The intracortical microstimulation(ICmS) from 40 to 100 μA is useful to elicit tactile sensations,which could be employed in neuroprostheses to control the robotic arms' ***,this electrical current applied for prolonged periods of time could damage the neuronal ***,there is a necessity to create new strategies for the practical use of ICmS in a safe intensity range for potential clinical applications in tetraplegic *** we describe crucial studies supporting the use of electrical and optical noise to guarantee a safe ICmS delivered through brain-machine interface technologies.

Undeniably,Deep Learning(DL)has rapidly eroded traditional machine learning in Remote Sensing(RS)and geoscience domains with applications such as scene understanding,material identification,extreme weather detection,oil spill identification,among many *** machine learning algorithms are given less and less attention in the era of big ***,a substantial amount of work aimed at developing image classification approaches based on the DL model’s success in computer *** number of relevant articles has nearly doubled every year since *** in remote sensing technology,as well as the rapidly expanding volume of publicly available satellite imagery on a worldwide scale,have opened up the possibilities for a wide range of modern ***,there are some challenges related to the availability of annotated data,the complex nature of data,and model parameterization,which strongly impact *** this article,a comprehensive review of the literature encompassing a broad spectrum of pioneer work in remote sensing image classification is presented including network architectures(vintage Convolutional Neural Network,CNN;Fully Convolutional Networks,FCN;encoder-decoder,recurrent networks;attention models,and generative adversarial models).The characteristics,capabilities,and limitations of current DL models were examined,and potential research directions were discussed.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of moringa oleifera leaf ethanol extract as an adjunct treatment on lead acetate induced hepatonephrotoxicity in rabbits. methods: Thirty-six male New Zealand White rabbits were assigned into two main groups. The first group(14 rabbits) served as normal control. The second group(22 rabbits) was administered orally with lead acetate at a dose of 40 mg/kg/day, 5 days/week for 8 weeks. At the 4 th and the 8 th week of treatment, 6 animals(3 animals at each period) of the second group were sacrificed while the remaining animals(16 rabbits) were assigned randomly into 2 subgroups(8 rabbits each): treated and non-treated. The first subgroup was orally given 1 m L phosphate-buffered saline for further 4 weeks while the second subgroup was administered orally with moringa oleifera leaf ethanol extract at a dose of 400 mg/kg/day for the same period. Blood samples were collected to determine hematological and serum biochemical indices. Tissue specimens were collected from the liver and kidney for evaluation of the oxidant/antioxidant markers and for histopathological ***: Lead acetate exposure decreased the mean body weight gain, hematocrit, hemoglobin, mean corpuscular volume, and lymphocytes count. moreover, it markedly increased counts of monocytes and platelets, serum enzyme activity, levels of creatinine, total cholesterol, triglycerides, and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. malondialdehyde level was markedly increased while the reduced glutathione content was significantly decreased in liver tissue of lead intoxicated-rabbits. Histopathological alterations were also noticed in the liver and kidney of lead intoxicated rabbits. moringa oleifera leaf ethanol extract significantly improved hematological and serum biochemical parameters and histopathological structure of the liver and kidney. Introduction: Vascular endothelial growth factor-C (VEGF-C) is the primary lymphangiogenic factor that stimulates lymphangiogenesis by signaling via specific receptor, vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3 (VEGFR3). This study was conducted to evaluate the change in the level of VEGF-C before and after autologous bone marrow mononuclear cell transplantation for treatment of Lower limb lymphedema. Patient and methods: Forty patients with lower limb lymphedema were divided into two groups. Group I included 20 patients with chronic lower limb lymphedema who underwent autologous bone marrow mononuclear cell transplantation. Group II included 20 patients with chronic lower limb lymphedema who were exposed only to compression therapy as a control group. VEGF-C level in the diseased limbs was measured in both groups at the beginning of the study then 3 and 6 months respectively. Results: Group I included 20 patients, 8 patients were male (40%) and 12 patients were females (60%) with mean age 29.5 ± 12.15 while group II included 20, 10 patients were male (50%) and 10 patients were females (50%) with mean age 39.5 ± 11.5. In group I, the specimens were taken at 3 and 6 months after transplantation showed a marked decrease in the VEGF-C level with statistically significant p value, 0.02 and 0.001 respectively. In group II the level of VEGF-C after compression therapy alone at 3 and 6 months interval showed fluctuation with statistically non-significant p value, 0.64 and 0.55 respectively. Conclusion: VEGF-C is essential for regulation of lymphangiogenesis. The level of VEGF-C was found elevated in patients with lymphedema and decrease after autologous mononuclear bone marrow cells, however these results were statically non-significant.

Osteoarthritis(OA)has been defined as a chronic inflammatory joint disease characterized by progressive articular cartilage *** growing interest in regenerative medicine,using cell therapy and tissue engineering,where cellular components in combination with engineered scaffolds and bioactive materials were used to induce functional tissue *** the present study,nanofibrous scaffold based on chitosan(CS)/poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)were used to develop biologically functionalized biomaterial to mimic the extracellular matrix,allowing the human adipose tissue derived mesenchymal stem cells(ADSCs)to proliferate and differentiate to chondrogenic *** morphology of the nanofibrous mat was examined using field emission scanning electron microscope(FE/SEm).The characteristic functional groups and the nature of the chemical bonds between atoms were evaluated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)*** of the seeded cells was morphologically evaluated by scanning electron microscopy and by flow cytometry for the expression of the stem cell surface *** differentiation potential was verified after chondrogenic induction by analyzing the expression of chondrogenic marker genes using real-time(RT PCR).Current study suggest significant potential for the use of ADSCs with the nanofibrous scaffolds in improving the osteoarthritis pathology.

Green UHPLC method for Simultaneous Determination of Febuxostat and Diclofenac in Pharmaceutical Dosage Form and Human Plasma

Eco-friendly Ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) with green aqueous-organic mobile phase was applied for the simultaneous determination of febuxostat (FEB) and diclofenac (DIC) with the composition of water:ethanol (85:15 v/v) utilizing phenomenex Kinetex C18 column (4.6 × 100 mm 2.6 μm), flow rate 1 ml/min and UV detection at 280 nm with linear ranges of 0.4 - 4.0 μg/mL and 0.5 - 5.0 μg/mL for FEB and DIC, respectively. The proposed method was also successfully applied to analyze the two drugs in pharmaceutical dosage form and human plasma. The results obtained were validated and statistically analyzed and found to be in accordance with those given by reported methods. moreover, the greenness of the developed method is assessed using suitable analytical Eco-Scale and GAPI tools and comparison with the previously published methods have been carried out to indicate the priority of the proposed method. UHPLC is considered eco-friendly method regarding uses of safe solvents, simple, accurate and short time of analysis.
