5 air change per hour.
