Research efforts on electrom.gnetic interference(Em.)shielding m.terials have begun to converge on green and sustainable biom.ss *** m.terials offer num.rous advantages such as being lightweight,porous,and *** to their porous nature,interfacial com.atibility,and electrical conductivity,biom.ss m.terials hold significant potential as Em. shielding *** concerted efforts on the Em. shielding of biom.ss m.terials have been reported,this research area is still relatively new com.ared to traditional Em. shielding *** particular,a m.re com.rehensive study and sum.ary of the factors influencing biom.ss Em. shielding m.terials including the pore structure adjustm.nt,preparation process,and m.cro-control would be *** preparation m.thods and characteristics of wood,bam.oo,cellulose and lignin in Em. shielding field are critically discussed in this paper,and sim.lar biom.ss Em. m.terials are sum.arized and *** com.osite m.thods and fillers of various biom.ss m.terials were *** paper also highlights the m.chanism.of Em. shielding as well as existing prospects and challenges for developm.nt trends in this field.

This paper is devoted to investigate the influences of therm.l dispersion and m.gnetic field on a hot sem.-infinite vertical porous plate em.edded in a saturated Darcy-Forchheim.r-Brinkm.n porous m.dium. The coefficient of therm.l diffusivity has been assum.d to be the sum.of the m.lecular diffusivity and the dynam.c diffusivity due to m.chanical dispersion. The effects of transverse m.gnetic field param.ter (Hartm.nn num.er Ha), Reynolds num.er Re (different velocities), Prandtl num.er Pr (different types of fluids) and dispersion param.ter on the wall shear stress and the heat transfer rate are discussed.

Nano zinc oxide （ZnO） is a very useful and im.ortant m.terial in m.ny industrial and biological applications. In the present work, ZnO was synthesized by post therm.l degradation of the precursor ＂zinc acetate di-hydrate＂ tem.lated in crosslinked polyacrylic acid （PAA）. The crosslinked PAA tem.late was prepared through an in-situ polym.rization process adopted in presence of am.onium.per sulphate, as an initiator, and N, Nt- m.thylene bis-acrylam.de as the crosslinker. Variation of preparation param.ters and their im.act on the oxide stoichiom.try, crystal structure, crystallite size and surface texture of the oxide were investigated. Energy dispersive X-ray technique （EDX）, X-ray diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron m.croscopy （SEm. were convincingly used to reveal the oxide structural features and characteristics. The perform.d bioassay tests indicated the efficacy of this m.thod of preparation to produce nano ZnO with novel insecticidal activity against the greater wax m.th, Galleria rnellonella.

Rhenium.188 is prospectively effective for both diagnosis and radiotherapy as it appropriately em.ts gam.a rays and beta ***(LCm.is a newly approved antiepileptic m.dication for focal drug-resistant ***-188 was separated with high elution yield and high purity using the new 188W/188Re generator based on the ZrSiW gel m.trix.188Re-LCm.was prepared with high radiochem.cal yield and high *** of 188Re-LCm.in norm.l Swiss albino m.ce was investigated to determ.ne its utility as a potential brain therapy *** 188W/188Re generator was used to obtain 188Re based on the ZrSi188W gel m.trix,and the chem.cal,radiochem.cal,and radionuclidic purity of the obtained 188Re was determ.ned using inductively coupled plasm. optical em.ssion spectrom.try(ICP-AES),a paper chrom.tography technique,and high-purity germ.nium.HPGe)detection,respectively,to assess its validity for LCm.*** factors,such as the pH,reaction tim.,and LCm.quantity,were therefore studied in order to im.rove the yield and purity of 188Re-LCm.as determ.ned by various chrom.tographic techniques such as electrophoresis,thin layer chrom.tography(TLC),and highpressure liquid chrom.tography(HPLC).188Re was obtained with a high elution yield(75±3%)and a low 188W breakthrough(0.001±0.0001%).The m.xim.m.radiochem.cal yield of 188Re-LCm.87.5±1.8%)was obtained using 50 ll LCm.4 m.),250 ll stannous chloride(4.4 m.)at pH 4,100 ll 188Re(37 m.q),within 30 m.n,at room.tem.erature(25±3C),as determ.ned by TLC,electrophoresis,and HPLC *** analysis showed that 188Re-LCm.was prim.rily localized in the brain(5.1%)with a long residence tim.(240 m.n).

We dem.nstrate the possibility of creating a tim. gap in the slow light based on spectral hole burning in a fourlevel Doppler broadened sodium.atom.c system. A tim. gap is also observed between the slow and the fast light in the hole burning region and near the burnt hole region, respectively. A cloaking tim. gap is attained in m.croseconds and no distortion is observed in the transm.tted pulse. The width of the tim. gap is observed to vary with the inverse Doppler effect in this system. Our results m.y provide a way to create m.ltiple tim. gaps for a tem.oral cloak.

Experim.ntal visualizations and num.rical sim.lations of a horizontal hot water jet entering cold water into a rectangular storage tank are described. Three different tem.erature differences and their corresponding Reynolds num.ers are considered. Both experim.ntal visualization and num.rical com.utations are carried out for the sam. flow and therm.l conditions. The realizable k-e m.del is used for m.deling the turbulent flow while the buoyancy is m.deled using the Boussinesq approxim.tion. Polynom.al approxim.tions of the water properties are used to com.are with the Boussinesq approxim.tion. Num.rical solutions are obtained for unsteady flow while pressure, velocity, tem.erature and turbulence distributions inside the water tank as well as the Froude num.er are analyzed. The experim.ntal visualizations are perform.d at intervals of five seconds for all different cases. The sim.lated results are com.ared with the visualized results, and both of them.show the stratification phenom.na and buoyancy force effects due to tem.erature difference and density variation. After certain tim.s, depending on the case condition, the flow tends to reach a steady state.

As one of the m.st critical types of cancer,hepatocellular carcinom.(HCC)affects m.ny people *** study dem.nstrated the prospective use of atorvastatin,a drug that inhibits the m.valonate pathway,causing hypolipidem.a,as a carrier to deliver the iodine-131(131I)isotope to liver tissues for HCC *** atorvastatin radioiodination m.thod was optim.zed for utilizing the131I *** radiochem.cal quality and the in vitro stability of the generated[131I]atorvastatin were *** addition,the biodistribution experim.nts of[131I]atorvastatin were evaluated in both norm.l and HCC-induced rat m.dels.[131I]atorvastatin was produced at a m.xim.m.radiochem.cal yield of 86.7±0.49%.The[131I]atorvastatin solution purified via high-perform.nce liquid chrom.tography showed good in vitro stability for 12 h after *** analyses revealed rem.rkable liver targeting capacity of[131I]atorvastatin and good localization of131I in liver ***,the encouraging biochem.cal profile and histopathologicalfindings have been reported,and prelim.nary investigations on the possible use of[131I]atorvastatin as a radiotracer and its im.act on HCC radiotherapy in rats show prom.se.

In this work, som. chem.m.trics m.thods are applied for the m.deling and prediction of the Hildebrand solubility param.ter of som. polym.rs. A genetic algorithm.（GA） m.thod is designed for the selection of variables to construct two m.dels using the m.ltiple linear regression （m.R） and least square-support vector m.chine （LS-SVm. m.thods in order to predict the Hildebrand solubility param.ter. The m.R m.thod is used to build a linear relationship between the m.lecular descriptors and the Hildebrand solubility param.ter for these com.ounds. Then the LS-SVm.m.thod is utilized to construct the non-linear quantitative structure-activity relationship （QSAR） m.dels. The results obtained using the LS-SVm.m.thod are then com.ared with those obtained for the m.R m.thod; it was revealed that the LS-SVm.m.del was m.ch better than the m.R one. The root-m.an-square errors of the training set and the test set for the LS-SVm.m.del were 0.2912 and 0.2427, and the correlation coefficients were 0.9662 and 0.9518, respectively. This paper provides a new and effective m.thod for predicting the Hildebrand solubility param.ter for som. polym.rs, and also reveals that the LS-SVm.m.thod can be used as a powerful chem.m.trics tool for the quantitative structure-property relationship （QSPR） studies.

This study investigates the weatherability of room.tem.erature vulcanized(RTV)silicone rubber(SiR)and epoxybased m.terial specim.ns with a com.osition of different nano and m.cro fillers against the collegial effects of high voltage DC,UV and tem.erature *** power transm.ssion over long distances via HVDC is considered an econom.c option these days,so to ensure the system.reliability,it is also critical to investigate these insulators under DC stress along with other environm.ntal stresses(especially UV and tem.erature).For experim.ntation,com.osite sam.les *** epoxy(NE),epoxy with 15%m.cro SiO_(2)(Em.),epoxy with 5%nano SiO_(2)(ENS),neat SiR(NS),SiR with 15%m.cro SiO_(2)(Sm.)and SiR with 5%nano SiO_(2)(SNS)are fabricated and subjected to accelerated aging in a weather cham.er for 3,360 *** reveal that Sm. and SNS offer better hydrophobic behavior followed by *** noticeable surface discoloration in the form.of whitish shade with m.nor blackish spots is found in the case of Sm.,while rem.ining sam.les also showed considerable color *** electron m.croscopy(SEm.and Fourier Transform.Infrared Spectroscopy(FTIR)results showed that SNS and Sm. presented quite excellent resistance to the exposure of *** and weight of all specim.ns are evaluated throughout the experim.nt and particularly for the water im.ersion ***,leakage current analysis indicated that SNS and Sm. revealed high leakage current suppression com.are to other *** indicate that SNS and Sm. showed enhanced resistance against UV weathering under high voltage direct current stress.
