In presence of difficult conditions in coal mining roadways, an adequate stabilization of the excavation boundary is required to ensure a safe progress of the construction. The stabilization of the roadways can be improved by fully grouted rock bolt, offering properties optimal to the purpose and versatility in use. Investigations of load transfer between the bolt and grout indicate that the bolt profile shape and spacing play an important role in improving the shear strength between the bolt and the surrounding strata. This study proposes a new analytical solution for calculation displacement and shear stress in a fully encapsulated rock bolt in jointed rocks. The main characteristics of the analytical solution consider the bolt profile and jump plane under pull test conditions. The performance of the proposed analytical solution, for three types of different bolt profile configurations, is validated by ANSYS software. The results show there is a good agreement between analytical and numerical methods. Studies indicate that the rate of displacement and shear stress from the bolt to the rock exponentially decayed. This exponential reduction in displacement and shear stress are dependent on the bolt characteristics such as: rib height, rib spacing, rib width and grout thickness, material and joint properties.

Purpose: To determine the relationship of illnesses and medical drug consumption with the occurrence of traffic accidents among truck and bus drivers. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study on truck and bus drivers in Tehran, Iran. The criteria for participating in this study were: married males over 30 years old, driving license in grade one, five years of job experience, mental health and non-addiction license. The criterion for not participating in this study was the lack of cooperation in responding to the questions. Six months was spent to collect the latest five years data of driving accidents from 2011 to 2016. A total of 323 truck and bus drivers in Tehran city and the suburbs, Iran were chosen. Among them, 112 were responsible for accidents (accident group) while 211 were not responsible for any accidents or involved in an accident in the last five years (nonaccident group). A specially designed questionnaire was used to investigate the demographic information, medical drug consumption, medical backgrounds and history of accidents. Results: The results revealed that compared with healthy subjects, the occurrence of accidents among people with diabetes (OR = 2.3, p = 0.001) and vision weakness (OR = 1.7, p = 0.020) was significantly higher, while that among people with cardiac (OR = 0.5, p = 0.002) and hypertension (OR = 0.9, p = 0.048) problems was remarkably lower. Moreover, consumption of Gemfibrozil (OR = 1.8, p = 0.010) and Glibenclamide (OR = 2.2, p = 0.002) drugs resulted in significantly higher incidence of accidents than those without. Conclusion: Frequencies of illnesses like cardiovascular and hypertension were not higher in accident drivers than in non-accident drivers;but diabetes, vision weakness and consumption of Gemfibrozil and Glibenclamide lead to more traffic accidents.

The simplified momentum equations of the two-phase flow have been adopted as the basic assumptions in this study. For vessels of small diameter, the shear stress becomes important and the friction pressure drop proposed by Ergun considers this effect by involving the wall effect. By replacing the Ergun pressure drop and the first order velocity term for particles drag model in the momentum equations, the relation for the drag coefficient versus the volume fraction is obtained. The calculus of variations is used with certain restriction for extremization of this drag coefficient. An analytical correlation for the drag coefficient is obtained depending on the volume fraction of “fluid particles”. The drag function obtained in previous studies does not match with the empirical data in the bed volume fraction range of [0.45 to 0.59]. Therefore, the function is modified and the results are better adjusted with the empirical data.

BACKGROUND There are no consistent results between previous studies for an independent association between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and cardiovascular disease(CVD)*** To determine if there is an independent association between NAFLD and CVD *** In the present study,valid outcome data of 4808 subjects were available for phase 2 of our cohort *** subjects had been followed up for seven years from phase 1,beginning in 2009-2010 to phase 2 during *** and multiple Cox proportional models were used to determine the association between NAFLD in the primary phase of the cohort and subsequent fatal and non-fatal CVD events during *** The incidence of non-fatal CVD events in males with NAFLD was significantly higher(P=0.004)than in males without NAFLD.A positive association was demonstrated between NAFLD and non-fatal CVD events in males(Hazard ratio=1.606;95%CI:1.166-2.212;P=0.004)by the simple Cox proportional hazard model,but no independent association was detected between these in the multiple Cox *** No independent association was detected between NAFLD and *** is likely that diabetes mellitus and age may be the principle mediators in this regard.

COCM: Class Based Optimized Congestion Management Protocol for Healthcare Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) consist of numerous sensor nodes which can be used in many new emerging applications like healthcare. One of the major challenges in healthcare environments is to manage congestion, because in applications, such as medical emergencies or patients remote monitoring, transmitted data is important and critical. So it is essential in the first place to avoid congestion as much as possible and in cases when congestion avoidance is not possible, to control the congestion. In this paper, a class based congestion management protocol has been proposed for healthcare applications. We distinguish between sensitive, non-sensitive and control traffics, and service the input traffics based on their priority and quality of service requirements (QoS). The proposed protocol which is called COCM avoids congestion in the first step using multipath routing. The proposed AQM algorithm uses separate virtual queue's condition on a single physical queue to accept or drop the incoming packets. In cases where input traffic rate increases and congestion cannot be avoided, it mitigates congestion by using an optimized congestion control algorithm. This paper deals with parameters like end to end delay, packet loss, energy consumption, lifetime and fairness which are important in healthcare applications. The performance of COCM was evaluated using the OPNET simulator. Simulation results indicated that COCM achieves its goals.

This paper presents the automatic guidance system of an agricultural tractor and the side shift control of the attached row crop cultivator using electro-hydraulic actuators. In order to simulate the dynamic behaviour of the tractor along with the attached cultivator, the modified bicycle model was adopted. Steering angle sensor, fibre optic gyroscope （FOG） and RTK-DGPS technologies are assumed for measurements of the steering angle, yaw rate and the lateral position of the tractor, respectively. The kinematics model was used for the implement. In this study four cascade controllers were designed and simulated for tractor guidance which consists ofPD, PD, P and PID controllers. Other PI and PID controllers also had been designed for implement side shifting purpose. Then, these two systems were combined and the performance of the whole system was evaluated through the simulation results. According to the results tractor reaches the desired path after less than 10 seconds. Simulations showed that the maximum deviation of the tractor from the desired path was about 5 cm within this period. And the cultivator blades would follow the predetermined path with steady state error of about 5 cm too.

背景:强迫症患者(Obsessive Compulsive Disorder,OCD)与强迫型人格障碍患者(Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder,OCPD)的认知功能还没有得到充分的研究。目标:验证OCD和OCPD患者的认知灵活性和计划能力。方法:本研究在德黑兰心理咨询门诊选定了25例OCD患者和20例OCPD患者,他们在既往两周都没有服药,并且从大学工作人员和当地社区居民中选定了25名健康对照者。对所有参与者均进行28项一般健康问卷(28-item version of the General Health Questionnaire,GHQ-28)、威斯康星卡片分类测验(Wisconsin Card Sorting Test,WCST)、和伦敦塔试验(Tower of London test,TOL))。本研究运用WCTS的两个测量指标(持续错误数和完成分类数)评估认知灵活性以及TOL的三个测量指标(12个试验总共的移动次数、总应答时和计划时间)评估计划能力。结果:2组患者的当前心理困扰程度显著高于对照组。在控制人口学因素和心理困扰水平后,OCD患者和OCPD患者在WCST测试中比对照组更容易出现持续性错误,而OCD患者(不包括OCPD患者)的完成分类数比对照组显著减少。OCD患者和OCDP患者都比对照组需要更多的移动次数来完成12项TOL任务,并且OCD患者比OCPD患者和对照组需要花更长的时间来完成任务。结论:与健康对照组相比,OCD和OCPD患者的认知灵活性和计划能力都有所受损,并且OCD和OCPD患者之间的认知功能测试也存在一些差异。我们需要对OCD和OCPD患者进行长期随访研究评估在强迫症状严重性加重与减轻时认知功能的改变,从而决定此类认知评估指标对于强迫症是否有诊断或临床关联性。
